This review is for PNL's dock diving pool only (can't vouch for other services), which was great! Clean and very secure dock, pool and ramp—safe for dogs and humans. The ramp up to the dock is somewhat steep, so grippy, water-friendly shoes are a must. Employee interactions were very nice, from Maggie (?) at the desk, to Sage on the dock, who had the perfect vibe for our "try-it" session. ♥ Dog loved it, human loved it, it was a beautiful day… highly recommend! We'll be back.

We have used Lisa for a couple of years and she always does a fantastic job. She has accommodated our schedule a couple of times, and Lucy always gets so excited when she knows where she’s going and sees her! She’s the best and I will never go anywhere else again!

My puppy absolutely loves this place. The entire staff is so sweet to her. I know for sure they are even when I’m gone because she’s very timid around people, but when we get there she sprints inside to see them. She loves playing with all of her buddies and always comes home happy.

As a first time dog owner, we rely on referrals from friends and neighbors. Five out of five recommended PNL. One referral has been using their services since the start. Having a free trial was really helpful for us, the staff and our pup. While I wish they had live cameras to view what my dog-son is doing, I am comfortable knowing he's being taken care of. I've been impressed by the staff and organization of their dog "schedules". We have done a half day of daycare and it was a nice break for us and I'm sure some fun for our dog (after he got through his jitters).

My mother's older dog had developed an intense fear of going to the groomer. Lisa worked with me to make it as stress-free as possible for him. She truly cared for him, putting his comfort and safety first whilst giving deft, superb service. Thank you, Lisa!

Please please look up destination pet before boarding they own this place. I usually don’t like to post things like this, but I feel like if I don’t animals won’t be safe. Let me also say that I have worked at a good animal place too so when I say this I say it because more than likely the other kennel techs have voiced this too and no one higher up cared enough to make changes. This place runs under destination pet. They also own Pawllywood where one guy literally put small dogs on a leash and lassoed them above his head. They will not listen to the kennel techs. Sometimes they only have one person in the back which is incredibly unsafe especially when the techs have to work with dogs that are aggressive towards people. It’s a chain place that couldn’t care less for service. Some of their policy’s are to have certain dogs left on a leash outside. One of those dogs almost got choked out after the leash got caught on a dumpster. Under no circumstances should a dog be left on leash (not a tie down) by themselves period. Even when techs ask for help management will not come in. Grooming is fine but there business model for boarding is horrible in some states it isn’t even legal for only one person to watch x number of dogs in a group. If they even bothered to have someone watch them at all in group on that day. You’d think the pawllywood incident would be enough to make sure no one was left alone, but I guess not. This is NOT a family owned business lots of turnover because of there businesses model you have no idea who is watching your dog. There’s a good chance they’ve already been left there alone with someone who hasn’t even been in the animal industry that long. This is not good service and it’s not safe for the techs either. Listen to your techs. I wouldn’t leave my dog here I’m not paying money for him to be left outside by a dumpster. I’ve had other dogs that would get into trash so that’s another thing that believe customers should know. Also clean the freakin dryer vent pipe get someone out there to do it pet places have caught on fire because stuff like that was neglected. May not seem like a big deal but dogs have died at other places because that was neglected.In four states it is the law to have a 1:15 ratio of staff to dogs. Sometimes in the back it’s 1:30 or sometimes even 0:30. There is no max that I have been told for this place. Keep in mind that’s not the total number of dogs for today. Places like this use loopholes fives yards could be actively used with only one person and it is not possible to watch all of them at the same time.Other places under the same parent company have also at times been temporarily closed due to not meeting inspections.They also straight up lie about how many times the dogs go out on the site too. 4 times most days for maybe a decent amount of time if there’s enough people rarely ever 5.

This review is for the groomer, Lisa. I have never needed boarding services. My dog is a short-haired 3 year old, dachshund (14 lbs) and only needs nail trims here.I have been taking my dog, Oakley, here for a while now. Ever since I got him as a puppy, groomers in the past have always had difficulty. We went to the vet groomer when I first got him and he hated it every single time. I could hear him from the waiting area. The last straw was when one of the vet assistants brought Oakley back to me and told me he hates getting his nails done. He said the groomer was unable to get all the nails. So, I decided to look for someone else to do them because that was just unacceptable. He is just a 14 lb dachshund. hahaI tried doing the nails myself and he would move his foot before I could do it. haha I also tried other groomers and he just wouldn't settle for them. I could feel the nerves or frustration from these other people, so I get it.I looked around some more and finally found Lisa at Pet Nation. I was told she is the best and I couldn't agree more. I told Lisa that I was told he is difficult and to avoid using the Dremel to grind his nails. She suggested I started with coming in every two weeks to get his nails down to a good length. She did her stuff and said he was a great dog. I told her the other groomers said he was difficult. She didn't agree at all with this assessment.Fast forward to now. He goes every 3 weeks. I tell him we are going for a car ride to see Lisa and he is pumped to see her. He runs to his gear and runs straight to the car. He wags his tail when he sees Lisa and she calls him her buddy. He can handle the Dremel now (she started slow with him on this, but he got there) and he gets his front paw ready for her by raising it once he hits the table. She told me other groomers can be rough and she just goes easy on the dog. She lets them come to her. I highly recommend Lisa. She has been amazing and a life changer.

This place is absolutely terrible people pay good money for dog daycare and the dog are only out 8 to 10 minutes in the morning then 8 to 10 minutes in the afternoon in a 7 hours span that is all these dogs get to play with other dogs . I worked here recently and I know exactly what goes on. It's not a safe place to board because the back door doesn't lock .

We love, Lisa! I have two 12 year old cocker spaniels that I groom myself through out the year and the only other person that’s ever groomed them is Lisa. She is my savior, and does the difficult feet trimming for winter that I can’t do. We love her so much. We travel 30 miles when there are local places literally across the street. You can’t replace the tender experience and the familiarity that you get with Lisa! She is top-tier.

This was my first experience boarding my cat, let alone leaving her overnight, and it was for 10 days! The staff was very helpful in answering all of my questions and showing where she’d be staying. While I would have liked to receive more “report card” updates, I could tell that she was in good hands! They had such high praise for her, were incredibly happy and friendly about how my cat was doing, and even let me stop in and play with her while I had a day off between my trips. May have to take her back just for the fun!

Pet Nation Lodge is fantastic! We use Lisa’s Grooming for our fur babies and couldn’t be more thrilled with how our babies look!! This place smells so bad. I brought my friends kitties to have their nails trimmed. I was told the first day with the first kittie. That I did not need an appointment for a nail trim. I specifically asked when I entered. All went well. The girl behind the desk was very nice.The second day, I was given a lecture about making an appointment. Even though no one was there for grooming services and explained I was told by the owner of the cats and the receptionist the first day, that no appointment was needed. But the woman continued to lecture me. I explained again that these were not my cats and I wouldn't be coming back. And that I had been told no appointment necessary. I did ask the receptionist when I came the first day. But I guess this other older woman felt she had to continue her lecture any way. The place smells so bad it was hard for me to sit there and wait while the cats nails were clipped. Luckily the woman who does the grooming is very quick. She is also sweet. But I would not take my pets there for sure. Between the rude receptionist the second day, and the smell. No way.

Pet Nation Lodge has been nothing but perfect for our anxious cattle dog Sophie. She cannot be with other dogs, so she is able to be solo at their location. The staff understand her and she always comes out happy. You even get a report card about how she is doing at the end of the stay. We have had not so great experiences at other locations where she is so stressed she get gastritis and mouth sores. This is not the case at Pet Nation. Sadly we are moving but we would have otherwise used Pet Nation forever!

Lisa has been grooming my dogs for years. She does a wonderful job! My dogs always come away sparkling clean and happy. She is such a kind, caring person. I highly recommend her. Plus, staff at Pet Nation's front desk are always friendly and polite. This is a great place to take your dogs.

**Edit*- I'm adding to this review that my dog was just diagnosed with kennel cough 3 days after spending the week at Pet Nation Lodge. DO NOT EVER SEND YOUR DOGS HERE, PEOPLE!!!!*I would not recommend Pet Nation Lodge to anyone. We boarded our dog for the first time and were very unhappy with their service. A few days into our trip we asked for an update on how she was doing. I sent emails and called multiple times and we did not get a response for 2 days. The update we finally got was 2 short sentences long. They claim their phones and email were down. When we picked her up I expressed my concern about a lack of ability to communicate for 2 days and the staff was rude, defensive and gave a weak apology laden with excuses. I will not be treated like that again and no one else deserves that either. My dog also smelled SO bad despite having apparently been bathed before pickup.

Scheduled a dock diving lesson for my dog. Sent over all the necessary documents. Called an hour before our appointment to confirm and everything was good. Got there at our scheduled time and had to wait on someone else to finish on the dock. After that we were told the trainer hadn’t shown up that day. There were multiple opportunities to let us know before that and no one said anything. Complete waste of my time. No one from this business attempted to follow up so that shows how much they care. There is 0 chance I or my dog will ever come back to this place.

Oakley loves it a at your place! He loves the staff in the back and at the front desk and it’s obvious that they love him too. They are glad to feed him the special diet I make for him, and this is important to me. I’m grateful to have a place where I feel good about leaving him for a week at a time, a couple times a year. Kudos to Pet Nation for a job well done.
