I broke my ankle, l 3 different bones all at once, had to have surgery and am currently in a cast and unable to walk for the next 6 weeks. Today I needed a refill of pain meds. Well, the male pharmacist that I spoke to on the phone, got my doctor's prescription for the medication this morning but was calling me to inform me that I would have to bring him my muscle relaxer (which my surgeon prescribed to me) and my clonazapam (that the surgeon was well aware that i took, I have horrible ptsd) to "prove to him that I had them." He might as well a have called me a drug addict and be done with it. I've never been treated like this before. Um, I can't bring you anything sir, my leg is broken! Plus you're not the medication police, I owe you nothing.Long story short, don't go to the same pharmacy for the same medications you've been taking for 15 years. They will discriminate against you and ask that you do something completely impossible, just to appease their suspicious minds. If you happen to have an unfortunate accident like me where got need surgery, you're SOL because "Mr Medication Police" over there will abuse his tiny authority, interagate you and then ask you to do something impossible. He probably just wanted to confiscate my medications for his personal use. Don't use Rite Aid, they are going out of business anyway. And with what they let the pharmacists do, I'm not surprised.

Most of the time I just go here to buy cards, snacks, and a few other small things. Isn't the best place in Lima but it isn't the worst store either. They are short on help so sometimes you have to wait for a cashier. I see other people posting that the service at the pharmacy was bad. I would not suggest going to the pharmacy there for that reason but I haven't noticed anything with the cashiers in the front. This place is only OK but it is convenient because of its location.

As I tried to buy cold medicine, the young cashier proceeded to flirt with me and then messed up the transaction. This caused him to need the assistance of another cashier as well as a manager. This manager was very rude. I simply needed cold medicine, not a bad experience. However, the establishment was organized and I easily found what I needed.

I'll give the pharmacy 5 stars. But the rest of the place is under stock. They never keep a steady inventory of anything. Whoever does the ordering is running the store down.

Slow to process prescriptions. Cashiers at front of store refuse to honor sale prices in ad and posted in store. If it doesn't ring up right they will not fix it.
