Very friendly staff here. I looked everywhere in Alliance for a blower motor belt for my furnace. Nobody had them, but this store did. I've never walked into a store that has such a friendly welcoming, and helpful staff. These people deserve a raise.

Great hardware store with knowledgeable employees who are willing to help with any of your questions. A few years back I bought a craftsman chainsaw, and the box that I picked up was the storage box and chainsaw cover for the model on display. This was my fault for not realizing how light weight it was, and should have checked it first before I went to check out. I didn’t realize until a week later when I unboxed the chainsaw only to find the storage box empty. Much to my embarrassment and relief, when I brought it back to Metzger’s they were able to quickly verify the mishap and I was in and out of the store in 10 minutes. Needless to say, this store and its employees are exceptional in what they do.

I have some boy wear the mix synthetic oil is he was too busy talking to a girl that works there went back to the back asked the boy where the mix synthetic oils at he wasn't for sure if it was full synthetic or not he had to go in the back and ask somebody and they didn't know for sure. I'll never buy anything else here

People and service are awesome. Ace products just aren't very good, So service and employees are fantastic but anything that says ace on it is pretty much garbage. Try to avoid the ace name and you should be good

I came into this store in the first week of August to order a cable for a lawnmower. It is now the middle of November, every time I call its "Oh its not here yet, yeah they take forever to send our stuff out" no update, no tracking, no cable, dont waste your damn time

Nice place to shop for the tool that you need now. I take all my mower blades chainsaw chains and trimmers to be sharpened there. Prices are very reasonable. And done in a reasonable amount of time.

My clerk had about the personality of a dead dog. No matter how I tried to joke with him or be nice I received monotone answers or no recognition at all. Most of the time everyone is very nice. I guess he was having a bad day.Update to post: went there again because lots of time they have things that you can't find somewhere else. Again I had a person on the floor that had a less than stellar personality. Customer service doesn't seem to be a big deal to any company anymore though. I did get what I went there for though and that was the important part.

Been going here my whole life. Has everything you need for any small home project. Also have a nice lawn mower section with anything you'd need for a tractor or push mower. Staff is very polite and knowledgeable. Great experience everytime I go. Great small town hardware store!

(There were at least three additional local businesses- all with either poor customer service or no customer service-who were unable to assist in finding the correct tool for the job.) I try to avoid shopping here unless I need something quick. The checkout ladies are rude everytime I shop there. I have worked retail before and realize working with the public is not always easy, but I'm friendly to all cashiers because I have been in their shoes, so I'm not sure why they are unpleasant.

Easy access to the building. Plenty of parking with handicapped spaces. Many items to choose from. There is always someone walking around to help you if you need it. Prices are reasonable with some items high but mostly comparable to local hardware stores. I've purchased several items throughout the years such as paint, electrical, plumbing, gardening, and tools. I've had chainsaw blades sharpened and keys made. I would reccomend this home supply store.

I come here for everything. It's super convenient if you live in Louisville. They always have whatever it is I'm looking for. Great staff. The register ladies are as nice as can be and the folks on the floor actually know what's going on. Someone always has an answer.

We've been going here for years. This is a fantastic little store and Scott in the paint department is the best employee of any place I have ever been ever! The man knows his paint and is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. I hope he is recognized by ACE for his awesome service to his company because this guy is seriously making you look good!
