I would recommend The Fence Company to anyone looking for EXCEPTIONAL CLIENT EXPERIENCE and GREAT QUALITY OF WORK. We researched various companies in the area before choosing to work with Joe, and even though their price cost us a bit more than competitor pricing it was worth every penny because of their courteous communication, professionalism, and how they stood by their finished product from beginning to end. I appreciate how Joe was my point of contact throughout our project and I did not have to worry about a general support line or bouncing around from representative to representative. Joe himself visited for measurements, drawings, supervision of the construction, and post-project questions. His care and concern for our 100% satisfaction made us feel like we could trust his company through thick and thin, and when we required repairs that did not match our project bid he stepped up and helped with changes without any questions asked. Some high winds in April blew down 6 or 7 sections of privacy fence and there were other broken posts in a 200 ft. fence run. The Fence Company gave me a competitive estimate. The crew that arrived (much sooner than anticipated!) did a great job, replacing 22 fence posts and rehanging all the panels in one day. We had a Kentucky 3-board fence installed with multiple gates. Our backyard terrain is very steep and undulating, and the installation team handled it skillfully. Our experience with Gina, Joe, and their team at The Fence Company was excellent. They were professional, personal, and communicative during the bid and installation process, always willing to answer questions and give recommendations. We were impressed with their expertise and the fantastic quality of the installation. They provided an information sheet to guide us through the process including reminders to apply for permits and HOA approval, how to compare bids, why getting a property survey is beneficial, etc. I appreciated how flexible they were. When their teams were busy across multiple projects, they called daily to communicate who would be coming to us and update on the timing of completion. Very unprofessional “company”, canceled an estimate appointment 10 minutes before the scheduled time. Used the old “sudden emergency” lie, even though our home is 45 minutes away. A call could of been placed at any time. More likely than not they forgot about the appointment. Do not use this company, they are lazy.

They did an excellent job at a fair price. They even accommodated my unusual scheduling requests without complaint. I took off one star for poor clean up. All along the fence where the clips were installed there were 2"- 4" inch pieces of fencing material that looked like extra material where the clips were trimmed to fit. I picked up a few dozen of these pieces. They were a potential hazard for any kids or pets in the yard. If I had hit one with my mower it would have done some real damage to either the mower or It could have really hurt someone if it went flying. it was easy enough for me to pick them up but the installers really should have done it.

The Fence Company installed a nice 3 board Kentucky Style fence around my side yard. The installation was quick and painless. However, during the quoting process and selecting the fence style it was never mentioned what side of the fence the wire mesh would be placed. I assumed as the pictures I had seen on the company website the mesh was always placed on the inside. Placing the wire mesh on the inside makes the fence appear more finished from the road. The individuals installing the fence didn't ask either.When I came home from work the wire mesh had been placed on the outside of the fence. When I called to ask why it was placed on the outside and not the inside I was told that they install it either way unless specifically instructed one way or the other. They quoted me an additional $625 plus materials to move the wire mesh from one side of the fence to the other. To make matters worse, I have been issued a notice from the city that the mesh needs to be placed on the inside of the fence. I guess I will end up calling another fencing company to fix The Fence Company's mistake as I don't want to pay them more money to fix their own problem!

Wow, is all I can say. First off you use their online contact me and someone will be in touch 24 hours later (yea, that didn't happen). You have to reach back out to them again and wait another 24 hours. Then when they call you and you explain that the dims of the fence was only based on the tool from their web page and not sure of exact, they get rude and ask if you had another company come out to measure. You tell them no and they tell you well, based on the online, your job is to small for us. So, if you are not looking for a big fence job, don't call them..
