If I could give zero stars I would. The first time I came to the store a few weeks ago the employees most definitely just got done getting a quicky in. They were also stoned out their minds. I came again this evening and the worker with the dreads, same guy from a few weeks ago locked the doors before closing. It’s only 9:40 pm and the store closes at 10:00 pm. Not sure how these employees are still employed.

These people are ridiculous.....store is usually a mess, they can't be bothered to answer the phone, or hang it up so it doesn't ring busy constantly, they don't care about having family or friends in the store and talking so loudly or cussing like everyone cant hear them. It's just rude and uncalled for. Not only those things but most of the time they are on a "break" and smoking right outside the door and the store smells like ciggs, cigars or pot! and the parking lot is gross too with their ciggs or customers all over or garbage.

Probably the most disgusting store I’ve ever been into. Smells of something between cigar and cigarettes. There’s piles and carts and boxes absolutely everywhere. The cashier was talking so loudly on the phone that I now know how to reinstate an employee to Dollar Generals payroll system. This store does absolutely nothing for the reputation of other Dollar General stores.

The employees at this location lack the very basics of customer service. The cashier didn’t even say hello, but rather continued an entire conversation on her phone while it was on speaker as she was ringing me out. Absolutely rude!

I am so tired of going there and having to walk through the smell of a cigarette / cigar!! The women that work there sit right outside the store door and smoke, it's freaking disgusting and against the law! If it continues I will be contacting the proper authorities.

Most dollar generals are just about the same. Which, isn't a bad thing. But, at the same time, it's nice to see this particular one, though similar, has some pretty nice and good things that I haven't seen at other dollar generals. In some cases, I haven't even seen some items I picked up, at other stores at all. Of any kind. Surprising to find something you've been searching for, for a vast amount of time, to just casually come across it, at this particular store. Of all the DG's this one seems to be the most effective at providing useful products, and some rarities you won't find at other locations, be it dollar generals, or otherwise. Very well maintained.

Since new management has taken over this location has improved by leaps and bounds! It's almost as if the store had been remodeled since my last visit. The store manager was a very nice lady, very helpful and very courteous. Will return for my 5 off 25 coupon

The store is great, if you like window shopping. A afternoon/evening run to this location is a hit or miss. I’ve made several runs to this location just to be disappointed, early evening and they’re closed.

Worst place ever!The cashier (Black lady) waited on a black man with a full cart full of stuff that was at register that light was turned OFF first. While I had to wait with only 2 items while I was at register with light ON. Absolutely makes no sense, except the fact that I am white and not black! Ridiculous!

Love Dollar General, to me it's the mall, now days people can't afford to be spending money that they don't have, like me, so I go here alot, the prices are great and the workers are great too, you need something all you have to do is ask

I frequently shop at the DG on W. Erie Ave., along with DG on Levitt Rd on the West side of Lorain. I'm always greeted with a welcoming smile as I step into the front door (W. Erie DG even greets me by name) Clerks and managers are eager to help, great prices deserve a 5 Star 🌟

Aisles cluttered-staff unloading stock in disorganized messy manner. One employee got upset with a customer for shopping in an aisle she was stocking. Messy. Slow ring outs also.
