We are fixing up the house that we just bought, and so far everyone that we've encountered has been so nice! Especially the guy in the paint department. I think his name was Andreas? He matched two colors for me and helped me get all of the paint supplies that I needed. He put up with all of my dumb questions lolAnd the woman in the counter/kitchen area, I forgot her name. She helped me decide on if I wanted corbels or wood posts for the breakfast bar we had installed by a friend!

Nice large clean store with ample employees for assistance in every section. However, they don't pay for cashiers. You do it yourself, without an employee discount.

I ordered a new front door in June. Friday the 1st, was the fourth attempt at getting it installed. And all 4 times the door was dented. Totally fed up, totally unprofessional, and now I'm going to try and get some answers from customer service "again". Last time she told me they can't talk to me about getting a dis ount until the door was installed. ?!?!?? OVER IT. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND LOWES TO ANYONE"

I LOVE going to home improvement stores, like Lowe's!! I always get great ideas for what I want to do to my home. If they paid their employees more, I'd probably try to get a job there because people are typically happy when I see them at Lowe's or another home improvement store. I haven't been to Menards yet either, but I heard they have a great selection too. I like to stay local to the city I live in though, but I wouldn't mind giving to browse and see what they have. The prices at Lowe's are pretty good too.

When I need help, most of the time, I can't find it, and no one answers the call button. However, when I do find the help and nor feel like I put them out of their way, it's a relatively pleasant experience.

Had a gas dryer installed in February. Was smelling gas. Called Columbia gas. They said it was not properly installed and leaking gas. They fixed the problem

Terrible experience nobody knew anything about what I was looking for ( Fabric for a yard swing that I bought there)and sent me all over the store to different departments that didn't have what I needed, didn't even want to try and see if replacement material could be ordered, they just didn't care, really poor customer service. They definitely need a manager.

Primarily itemized the garden center. I was happy with the selection and prices. For late May, all of the plants being sold were healthy and a good size. Most prices were clearly marked, which makes shopping less stressful. My mom and I had two carts with our stuff mixed up, which was probably a bit confusing for the cashier. But she was very relaxed about it and rang us out quickly with no issues. I wish they had more lawn/garden decor available, it felt very sparse this year… but that’s likely more of a corporate supply issue than this specific store.

Big store, they have a little of everything. The salespeople were friendly the cashiers were fast. I did not see any areas to charge cars. But they do allow behaved dogs in the store.

I have had the absolute worst experience with this Lowes on multiple occasions. Most recently I had a fence installed through Lowes. The fence is beautiful and it actually went up quicker than I anticipated. I was disappointed to see huge piles of dirt left near each post that was dug and gaps around the posts after the project was complete. There were leftover materials and I was told they would be picked up by Lowes and I would be refunded for any unused materials within 3 days or so. The materials were picked up on Monday May 8, 2023 (after calling multiple times to arrange pick up). Today is Thursday June 1, 2023 and I still have yet to receive a refund. Additionally, I discovered last week that there are two large piles of quickcrete that the installers had spilled. One pile is in the middle of my driveway and another at the bottom of a side entrance stair case. I contacted Lowes installation and they reached out to the install company. I was told on May 24th that someone would contact me within 2 business days to come out and clean up quickcrete and rake the dirt. I have yet to be contacted. When I reached out to the installers they shared that Lowes closed to request for approval and the installers are now in the process of creating another work order to get these issues resolved.This has been an absolute nightmare. The communication between the store and the customer, and the store and the installers is nonexistent. As I mentioned before, this is not the first issue I have had with this Lowes and because of this ongoing issue I will never shop here again. I will continue to wait for my material refund and for the installers to come address the dirt and concrete. Just not sure how long I will have to continue to wait.I would give zero stars if I could.

Lots to choose from in the garden center. I had a hard time making choices. Associates were very helpful in helping me load the cart with mulch. They volunteered; I didn't ask for help. The cashier was also quite helpful. The store is very clean and well organized. I had no trouble finding what I needed.

Love this location. Staff is knowledgeable. I started going to this location simply because I live so close. But now I go because of the friendliness of staff as well as convenience. Other locations seem hit or miss.

I WILL NEVER SHOP LOWES AGAIN!!!We ordered 100 sheets of drywall and 13 buckets of drywall mud on June 14th scheduled for June 20th Delivery. They call yesterday and tell me that the driver called off and they couldn't find anyone else to bring it and reschedule for today June 21st driver calls when he is only 10 mins away, says he can not put the drywall in the garage with his machine only the driveway. I advised that's not what the lady told me yesterday said she was sending someone with him to help unload it and they know nothing about it. LOWES HIRE BETTER MANAGERS!!!Sincerely,Your old customer

Appliance Buyer Beware Lowes Lorain store has terrible customer service. I purchased a new Frigidaire dishwasher. I was told by Devin that we could receive it faster if we took delivery from their distribution warehouse. I agreed to have it delivered directly to my home. It arrived on a Friday and looked fine on the outside of the packaging. It took until Wednesday the next week to get it installed. It did not work. The instructions inside say to call the manufacturer not the store. I called Frigidaire and they arranged Mr Appliance to come and inspect it. It was determined it has severe damage and leaked water through the cabinet. It is not reparable. I returned to the store with the report and pictures. I was told “We cannot do anything because it was bought at our distribution center. I was told the distribution center cannot be contacted. I asked for the Manger, Ken came over and told me the return policy is 2 days or less. Sorry you must figure it out on your own. I asked him to help, and he said sorry its not our policy to help! Stay away from this store, they have no idea what customer service is. It has now been three weeks and I am still trying to get help from the manufacturer who does not care either.

My husband and I purchased a refrigerator on 7/29/22. It was scheduled for delivery 7/31/22 a Sunday. Delivery status said delayed. We get a call saying it will be there by 8 pm. We never received our refrigerator. To make matters worse they NEVER rescheduled. We have spent hours on the phone with customer care and in person at store. Everyone says we dropped the ball or we have never seen this happen before but NO ONE will fix the problem. We are told that the distribution manager has to fix it and they have messaged him. So basically if you purchase from Lowes and they don’t have it in stock in store you are at the mercy of a distribution center that may or may not deliver. This has been a horrible experience. They have our money and will not deliver product.

If this store can not find staff to run the registers then they should shut the doors. The want you to check out your own purchases. Complained and was told they were short staffed. How is this the customers problem?I was also told that all the stores are doing the self check outs including Home Depot. Not true, Menards in Avon does not and the Home Depots always have a cashiers open, unlike this Lowes.

I’ve been shopping at this store for a long time and it’s by far the best place to shop…I own my own electrical business and purchase a large part of my supplies from them and also do all my home repairs from this location…never have had any issues with returns or replacement

The store, staff, inventory, quality & garden center was so much better than Home Depot!! Beautifully arranged easy to find quality horticulture. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Offers nice veterans discount & respectful, thanked for service. Problem with a return inside main store but the Lead, Michele, solved with courtesy. No more Home Depot. This is my home improvement store from now on.

Lowes (amherst). Appliance sale was great. Normally would have bought online, but talked to an employee named Sam in appliances. He was absolutely knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Could not have asked for a better experience. Just went back and bought a refrigerator from Sam. Easy.

This store has really gone down hill. Every single curbside order I have placed in the last year has been full of headaches and frustration. If you go in there is always a half dozen workers atleast standing around talking among each other or playing on their phones and if you do ask for help more so then not the answer you get is "I don't know"

I bought a curtain and went home then I realized that need to be cutting, so I went back and go thru customer service, one lady was on the register and another guy was jus right there neither of them even look at me I was jus three feet away from them wait for couple of minutes they even bought in greeting me also another guy come and I asked him if he can help me and he just right away even let me finish what I was going to say interrupt me and said no ma’am I can’t help you I just come here looking for something, I keep talking and finish what I was going to said over him and then he realized that actually he can help me and he did it, actually I think they should training better there employees to be multitasking and know how can greeting a customer and keep doing what they was doing without affect your customer service
