This place always has the hardware I need. I got accustomed to visiting Menards and Lowes, and after a few trips around town I finally realized I should go here first.Large selection of fasteners that aren't stocked at auto-parts stores or the big home improvement stores.

Nice reasonable place for Home upgrades, or just to buy small things for home or yard.Customer service is great & Andrew, Kathy, & the rest helps customers find things.They have things in stock that are needed that Dollar Stores don't have, but they should have.I highly recommend ACE!

More pricey than the big box stores but they usually have what you're looking for in a pinch. Staff are always nice and friendly! And how they fit so many products in such a small space is beyond me.. lol

Wow I can't believe how rude the cashier was. We just left Sunday May 1st 2022 and we will never come back. First the cashier was eating while checking people out at the register. And then she used her walkie-talkie to communicate with another employee and they were actually yelling at each other.

Excellent knowledgeable staff! I explained what I needed and was taken by one of the staff members to where I needed to go. Unlike other stores, the associate stayed with us and helped us decide from several different models, and when there was I question he didnt know, the associate didn't "pretend" to "know everything" about the product, but deferred to another associate who was able to answer my inquiry, but also provided a plethora of information, so I could make a final decision on my purchase. DEFINITELY going to shop here more often.

This particular Ace Hardware has exceeded our expectations, time and time again! We purchased a "new" home in the area which needed much T.L.C. Shawnee Ace staff excelled in every way, from making quality keys, mixing paint, ordering supplies which arrived when quoted (ever during our recent pandemic season of uncertainty) and generally being the helpful folks advertised in the Ace commercial jingle. WE LOVE THIS PLACE!As a patron of this hardware store since the early 1970s I disagree with the person who said the staff was rude. They always help me, even walk with me to find obscure items. This place has lots of variety of tools and building materials to choose from. Tore your pants while fixing up the garage? Grab a new pair, along with the wrenches, screws, light fixtures, and your paint. Employees are friendly and helpful. I'll be a repeat customer, even though it's slightly out of my way to get here.
