This place is amazing and the manager is just absolutely incredible!! My daughter’s Guinea pig died that we purchased from here . Not their fault at all but they went above and beyond !!! They even allowed my daughter to pick out another one that day when they truly didn’t have to!!! We love this place !!! They care about their pets and their business!!❤️❤️they made a little girl so happy after her heart was broken ❤️❤️❤️

If you take your dog to the groomer, know they will not take him on any anxiety medications. Would have been informative to know this before hand. The lady over the counter didn't say sorry for not informing, didn't apologize for a lack of communication. Just cut me off while explaining that myself and many others around the world have done, by giving a dog anxiety medication before being groomed to make their job easier. Was told they will not take him in case of an emergency. I understand the concern. But no sympathy for the fact we drove 30 minutes into town today, cancelled other events we had going on today. Waited months for this appointment. All other groomers around Lima are out months. This was an absolute disgrace to Petco. We won't be shopping here anymore.Here's how you can improve in the future:Inform your clients the do's and dont's before bringing your dog to your groomer.Ask if they are on any medication currently or if they will be on any medication before the appointment before hand.If a complication comes up the day of the appointment, show sympathy for the people who took time out of there day to bring you business. People do not have extra time to waste, this sets people back months.Ask if they would like to reschedule at a later date.None of these were done. Do better.

This place has some of thee most rudest employees. They don't help or at least everytime I've been in..which isn't many times..I had to find an employee and even when i did finally receive help it was as if they didn't want to ..that's fine. Hire better employees

Maddie was exceptionally helpful and patient with all my questions regarding my beta fish. I had come the evening before and was not assisted properly, resulting in a dead fish overnight. Maddie took the time to ensure I had everything I needed for a happy, healthy fish. Thank you very much, Maddie!

Are you kidding me. After I spend money in your store you want to charge me for a bag to carry my stuff in. Absolutely not. Your stuff is already marked up and I pay more for it in at a pet store then anywhere else. Wonder why everyone has turned to online shopping. I definitely won't be going back. I should have said no bag then I'd like to return it all. Keep your overpriced supplies. I will go elsewhere.

Came here for a drop off and the girl helped me unload my trailer when it was difficult for me since I'm new to unloading and they also had a cat that I wanted to adopt so bad 😭 you can tell these were well taken care of animals.

the best petco i’ve been to! staff is so nice and knowledgeable, especially sam and one other lady whose name i unfortunately don’t know. I got my tailless whip scorpion here and she is doing absolutely amazing!! <3

Girl was very rude to me and other customers. Then its very inconvenient being charged 10 cents for a gorcery bag or carrying items out by hand, wheres the money going? Is it being donated to help shelters or some kind of charity? Or just to pocket corporate? Just was so bad this will be the last time I will go to petco, I will now use pet supplies plus and support local shelters and be treated like a human.

A good place to get equipment for all your pets needs. They have a lot ranging from fish to dogs and cats and even birds. Come and check them out. I recommend Petco. Two thumbs up

Very rarely go there to expensive. Plus the have know dogs or cats. This time I was just riding with my son.Plus, if you don't have paper work for the dog they won't take care of them, so now at 73yrs old I have to struggle to bathe and cut nails.

They are ok some of the staff is super nice other you can just tell we there to collect a pay check and go home. Wish they had a self wash station like other pet store have. I also wish they had frozen rats but they never do for some reason so I have to go to bellfountain to get them.

Been taking our dog there for grooming since January 2019. Great experience every time. Our dog seems to enjoy going there and rushes to go in to get his trim.

Bag of food was 2 months expired. Had my dog with me he was trying to pay attention to the girl at checkout. The person checking out next to us also had a dog who kept trying to get in my dogs face. The women checking the other person out stepped between our dogs and told the lady she was waiting on I'm just going to separate them cause that other dog is aggressive. My dog never even acknowledged the other dog nor did he care about that dog. I felt very offended just because my dog is part pit she assumed he was aggressive. We spend over $200 a month at petco considering finding somewhere else to shop.

Emily G. was FANTASTIC with our little scared pup. He had very high anxiety and some matting, Emily made friends with him and did a wonderful job cleaning up our attempt to groom him. She is patient, friendly and really knows how to work with pups. Cannot recommend highly enough. I have now had my pup back numerous times and Emily continues to be fantastic and I would highly highly recommend.

Everyone at the store was great but the power did go out while shopping and it wasn't even storming just windy out. The ladies at the registers was very quick to get it back up and running, at least as fast as the computers would let.

I spent $20 on 2 items for my dog and was asked if I wanted to purchase a bag for 10 cents. I'm sorry a bag should come with it. I shouldn't have to pay extra for that.

Friendly staff, good selection of items for aquariums and cats. The fish selection can be iffy- multiple times I've been in looking for different fish that have been out of stock or are not stocked. Prices are pretty good on many items too- especially if you sign up for their rewards program!

Went there for a double car seat for our puppies. They didn't have anything which worked for us. They seem to have a good selection of other items though.
