Under staffed and undersized. The same goes for every single dollar general within 100 mile radius. These stores were cluttered and unorganized long before covid or people "unwilling" to work. Take a look at the photos I added. And sadly, this is the normal for every Dollar General in the area. Literally carts and boxes throughout the entire store in the way of anything and everything you are there shopping for. Since when did it become the publics responsibility to move carts and boxes to get the items they are there for? This has become way out of hand. I refuse to shop at any Dollar General anymore, and I'm surprised as many people put up with this as they do. The store needs to be doubled in size to accommodate all the items they've decided to sell. Double your store size or cut your inventory in half. These places are a dump.

The staff do the best they can with what they're working with. All the management personnel are fabulous to speak with.When society doesn't want to work, and every place is hiring, we can't expect perfection everywhere we go. The staff do a great job keeping up :)

Beware of DG in Lisbon. Make sure to check the sale prices against what you have actually been charged. Was there yesterday and left angry. One item was 2/&4 and was charged 2/$5. Then had to take all four items back in store and get them refunded and then rang up again to get $1 back. Two separate people. Then another item Oreo cookies. The sign on the shelf says save $1 when spending $5. Does not say $5 worth of cookies. So I used my digital coupon on my phone. Was save $1 if you buy two cookies. So I went back and bought second cookie. Then was an ordeal to get my $1 back. Now maybe you are saying $1 is not worth the hassle but it is the principle. Between the two of us we were overcharged $3. Had to fight and argue to get our money back. Now think about this. If 50 people shopped there in one day that is $50 -$100 that DG stole from shoppers. This is unacceptable. Done shopping there.

Stopped here a few days ago.. this store is a mess. Things just thrown all over.So many items not in stock, empty boxes just laying everywhere.Cluttered!!Clothing outside while it was raining (all of their clothing since their remodel)- who's going to shop for clothing while the clothing.and themselves are getting wet????This store really needs help.

My adult son and I were shopping. I had a special needs customer with us. Son was going in and out the store 3 times. Once to hold the door open for several people, once to run out and help an elderly woman with her cart, and once to get my purse I requested from the car. The young manager woman yelled that he was loitering and inferred he was stealing, by going in and out. I went up and yelled at her that she was WAY out of line. She called the police! It was so rediculous he said we might as well leave, nothing going on. I was really disgusted they'd treat regular customers this way. Also, corporate sided with their employee in the most ridiculous way. Wow. Go there, and when you do Absolutely nothing wrong, you are at fault. Family Dollar has friendly people!

The young girl at the register was very inconvenienced by how many items I had purchased and was not afraid to express it... multiple times! I found it VERY rude. I will not name names, but management may want to reiterate how important BETTER customer service is.I will take my business elsewhere even though at one time I spent alot of money in this store.

Produce was really nasty. Bagged salads were mushy and rotten. Coolers were empty. Store shelves were empty. I recommend the one in Salem on the bypass. It's always clean and well stocked.

I prefer not to purchase anything that is frozen or refrigerated because they don't rotate their products very well. I have seen actual gray meats and have showed them and they just say "sorry" and toss it in the back.

A man name Randy was a little brat today. I went into store with my grandson and one of his friends. When we was checking out...the friend put her stuff up first to ring out. Five small items. She took her bag as he was rining up my stuff. He got verbal...because she took the bag. That's a waste of a bag. Isaid; It's a one cent bag and she not going to the same house. Just do your job. If looks could kill we would all be dead.

There consistent with products once you know one you know them all there trying to have one in every town even very rural areas and there doing a good job at that saves from going all the way to Walmart .

One of my regular shopping places for household cleaning products and personal hygiene products. While you can't get all your grocery needs, it's worth stopping by and taking advantage of the cheaper prices on breakfast foods and sale items before going to do your major shopping.

Lisbon store looked like someone turned a kindergarten class loose in the store to stock the shelves. Everywhere I looked items in disarray, misc. items on the wrong shelf, wrong aisle, laying on the floor. Not like most of the Dollar General stores I have been in.

We do not shop the family dollar the manager is very rude. We stick to the dollar general and they are wonderful.
