Extremely long wait in the drive thru at the McDonald's on Shawnee Rd. in Lima, OH, on Friday, April 26, 2024.According to my Google Maps app, I was in line from 7:43pm -8:06pm. Ridiculous.They must have been very understaffed because the first window, where you normally pay, wasn't open. The entire transaction was handled at the second window, where you normally just pick up your order. The employee was courteous, and my frozen Coke was delicious.

Manager was to busy talking about herself and showing her employees how "attractive" she was back in the day. Maybe 2-3 other customers eating inside. Drive thru barley had 3 cars in a two lane drive thru when I went in to order my food from the kiosk. Took about another 10 mins to be acknowledged and 6-8 more minutes to receive my order.

Biggest issue, the fries. Always always everytime I go there they are over salted and are either obviously stale, or cooked in some ancient fryer grease that even the health department would have a massive problem with. Second the coffee and teas are never made right. Thirds a pretty big one two, everytime I go for mobile pick up they take forever to bring it out(took me 40 mins sitting where they can clearly see me once) and it’s always a crappy excuse as to why. Do not come here, spend the time and go up to one in Lima even if shawnees much much closer. Trust me🙏

I have used the app two times now and both times the employees didn't understand how it works. I went inside today after using my app to order and the same thing happened. I spent 35 minutes waiting for my food and the people up front didn't care and when you tried to talk to them they would ignore the customers and keep their backs to them. I wasn't the only one. People were piling up waiting on their order. I live in Shawnee but I'm done supporting this restaurant that simply doesn't care about their customers. I don't have 45 minutes to wait on a cheeseburger.

This has become my temporary office while in Lima. The staff are a hard working team. I've heard raving reviews from locals about how it's turned around and is a lot cleaner now.Kid-friendliness: Usually lots of kids come in with family during lunch or breakfast if school is delayed or off. It's great to hear their excitement about the tables that light up.

So, I made an order online with the app at just after 11pm- I checked in for curb-side service and a worker (Julie) came out to tell me they were closed and was not able to process my order- with the app there was no way to cancel the order and have my money refunded. She suggested that I return the following day (today) and someone would be able to help me- she took the time to go thru the app to try to cancel and refund- she apologized at least 10 times. Sooooo…. Today I return to do as she had suggested- and guess who was here! Yes- and obviously she remembered me probably because I’m NOT a Karen! She was able to fill my order as pleasantly as before, and thanked me for my patience last night!!In a nut-shell Thank you Julie! (And thank you Alex my niece for this awesome customer serviced person)

Worst drive thru in lima. Went Aug 20th, 2023 around 1:00pm. We had a big order so ofc we understand there will be a wait time. We pay for our food and ask for a receipt, oh sorry next window pls. We get to the window to grab our food. We get 4 drinks and they go to hand us a frappe that wasn't right size and say can you please pull up to the reserved parking spot so we did still no reciept. After waiting about a half hour we go in asking where our food was. Oh sorry we have no idea, do you have a receipt? No, no we don't after asking twice. Oh we're sorry about that. Proceeds to give us the wrong order for the gal who was waiting 35 mins for a 10pic nugget and fries. So we politely ask for the correct food. After being inside for another 25 mins we finally get our food. Fries were obviously cold by this time. The drinks we had ordered sat in the car the entire time bc they gave us drinks without straws, (kids in the back). Imagine going through fast food, ordering food for 4 people and having to wait an hr and jump through all the hoops to get your food. Idk if management knows how piss poor this store is run, but I hope they do now.

Worst McDonald's. Poorly trained staff.if you order a meal by number they do not understand you must state each item individually and size if you add a request like hold onions you must restate whole order over.even if you do this slowly the order may be incorrect and you may not receive what you asked for. And expect to wait 5 to 10 minutes even if no one is there. Thought third try would be better, I was wrong.

Pull in today just before 11 for a quick lunch.Placed my order paid pull to next window there was a change in girls at the window.Girl had me pull up to next window they would bring it out to me. Wasn't to happy but did it.Watch probably 20 cars go by me a couple pull in parking spots and had food brought out to them.I pull my car up so I can get out to go in.The girl it coming out with a drink for another car that went around me.I said I have been waiting almost 20 minutes for my sandwich and fries she said just a couple more minutes.Well after a few more cars go by and park for food I tell her just give me my money back.She has to talk to manager takes a couple more minutes for her to come out and she wants a receipt witch they didn't give me when I paid.At that point I said just forget.Pull out went to Burger King had my food in about 2 minutes.

This was the worst drive thru service ever. The person handing out our food was chopping on gum and could not understand her. I ordered and 10 peice nugget and got a 4 peice, I ordered 2 med fries and got 1. The 2 cheeseburgers I ordered had one pickle each and dot of ketchup and those were at least an hour old. Do better McDonalds! I worked hard for the money I gave you, you didn't work hard at getting my order right.

My food was awful. Old and tough chicken nuggets, terrible fries, and the employees did not have gloves on, and were dealing with my food with their bare hands. I even payed extra for two extra sauces, and they literally didn’t even give me ANY. I thought I could count on my sweet tea to be better, but that wasn’t even good. At least my cookie was decent.

Store was dirty as all get out, food laying everywhere. Order was wrong as expected so we checked before we left so not to have to come back. They did make order right but food was prepared sloppy an definently did not taste fresh! With as dirty as this place was I wouldn't be surprised if they have bugs, like most of the McDonald's in this area tho!
