A Fortunate Dog Spa is The Red Door of spas in dog terms. Wow! They are amazing. I adopted an Irishdoodle and she was full of mats. Karla's team had her looking like a show dog when it was all done. Their compassion and ability to be gentle with a scared two year old was amazing. I'm so grateful for them.....

The owner and staff at A Fortunate Dog Spa truly care about the animals they work with along with their owners. My mother’s Shih-Tzus had a clean fresh grooming and they assisted her getting them back out to the car. 100% recommended!

I took my very matted 7 month Yorkie, she is a wild child, would not let me groom her.She would wiggle and get away from me I am 72I thought they would give up on her.They did a fantastic job I would definitely recommend them.

I have been taking my girl, Luna here for years! Karla and her staff are the BEST of the best. I moved farther away and still bring Luna here because this is the only place that I trust. Luna HATES being groomed and the staff here are so kind and patient with her (and me hehe). Thank you for being so good to my little best friend <3

Can't Say Enough! My dog is soooooooo excited to go to the groomer! They love Hemi like a superstar! He was rescued from the pound and super scared and timid about being there the first time we went, but each time afterward, he can't wait to get inside to be loved on! We rescued him from being forgotten. They rescued his trust in new people and places! Thanks for loving Hemi as much as we do! Update....Still as happy as ever with place! Even more than ever!

Gizmo has been going here for 12 years. You can find places a little cheaper but I don't know anyone better than Carla and her staff. As I have told her before. Anyone can take shears and cut his hair, but here he comes out looking like someone put thought and effort into his grooming.

Karla and her team are the best in the country! I would never consider going anywhere else. Karla is very knowledgeable on all breeds and knowing specifically what each breed requires and provides a very personalized service. My dog is always so excited to go to the groomer, she enjoys it! Fair prices, nice people, nice facility, always a perfect cut what more could you ask for. Keep up the good work!

Hands down the best grooming facility in the greater Cincinnati area. Karla and her associates are loving, caring people who will go above and beyond to make you AND your dog feel welcome and appreciated. My dogs go to the 'spa' every 5 weeks. Their teeth are cleaned, they look so cute and smell wonderful! The cuts are a perfect fit for the dogs. A wonderful place for your companions!!

Don’t recommend…Karla is rude and has no customer service skills. If your dog requires too much work, she fires you. She wants you to bring her groomed dogs so that it’s easy for her and her staff.

Miss Karla and her team provide the best service and care to our dogs. They are loving to our fur babies and when we pick them up they look like muppets and feel & smell so good. I only wish it would last longer, but our fur babies live full and adventurous lives, which entails lots of mud puddles. I trust no one else to hand over our dogs for grooming.

Absolutely the best place for dog grooming. We have taken all of our dogs there. Each time they have come home with such soft fur, smelling great, and all trimmed up. We have tried several other places around town and had between mediocre and awful experiences. We've never once had a problem or issue while taking any of our dogs to A Fortunate Dog Spa. We've been happy customers for over 4 years and will continue to go for as long as we have pets!

I have been to many dog grooming places and this is by far the best. You may pay a little more but it will be well worth it. My border collies come back happy dogs. My older dog would shake going into the groomer (a sign of mistreatment). She does not do that going into A Fortunate Dog Spa. The owner and staff are wonderful people as well. Who wouldn't like an aromatherapy treatment while at the spa?!?

I have been taking my Yorkie to Carla & her wonderful crew since I moved here in 2013. My Yorkie loves them & I love them. As soon as I mention we are going to see Carla, Sine cannot contain herself. Sine is so beautifully cut, her coat is brilliant & so soft. Carla & her team worked with Sine over a period of time so she would allow them to cut & trim her nails calmly. The priority was to make the nail trimming a positive experience for Sine. Carla's patience & love of dogs won. Sine now allows the trimming without fuss. I cannot say enough about how fantastic Carla & her group are & how confident I am in leaving Sine with them.

Great grooming service. I take my two yorkies here every 8 weeks for a complete grooming package and they always look so good afterwords. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place!

Our precious animal, Brett, had allergies that required weekly shampoos and heavy maintenance of his golden retriever beautiful coat to keep hot spots from being created by him as no antibiotic was effective on them for him. Karla, Nicole and the team at Fortunate Dog Spa were such a TERRIFIC partner to Brett & our family to keep him healthy & happy during his days with us. At 11 1/2 years old, he developed stomach cancer and we just had to let him go as he went down quickly this week. But, his last several years, the Fortunate Dog team treated him so beautifully and he really enjoyed being groomed as evidenced when he strutted around after full groomings! The Angels Paws vet tech who came to our home yesterday to relieve Brett's pain and let him go even commented what a beautiful coat he had-----much of that due to the care from Fortunate Dog. Thanks for everything Karla and team----
