Worst groomer ever! Seriously look at my teacup yorkie! Look at the black still around her eyes! That was one of the main reasons I set up the appointment! I kept cleaning them! I paid extra for the deluxe shampoo and conditioner! She never got! I was just emailed by another store welcoming me to their store that is how this is being handled! Very professional right! UPDATE: They are trying to make things right they are giving her a free Spa treatment along with the deluxe shampoo and conditioner I paid for!

I get my pups nails trimmed at Lorain PSP because Gloria is always so sweet with my 2 pups. She does a great job! The employees are always friendly and helpful. Derek went out of his way to help me with carts that were stuck together today. I highly recommend this store!

I had my dog groomed with Simone. She was friendly and loved my dog. The bath and haircut service was quick but thorough, and reasonably priced. I would definitely bring my pup back here again.

Great employees, fish tanks are almost always clean (some dead fish, but normal shipping stuff). If an employee doesn't know something, they won't tell you they do. Rather, they'll let you know they don't know and ask another associate ( I love that!). We recently got a second ferret from them too, and he's as happy and healthy as can be!!

Very nice, always open when I need. Curb side is nice and they have cats again for adoption right now. They always have a nice selection of food and toys

It's a clean and well stocked pet supplies plus. If you need pet things and are in the area, this is as good an option as any. Workers were friendly as well.

Visited on1/23/24 to get some fish, for aquarium. ALL the tanks were all disgusting, filthy, dead fish piled on each other. I asked a employee about a betta. She had no clue about any fish. Went to Meijer's. Fish therewere nice and cheaper.

Went in for my small dog to get washed and nails cut .. the girl wasn’t that friendly instead of taking the dog and having me fill out the paperwork she gave me I had to kneel on the floor trying to sign paperwork and control my dog .. 20 minutes in they call me saying they washed her but couldn’t cut her nails due to her having diarrhea and throwing up but said don’t worry it didn’t get on the dog but then why didn’t her nails get cut and I still paid 25 and tipped for a half job and lazy excuses.. p.s she didn’t have the runs or throwingup when I had her so just a story on her end

They always have what I need for my pets so that saves me from going to multiple stores to find what I'm looking for. I know I can find it here and get in and get out. Employees are very helpful and friendly as well.

This was our home store! We moved. They know us, our pets and seemed a bit sad we moved. We have garnered a lot of information on all our animals from one person or another. They really love animals here. We got our bearded 🐉 here, our Betta and Pleco. We have also bought 75-80% of our puppies needs here as well.

Sold us an already used fish filter that didn’t work. I’m not sure if it’s one that someone else returned or what. But the manager refused to swap out or give money back! This is why I prefer local owned pet stores! Now I’m out of money !!! Only giving one star because I can’t give zero!

Today I went in and adopted a ferret to bond with my other. Cage was disgusting and the ferrets didn’t look very happy. I adopted a girl who they said was 2 months old. She was good for the first few hours til she was laying on me and her breathing seemed off. After setting her in the cage she thew up what appeared to be rubber pieces… if anyone knows ferrets they love to chew and eat rubber which can easily destroy their digestive systems… so they shouldn’t of even had that in there. These people should be taking care of these animals like their own children. Especially since most of the animals they have in there are babies (1 year or under) never go here…(attached is photo of what she threw up..)

My grandparents brought their chihuahua in for a quick nail trim and they were told by the girls in grooming that they do not accept chihuahuas for grooming. They have brought their dog there multiple times before. Wow

Gave our pups a bath. They need to have the hose fixed it sprayed water everywhere. The towels were so thin but we could use as many as we needed. Staff was friendly & helpful.

Had a terrible interaction with a rude girl who didn't seem at all interested in ringing me up. I waited nearly ten minutes in an empty store for an employee to come out of the back and when she did she was huffing and sighing like I was bothering her. The reason for the 5 stars is that I returned the next day for an additional item, and was told by management that they heard about the issue and they were very sorry it happened. They asked if there was anything they could do to rectify it. I declined. However, thats all it took for me to see that there IS someone here that cares and understands customer relations. An apology goes a long way.

I often go to this Pet Supplies Plus to get my dogs groomed, sometimes pick up dog and cat supplies, and I have sometimes used the VIP Pet Care service they have most Saturdays.The grooming salon there has been great with my dogs. I have beagle mixes so they get their nails trimmed and when I don't feel like bathing them at home, I get them a bath and brush here.I buy my cat's food there - Redford Naturals Salmon Recipe. I also get the per pound dog treats sometimes and I have no complaints.The VIP Pet Care service on Saturdays is a great option for vaccines and sometimes medications depending on your vet. My dog had a regular vet appointment last October but her rabies wasn't due yet so we didn't get it then. It just expired and the vet wanted us to pay for another office visit in addition to the vaccine so I went to the VIP Pet Care clinic instead. The rabies shot cost $42 for my dog.

The Lorain store had many varieties of Blue dog food. An associate walking through the aisle noticed I needed help, so he helped me get two bags of 50-lb. bags into the cart and then loaded them into my car. (I didn't even have to ask.) This saved my husband and son from having to take a trip to the store with me. Go where people will help you!
