Edit- This location continues to be a location that encompasses the below information. The ailes are still full of carts full of food, items on the floor, missing massive amounts of items. I've added some photos.This place is a dump! Carts in the aisle with product on them, missing items that stay missing from the shelfs, the works have zero customer service.

This store could not have been any more disorganized or junked up. Stock was piled up everywhere on carts blocking a good portion of the shelves. Saw one staff member in the whole store. They were busy at the register. Can't really say it's their fault. One person can't take care of the register/customers and keep the store properly stocked. So I put this squarely on management. Dollar Generals are a good store, when managed properly. I visited on 2 occasions over a couple days. No change to the situation. Saw one lady with a stroller. Impossible for her to access all the rows. This should be a major fire code violation. Hope they get it squared away soon.

I stopped in to get band aids for my finger I had to get stitched up and dog and cat food. The cashier was great about putting the stuff in the cart for me. If there wasnt a long line I would have asked him to put it in my car. Gotta say they have a great staff.

Great location, only major chain store in the Lynchburg area, can always find something no other DG has. Store has a great layout and the employees are generally helpful and in good moods. The lines in the parking lot however could be repainted as I saw people just parking wherever, which could cause problems in an emergency.

This is one of the most disgusting establishments I've ever been in. If I could give it less I would have. Floors are filthy. Nothing is organized. Empty wrappers on the shelves. Aisle ways are always full of product not put away. Just filthy. I wished I had pictures.

First time visiting the staff was very polite and gave my son a free Easter basket since it was Easter. Also great deals and clean store. Variety of products to look at.

Merchandise will constantly ringing up wrong, and most of the time the cashier does not fix it. There are always empty spots on the shelves, and be prepared to navigate around pallets and carts of unshelved merchandise left out on the floor. Also, a lot of their merchandise is overpriced from what you would pay at a regular store.

I had a pleasant time shopping at Dollar General in Lynchburg. The sales clerk was super friendly! And I was amazed, the store had an amazing selection of food and just everything! I'll be back soon!😊💟

I think it's a shame i can go down the road 10 miles either way and buy the same exact products and it cost more and your products are going up while other grocery stores are going down I see your company taking advantage of small town people that for whatever reason may not be able to go far and it's not a convenience to spend more money that they really don't have.I think I will take my family's shopping somewhere else.Ive always did some shopping at your stores and ino a lot of people that quit going because of your prices .

They need take less breaks and open up another line. When there is 10 plp and you just stay in the office and come out to look at everybody and walk away Come on. Without the customers you have no job Some plp need to rem this I'm not going back My time is just as valuable as yours

This Dollar General is awful! There are rolltainers and totes everywhere! Very unorganized store! Cashier is not friendly and the other lady walks around pushing and leaning on a cart

Mine is always unbelievable and Lynchburg only one person working and very slow.... I do like the store and the people are nice just no help
