Fun little place! Liked all the places to sit and eat, dog friendly too. Lots to choose from, fair pricing. Don't know if there was a restroom or not, forgot to look. Parking right off the street for at least 10 cars I'd say. Friendly people and they do take credit cards if you don't have cash, don't forget to tip! Evening hours, I think 5-9pm maybe...? We'll be back.

Pulled into the parking area, ready to walk up only to see signs saying to order from your car. Which we didn't want to do as there were picnic tables set up that seemed welcoming.So we park and walk up only to see the 2nd sign. At this point, i was annoyed and ready to leave. But we decided to try it anyway.Drove into the drive thru. There are plenty of menus to see as you move thru. Thought the prices were a bit high til we got our order and the prices are ok for the quantity. We pulled back around to park n eat but just sat in our car.They really don't want ppl walking up, which is the only thing we didn't like about the place. 3 stars for that & the plastic cups make your ice cream melt faster.

Great ice cream, very friendly staff, very clean and well decorated ice cream shop in a quiet neighborhood. Prices are very good and many choices to choose from so everyone will find something they will want. They even have puppy ice cream cup or cone with dog biscuits so no one in the family is left out from getting ice cream. Well worth checking out!

Super impressed! In a last-minute, almost DQ closing time decision after the girls softball game tonight, we decided to grab a sweet treat the way home. Realizing we wouldn't make it home to our regular spot, we stopped in to Mike and Aj'z, which friends had raved about...We were not disappointed-- the cute decor, the friendly helpful staff and YUMMY creamy ice cream!

What used to be a family friendly establishment is now in business to self serve, literally.We used to frequent "mike & aj'z" as a family.We would ride our bikes and sit outside on the picnic tables.Their prices are high, but since it's local we tried to patronize.Then one day, the owners decided they were in business to self serve and were not in business for customers. They are only open 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., daily.What used to be a walk up window is now completely covered with material. They only do drive through. Oh, you can ring a bell and they'll serve you, but only after everyone has gone through the drive through.There are signs everywhere; do not put stones on the picnic tables, do not put stones in the flower beds, no sitting on the fence, no sitting on the queue line rope, no parking bikes. I already mentioned they shuttered the front of their store so it looks closed even when its open.We walked for the last time to get ice last Friday. As if the signs and blanketed walk up aren't enough to deter a would be customer;Workers appear to be irritated at walk ups. (Perhaps its the bell one has to ring to be served.)A small and medium cone totaled $6 and change. The message is loud and clear; "you, the customer are an inconvenience and a bother. Please don't touch our stuff." We read you loud and clear and we won't be back.

Always a long line but can't really hate on them for that! I don't recommend the avy Mays or their version of a blizzard it wasn't very good the first second or 3rd time I gave it a try but the malts are phenomenal and so is the dole whip! Great owners and workers

Mike and Aj'z Ice Cream Shack is a great place to enjoy a frozen treat! They handle both individual orders and large orders for events very well. Audrey is great to work with! She also leads the pack when it comes to supporting local businesses. There is an entire section of the Mike and Aj'z website devoted to advertising other local businesses in our community.

Awesome little ice cream spot with the best soft serve I have ever had! The owners and staff are all very friendly, and provide quick service and delicious ice cream for a really good price. Whether you get the regular vanilla, chocolate, or twist, or try one (or two!) of their ever rotating flavors of Dole Whip, you won't be disappointed! Whenever I have a night off from work, I make sure I stop in for another one of their delicious treats! This is one place I highly recommend everyone visit, and do so again and again!

Listen if you have not been to this place you are truly missing out. Always a friendly face with a great smile. The gal that treated us tonight made a recommendation to my husband regarding the strawberry sundae with Bavarian cheesecake I believe it was. Let me tell you he absolutely loved it. Been here a couple times and will continue coming back. For the love of ice cream go check this place out people. You will not be disappointed.

I scream when my wife doesn't stop for Mike & AJ'z ice cream! They serve the thickest and creamiest soft serve ice cream I have ever had, and the dole whips are delicious too! Their prices are very reasonable, and you really do get your money's worth, as they don't skimp on the ice cream or the toppings. I haven't had the chance to try their non-ice cream offerings yet, but I know I won't be disappointed when I do. So be sure to stop by and enjoy one of the many scrumptious creations from this local gem, which just recently reopened for the winter (who says ice cream is only for the summer?)!

First time goung there tonight...and they were very friendly and even made our 4yr old granddaughter feel special by making her a rainbow ice cream which she loved very much. We definitely will go back.
