What an amazing place, every staff member that i had contact with was very nice and helpful towards me and my cat Fluff. A huge thank you from me and Fluff, after getting his lion cut to get the mats off of him he has totally done a 180 he now lets me rub/pet him all over (where before he wouldn’t) and is way more active and playful it’s so crazy to see him like this after having him for a year and trying to get the mats off of him. I can not thank you all enough

I can not say enough about this vet. You can say what you want. I had to put my precious cat down, and they explained everything and stayed with her to the end. Thank you to the vet and staff and her husband for putting my mind and knowing my wishes. I told them I wanted her to die with dignity, and she did. They even offered me a paw mark. . Entrance handicap accessable. For restroom parking by the vets office.again, thank you all.i really miss her.

Everyone here is super sweet and take their time addressing concerns with my pet's well-being. I've never felt rushed and I'm confident they really care about my cats and enjoy seeing them. They offer treats after asking to make the visit less stressful on animals. My new kitten was focused on the treats instead of the shot he needed! Very grateful to know our buddies are in good hands.

I had to put my cat of 14 years down. They were very compassionate with the decision I was faced with making and made clay paw prints for me. I thank them for their gentleness toward my kitty and kindness for us.

Sadly, this clinic seems to value making money over caring for your pet. They will nickel and dime you for anything and everything suggesting unnecessary procedures and bloodwork for a perfectly healthy animal then make you feel guilty for not spending thousands of dollars with them. The vet I saw for my cat, Dr. Penny Farmer, was very rude and condescending with zero bedside manner. I would strongly encourage anyone looking for a vet to find one that has a stronger desire to care for animals than to make a buck.

I found a lost Pitbull and everyone at this clinic were so helpful! They scanned him for a chip and gave me some well-needed advice. We were able to get the help we needed thanks to these wonderful people!!!Thank you again for all your help!!!!

Not personable at all. New in town so thought we would try Minerva vet out. Bad choice. This was my second time here. I was the first appointment of the day and was greeted by the co-owner and 2 employees. I was in the middle of talking, the phone started ringing and the co-owner and employee both walked away from me and went to answer the phone. I completely and totally understand answering the phone but usually a person excuses themselves politely and then returns their attention back to the person once finished. The call didn’t even last 5 seconds—-They never returned to directing their attention back to me. 😂 Maybe they just weren’t interested in what I was saying? 🤷‍♀️ 😆 It was still very awkward and rude. They weren’t busy and no one else was there, so that made it more awkward. Then, I was shuffled quickly into a room. I was trying to build some kind of relationship with these people but I felt as though I was just being shuffled through.$$$ I though I might have just been being petty or sensitive but it gets better. When I politely told the lady employee that I’v decided I was going to go somewhere else , the co-owner piped up and said “yeah I think you’ll be happy somewhere else.” What?! 😂 After that, I told him gently and kindly that I felt pushed off while trying to build a relationship and trust with him/them and he told me, “I’m sorry you feel that way.” Double WHAT?! 😂 I wasn’t looking to stir trouble—just looking to build relationship and you do that by communication. Just terrible communication and lack of personable skills. I wish I would have looked at the reviews a little better before coming here and wasting my time. I look forward to giving my money to business’ that truly value their clients and take the time to build trust and authentic relationships with them. If you just wanna be pushed and cycled though, Minerva vet is for you!Ps. The “estimate” or pay setup was weird too. First, I was quoted $200-300 at our first visit. Then when I get there, they had an estimate written up for me that was $280-$1000.00+ .

Worst place to take an animal. Does not care about animals at all, only wants to make money. Staff is rude and doesn't listen to the pet parent. Told them you can't get blood from our pets legs and they kept trying against our wishes. Dog and owner have PTSD from this place. Shame on this clinic!!

This clinic is so kind when you need it the most! They are patient, and gentle to your fur babies, especially when it's time to cross the Rainbow Bridge. I've been a sobbing mess here twice and both times, they were absolutely amazing.Clean and caring! Highly recommend!

Took cat in for tooth that was loose and was being pressed by swelling. Caused by infection. Also cat had rash on back. Said the rash was likely a flea bite that our cat kept biting. Would not give flea shot or antibiotics for the infection until ALL teeth were pulled. Yes, one bad tooth, the rest were beginning to go, but did not need removed, but vet said that was the only option. Absolutely horrible vet. Will take cat else where for the tooth pulling. Cat eats fine, just the loose tooth causes her clear discomfort. Can’t put into words how upset I am with this vet (I forget if there are more than 1 vet in the office. If so, I will revise to mention it)

I’m from out of town. I needed a shot for my baby. They obviously don’t need business. Rude! Acted like they did not want to help. If they are unkind to me I don’t think they’d be kind to my baby. I didn’t give them a chance. Too many other offices in the area. I found 3 others that were friendly and more than helpful! 2 didn’t offer the shot I needed but they were helpful in telling me other offices that do.

My daughter took our dog to this vet 3 days ago. Issues for him to be seen were blood shot eyes, not able to stand or walk, wasn't eating or drinking. This office took blood, checked for Lyme, and pushed heart guard meds on him. Today this dog who is one 1.5 years old lays in the vet hospital on IV, when we pick him up this evening he will go home on IV, special food so he can eat. Results are ele shock of toxins. He has burns all over inside of his mouth.. I will never use this vet again. Was a customer for 10 years! 0 stars. If I was rich I'd hired an attorney

Will never go there again. Really needed to have a cat put down, had to call 3 times to get appointment only to take cat there and wouldn't put it down. Sometimes vets need to listen what the customer needs . They really made my mom's moving day harder then it had to be.

Had 1 of my 4 dogs there for a nail trim, the techs were amazing! Went to make a nail trim appt for another of my dogs was told I could not make an appt. No explanation of why. Now a month later I am receiving registered mail from this vet. Called office stated I am not a client and my dogs do not go there can someone please tell me what is going on. Was told the office manager refused to speak with me and I needed to sign for the letter and read it, that is was self explanatory?!!!! Seriously! I have no clue what the issue is. The bill was paid prior to the nail trim and my dog is not a problem. Apparently the office is managed by a child who cannot/will not adult and has a strong need to dominate/and or feel superior. I strongly recommend no one use this vet under the current management. KUDOS TO THE AWESOME TECHS THAT WORK THERE, THEY DO ROCK!

Update: I have raised them to 3 stars due o their excellent care of a cat of ours with seizures. The doctor prescribed anti-seizure meds and then had the staff and facility 100% ready to receive him to reduce his stress as much as possible. They did surgery on another kitty who is doing well, and their care of him was exceptional. Also, their payment plans are flexible - and that has been a big help of late. So, adding two stars to get to 3 was a no-brainer.First, I hate to have to do this, but this is the only outlet I know to express my sadness over the loss of a great vet and the lack of simple courtesy by the new regime. We have 9 cats, and all of them have gone here dating back about 13 years or more. Our dog went there until she passed in 2010. The original owner and vet - Dr. Childers - was exceptional in every way! All of our pets are rescues, and many have health issues, so we're there almost once a week or more.We have one who had giardia when we rescued him. He has about a 6-8 month cycle for it becoming active and medication puts it back into dormancy. It took 10 years, but two of our other cats have contracted it from him and as recently as last week, had to get a 2nd dose for another one who hasn't quite beaten it yet. With this long history and the cyclical pattern of this parasite, Dr. Childers knew that we were aware of the symptoms and would occasionally bend her own rules to get him meds without seeing him.BUT NOT THE NEW REGIME!!!Took a sample down yesterday morning - way out of of my way before work and waited to hear back the results. But -AS IS THE NORM NOW- NO ONE CALLED! So, I called this afternoon and was told they haven't seen this cat since April of 2018 which seems wrong, but we don't keep perfect records, so I can't dispute it. They didn't want to tell me the results because they had to have the appointment first. I finally was told that, yes, the giardia parasite was active again. So, I said I need an appointment so he's not suffering with diarrhea and weight-loss as it takes his nutrition away. But their earliest appointment is mid-April...A MONTH AWAY! So, our only recourse is to call at 8am to try and get an emergency appointment - just so they can make a buck and cover themselves as regards liability. So, we then would have to call off work or be way late to get him in just to get him the very common meds he needs, we pay for, and they know he needs. Why not just get the meds ready now and set up an appointment which we're always good for? We're down there all the time, what are we going to do, skip town with our score of giardia medicine?Every single time we've taken a sample or had a pet there and needed news since the changeover, we've had to call them not vice versa. The new owners are unresponsive and display ZERO of the care and professionalism that Dr. Childers showed us for well over a decade. She will be missed, and we'll be looking for a new vet soon.To know a regular, long-time patient and the owners' history there with a file that would fill a shelf, and not prescribe meds after charging the owner for the test, is irresponsible and borders on abuse. We'll play their game, but I know after hearing from other long-timers of this clinic, that they're not happy with the new regime, either. It's not about competence. It's about doing the right thing. And the right thing seems to be retiring along with the greatest vet we've ever had the pleasure to know.J.T. Woolf

Small Town vet with a great team. Everyone from the receptionist to the veterinarian is very friendly and easy to talk to. Also you can't beat the prices here! Even though we moved an hour and a half away, we still make the trip back.

I called to ask them to euthanize my dog who was unable to get up and was laying in her own urine. She has been seen there a few years ago, but she was no longer in the computer, so I was told that she would be considered a "new client" and that they are not accepting "new clients", there fore they would not see her. EXCUSE ME, if I am seeking to have my dogs suffering ended peacefully and comfortably, how can you decline her as a "new client"? To think they would allow an animal to suffer instead of being compassionate and humane in her time of greatest need is just deplorable and uncaring. I will NEVER recommend this practice to anyone, if they can't be compassionate when an animal is truly in need of their help, why would anyone think they truly care about your pet while they are healthy???

I accidentally stepped on my kitten and broke her leg on Thanksgiving Day. They got us in the next day for xrays & an exam and gave us treatment options. I can't say thanks enough for the help!

This place is absolutely disgusting. As you walk into the door there is a strong disgusting smell, we had to wait for 10 mins to even get checked in because the lady was on the phone, then waited 30 more minutes to get into a room. The room was dirty and disgusting. The floors were wrinkled up and a strong smell greeted us at the room door. Never taking my animals here again. Disgusting

Brought in 1 of 5 cats for a booster shot. Called in per COVID-19 protocol. No one bothered to come out. 20 minutes later I called again, and yes, they had totally forgotten about me. After that, I was charged not only for the booster shot, but for a "tech exam". When I complained, the co-owner informed me that it was a listed charge like any professional would give, and that was how they made money. What about my time and their lack of professionalism? Price gouging. I miss Dr. Childers as owner.

Stay away!!! They are very uncooperative with making payments. They want post dated checks or your visa number or you don't get your animal back. And when you do make payments they want to use your account information on your checks to take control of the amount of payments made. I don't know about you but I am on a fixed income, love my dog but I can only pay $50/mo on my $900 bill. If they take more than $50/mo, which they claim they are going to, I will be in default of my home loan and could lose my home. This type of business operations should be illegal especially if you are making payments and doing the best you can. STAY AWAY!!!!!! There are other vets out there, I will never go back to them again.

Very courteous, and made sure to take the time to listen to what my concerns were. They take the time to explain everything to you without rushing you out the door, to move onto the next beloved pet
