Today was our first visit to Top Shelf Grooming and our West Highland Terrier looks (and smells!) fantastic! The staff was extremely nice, knowledgeable and they were incredibly kind to our dog (who isn't always kind in return, especially if you touch her feet.) Excited that we found a great groomer to stick with!

I have taken my Keeshond whiskey here for a full groom for a while now and they always take excellent care of him! He looks great when he comes home & I know he is spoiled while he is there! I suggest these guys to everyone, because they treat each animal that comes through the door like it’s their own pet! Take your furbabies here for a spa day!

Our straight haired bernedoodle had his first grooming experience today. I am beyond pleased with the way he looks!! I was so worried he would look like he got shaved but NO, he looks like he got trimmed up! And his coat is so shiny and soft! We will be back. Kody Bear looks great.

This was my first time here. I had called 2 times prior to speak to someone about trimming my cats nails. I told the person on the phone that it takes 2 people to do my cats nail trim. I admitted that my cat turns into a demon.On this particular day I called and asked if they could trim my cats nails. They said no problem. I asked again, is there more than 1 person because it takes 2 people to accomplish this task. Yes was their answer.I walked into the establishment and it smelled, like dog and pets. I understand it’s a pet grooming business. I have been to other pet grooming businesses and they have never smelled like this.A girl comes out and I tell her I need my cats nails trimmed. She asks me if I have verification for a rabies vaccine. I told her no, that no one ever mentioned that to me on the phone the 2 times I had called. I told her that it takes 2 people. She said no one relayed that message to her either. Just really seemed unorganized.They take my cat back and I can hear her meowing so loud! It took everything I had in me not to go back into the room they took her into and tell them to stop. I could also hear them talking loudly to my cat telling her they were trying to help her and to stop it. The cats already nervous, you don’t need to be making her more nervous.A long time elapsed and they finally brought my cat back to me. The girl told me my cat might have pooped, and might have poop in her carrier.The charge to trim was $10 with an additional $2 if you pay with a credit card.I had already decided before they brought my cat back to me that I would never go back to this business again. I would pay $100 for a nail trim before I go back to this place.My cat was traumatized. I’ve taken her to the vet to get her nails trimmed and also to another pet grooming business and I never hear my cat crying and getting yelled at. She has never pooped herself either.I’ve had to spoil my cat since we’ve been home because I felt terrible putting her through that.Don’t let this happen to you!

Katy was a pleasure to work with. She took care of my merle corgi Ellie. She smelled great and her coat looked amazing after! She even bathed our difficult cat Demetrius. The place looks nice inside and the staff are all amazing. Highly recommend. I have told all my friends to come here as well.

One of the first things you’ll notice when you walk into this grooming facility is that it does not smell like dog. Not one bit! The store is kept pristinely clean which gives a good indication of the type of service you’ll receive. The owner and staff are not only knowledgeable of grooming my dog, but having used Angie for more than five years now (I followed her from a previous location) I trust her instincts when she says something may be wrong or perhaps needs changed with my dog. I’ve tried several dog grooming salons. My experience is that some of them are filthy, others are inexperienced, and there was even one I just didn’t trust to return my dog to me in one piece! I trust Angie and the crew and more importantly so does my good boy Jax!

We have a Saint Bernard who is terrified of getting his nails cut. We took him to several places that were unable to even get him near the grooming table. We decided to give it one more try before our only other option, sedation at the vet and found Top Shelf. They are absolutely incredible and have successfully trimmed his nails multiple times now. Every single employee is really sweet, they are knowledgeable and are so patient. Even when busy we never feel rushed, they really take the time to try to reassure him and make the experience less stressful for him and us. I highly recommend them, especially if you have an anxious pet!

I was suprised how clean the place with. Katie was knowledgable about long haired dogs and did a good job with Yuki, she wasn't afraid at all. The hair had just gotten so long at home, I was worried about drowning in the house in dog hair. I just don't have the infrastructure at home for a longhaired swimming pool.Place did not smell like dog suprisingly. Highly recommended.
