I went in with a friend to kill time. She was informed that someone else had called to say she was going to come ask for help. They handed to her a $25 voucher so she could buy some much needed clothes! I was impressed. They sent her to a food bank where they were expecting her and they loaded her up with enough groceries until pay day as well as toiletries and soap to wash her laundry. To watch this go down made me feel proud to be a member of the human race. Times are tough and seem to be getting harder instead of improving. It's been a long while since I've seen this so I'm happy to have been around. My friend went home in a much better frame of mind than she started off with. We need more peeps like the ministries.
