Taking the time to give a hugely positive shoutout to The Mottled Lotl! We have 3 axolotls from them and they are all so pretty! We had an issue arise with one of our Axolotls and Tina was in constant communication with us, always following up to see how the Axolotl was doing as well as asking about how my daughter was doing (it’s her Axolotl)! Tina definitely cares about these animals and it is evident when chatting with her; she very knowledgeable and was always willing to answer any of my questions.

We recently received a young Axolotl from Mottled Lotl. Our new pet is the cutest thing ever and looks like he has been very well cared for. Tina, owner of mottled Lotl, could not have been more responsive to my never ending list of questions as we prepared for our Axolotl’s arrival. I ordered a juvenile axolotl from Tina and she was very helpful during the entire process. She was able to accommodate a special shipping request for me and provided price quotes in a timely manner. The axolotl I received was in an insulated cooler and packed with care along with helpful printouts. The axolotl is healthy and shows no signs of injury or defect. Out right disrespectful. If they don’t know the answer to a question, they turn it around and try to make you feel ignorant for asking. Purchased an axolotl and received some thing different than the picture. I would be very cautious because they do not own up to their mistakes. Buyer beware! There are many other reputable sellers out there and this is not a store, this is just a person selling from their home.
