No cash registes open. Stopped in the store today to try to shop. Parked at main entrance. Before I shop I spoke to the 2 employees standing at the self checkout lane. I asked if the regular cashier lane where going to be open? Like almost always. They nice lady said no, just the self check out for you to ring your own stuff up. Not sure why I waste my time going there when they only consistently have one cashier to ring you up at the far end of the store. Menards always have friendly cashiers ready to great you.

We purchased a washer & dryer set, had it delivered. Delivery drivers had my husband plug them in. The dryer plug “blew”. They didn’t bother to make sure rhey hooked things up correctly. Just handed my husband an extra cord and basically told him to have a nicr day. New home to us, but previous owner had a dryer hooked up just fine so…thanks! Thought delivery service was more than delivery and telling you to figure it out.

Insufficient inventory and online site. Trying to purchase a garage door opener which was listed as 11 available at store. Only 3 on shelf, all with torn and taped packaging. Cust Serv said store has 13. Clerk in department "sorry, only have the new one, same one, different look, different packaging", and oh yeah, $7 more. No surprise, left empty handed.

Called this store and spoke to someone in the appliances department at 3 o’clock regarding the availability of a dishwasher. The person on the phone told me there were two in stock, and I asked him if he were able to hold one for us due to us living two hours away and we would be down soon to pick it up. He said no, only if we order online. The issue is if we ordered it for pickup online, it gave us a pickup date that was a week away, which didn’t make sense since he had just told us there were two ON HAND. We drove the 1.5 hours to the store, and the appliances associate at the counter told us they were out of stock and he could have one delivered. Uhhhh, what? You had said on the phone you had two, and you’d keep an eye out for us when we said we’d be down. We spoke with the manager, Aaron, who attempted to help us out but in the end was all for nothing. Very disappointed Lowe’s Pro member here….

I appreciate that Lowe's gives active duty and veteran military a 10% discount, however getting this discount should be just as easy to get online as it is in the store. I called my local store to ask if appliances are eligible purchases for the military discount, and I immediately got a customer service recording. The recording explained the military discount and how to receive the discount online as well as in a store. Unfortunately, when I followed the steps to order online, it did not work as described on the recording. So, I called my store again, a couple of times, and was left feeling less than appreciated. I got transferred to someone at the customer service desk who told me, "Tou have to come in to the store to get your discount." I replied that the recording says I can get my discount if I login to my Lowe's account. She said, "I don't know what the recording says. Customer's have said they can't order online and get their discount, so just come in to the store." I replied that I couldn't go to the store and that's why I was trying to order online (which is a convenience stores offer their customers). Then she said she'd have to transfer me. I told the man who answered why I was transferred and he said, "I'm sorry ma'am, I'm a cashier in the garden section, I don't know how to help you. Let me transfer you to the help desk." So I waited, but then someone picked up the phone and then hung up without saying anything. I gave up.I know as a company, Lowe's respects our military and doesn't want to inconvenience their customers. So, if I may offer a suggestion; please have your customer service employees take an order over the phone and manually put in our military discount information as a courtesy if the website doesn't automatically apply it to our transaction at checkout.Thank you,Dependant of Major Philip Croteau, USMC (retired)

I shop at Lowe's because they are very well stocked and give me a 10% veteran's discount. The folks working there are people like me and even had the opportunity to use ASL with one employee.

I bought a washer and out of the box, it didn't work. Contacted Lowe's management and was told "Hope you bought the warranty, you need to call them because that's all we can do."So now I'm stuck with a $600 washer that has to be repaired right out of the box, and until my damn appointment with the repairman, washing clothes in the tub. I'm so disappointed.

I like this store, I like the employees. 1-star review because I ordered a custom window from them, nothing complicated, but the folks who made the window just did it simply wrong. I had to take the window anyway since I had a hole in my house. Lowes offered 10% discount to compensate. I do not recommend ordering custom items from Lowe's!

The process of purchasing our new washer and dryer was great. Les was wonderful, personable, and very helpful. We set up delivery for a day that was convenient for us. We were notified the night before that our delivery was to arrive between 1p-5p the following day. This did not happen. After 5pm we called the store to find out what happened to our delivery. We were told delivery was attempted at 1:30p but they claimed roads were closed. There were absolutely no roads closed in our area that lead to our house. No phone call was placed to us either telling us this information. My husband then had to make 3 calls before talking to someone who was hesitant about rescheduling the delivery. Absolutely unprofessional and infuriating.  Very disappointing for Lowe's, one of my favorite places to make purchases from. So now we sit and wait for a phone call that has yet to be returned going in to day two.

I am SOO frustrated! We purchased an extended warranty when we bought our Whirlpool fridge from Lowes. The insurance company (Assurant) assigned Telrad Electronics to repair our fridge. After 4 months and 3 visits we have ZERO progress and can't get honest answers from Telrad or Assurant - just constant runaround and empty promises. We've tried to get Lowe's to intervene on our behalf (they are the agent that sold us the insurance), but they just transfer us to Assurant. We're trapped in service hell! We've purchased our last appliances from Lowes.UPDATE - After posting this review and a similar review on Assurant, we were contacted by Assurant. Our case had been elevated and, after several phone conversations and research by Assurant, they detemined our fridge could not be repaired. We were sent a Lowe's gift card to purchase a replacement fridge. We are happy with the final outcome, though it was unfortunate we had to jump through hoops (including negative social reviews) to get answers and an acceptable resolution.

The woman in flooring named Vicky is absolutely perfect and fabulous. She helped me more than anyone has ever helped me in that store. I have bought carpet baseboards boarder Kilz by the 5 gallon buckets and so much more.... As far as I am concerned she makes me want to come into Lowes and buy mu stuff. I use to be a Home Depot person. Not anymore.... I am a Lowes person because of Vicky..... Never have I seen such a hard working person that loves her job. Always pleasant and professional.... I will always deal with her... She is my GO TO WOMAN ON EVERYTHING I NEED.

Have been a customer for a long time. Just went today and no cash registers open in front of store. Had to walk all the way down to the lumber cashier to check out. I don't get paid to be a cashier and refuse to use self check out. If this practice keeps up, I will start going to Maynerds.

This visit was not the best. The female in the flooring area was exceptionally rude. Store set up was just ok. However, the highlight of the store was Jim our cashier. What a nice man!

Ordered mower on line and picked it up with no problem till we tried to use it and found it had No battery. we called wasted 40 minutes on hold, Staff put us on hold several times and ,very rude and acted like they did not know what to do. They refused to give us battery and weuhad to purchase battery from another store. Terrible service.update they have not tried to make this right and as if to make it worse they want us to call them ,note we called several times and where hung up on or treated rudly. Very poor others part .

I bought a washer and dryer here. Service in the store is excellent. However, the delivery people only delivered the dryer. When asked driver said I don't know. Maybe on another truck. They have yet to contact me. I've called them twice. They say they have 24-48 hours to figure it out. No, you made an appointment with me. I held up my end and was there for your 3 hour window. Now you hold up your end and give me my washer. & FYI, their window has already passed without hearing from them. 12/10: went to get some screws. Hardware wasn't amazingly arranged... but got what I wanted so there is that..

The associate upfront by the name of Amy needs some social skills improvement classes... To put it nicely. I will never again go into that store and encourage others to stay out also (Lima, OH) unless maybe you can avoid Amy.. Lowe's just lost a 30-year customer. I would rate them a zero but that's not possible.

On January 5th, 2023 I went into Lowes to purchase a toilet and some other things I needed for my home renovation. I asked for someone to assist me. The woman at the service desk paged for a helper. I wait and wait and wait. 15mins go by and asked her to page again. Waited and waited again. Everyone that passed me said "not my department " and walked on. I was not happy and decided to leave. As I was leaving, I saw about 10 workers at the service desk just laughing it up. I said have a nice party and left angrily. Sooo I went to Menards and immediately got the help I needed. The sales rep went to every department with me. If he didn't know the answer he asked someone. He never left my side.Well Lowes you lost a $3896.11 worth of sales. I need more, but I will never use your store again. My story will be passed on to friends and family. I wonder how much money you will lose from them.
