Great place, friendly, and convenient. Had to have Bear allergy tested because of ongoing ear infections and skin issues around his eyes. We found out he is allergic to almost every protein and most grasses. I have him on a special diet, meds, and no more skin issues or crying out because of ear aches!

Always there when we need them! Good advise for our animals. We've used their services since -1993. Dr. Hannah came highly recommended and was awesome in an emergency situation that could have been bad. When I came in the next day the staff that took care of me were very friendly and kind. Pricing was not too bad either. All were also very knowledgeable and helpful. Luna and I highly recommend them. Even though I was on vacation and far from home it didn't matter to them what mattered to them was my puppy! Thank you Dr. Hannah and team! What you did was appreciated and will be remembered!

Bylands used to be a great practice where everyone could tell that the staff and vets cared. Over the years, the small animal side of things began to suffer, and now, if you have a sick pet or need emergency care, you need to be prepared to wait at least a week for an appointment. Clients have even been turned away with a sick <week old puppy, the Dr. stated "that she didn't have time to deal with it". That puppy died the next day because she didn't receive the proper care in a timely manner.There are staffing and scheduling issues with many places, but patient care should not suffer because of it. Many vets these days will save an appointment slot or two for sick pets or they'll do what they can to fit them in during the day, as drop offs. Instead of finding ways to accommodate more - or at least existing - Bylands has cut afternoon appointment times.I'm sure Bylands will continue to be a great vet as long as your dog or cat requires nothing more than routine vaccines, spay/neuter or routine dental care that can be scheduled months in advance.I would suggest that even if you are a long time client of 20-30 years that you have an account with another veterinarian office and take your pets there once a year for a physical so they are "active" patients. This at the very least gives you an additional option for immediate care should an emergency arise.Be safe out there, and I hope for the sake of all current and future patients, Bylands Animal Hospital will get their internal workings back together and small animal care will not continue to suffer.

Honestly my family uswd them several years ago to put down our family horse and the vet that came out was extremely rude. So ive only had to use them when i absolutely since. But recently in 2021 our family dog was in an accident and unfortunately didnt make it and the staff was wonderful.

My first visit was my saddest visit but it couldn't have been handled better and more professional. My 11 year old F5 Rainbow Red Coat Bangle cat Became tragically ill and I had to make the choice to end his suffering. Im still destroyed by the loss of my best friend but this place was so caring towards me. They explained everything as I held him and pet him for the last time. They explained every single procedure and offered me a clay paw print for keepsake. I was allowed to hold him in my arms as they administered the two shots and they allowed me to stay and mourne as long as I needed, and it was a while. They took him when I was ready, wrapped him in a towel and placed his body in my carrier so I could bury him somewhere I can always visit. I truly appreciate this place, it's staff and doctors and my best friend for helping me thru this horrible event. Thank you all for your kindness and consideration and time. I know I was a hot mess.
