Have passed this place for a long time while driving to Lima. Headed home I popped in this time. Service was fast and friendly. The prices seemed fair to me. Couple disappointments....the fact I was charged to use my credit card and didn't see that posted, and the raspberry shake I ordered was very runny, and had to drink it fast, had no thickness at all.

I had some of their hand dipped ice cream. It was delicious! I got black cherry and the cherries were so big! It was great! The prices are reasonable, the portions are good sized, and the employees are nice! You can't ask for more. You have to try this place! It's worth the trip!

Local to my home, so I frequent this place. Very fair prices and portion sizes. When cooking for two, you can't make things at home as cheap as here. Food wise, I've tried everything on the menu since I go so often. I've yet to be disappointed. Friendly staff that appear to like their job and care about customer satisfaction. The big chain fast food restaurants need some staff like Hefner's has. But, I hope they find their own don't hire theirs.

Wow, that was awesome! Travelling on a back road never tasted so good. They have a Hot Dog with Pulled Pork On IT!!!!! Next time I'm driving down a back road I'll definitely be back!

My strawberry milkshake was thick and delicious and my husband's chocolate double malt was spot on. I've driven by this place countless times and wish I'd have stopped sooner. The drive thru line was a little hung up when we got there but once we got going, it went pretty fast.

Great place to get Ice Cream. They are doing their Fall hours now. Good Atmosphere, can eat outside at the table. They practice Social Distancing. Staff is very Friendly and Respectful. Great place to relax whether outside or just in you vehicle. Everything is priced well and it is Delicious! So, if You haven't tried it, I highly recommend that You do.

Very good ice cream and this place gives off a good vibe. The Blasters are the equivalent of a Dairy Queen Blizzard and are equally good, if not better. There's plenty of seating outside and is a good place to go with friends. Always seems busy which goes to prove their quality.

A go to place for my family when it comes to ice cream! Locally owned and operated so it's always a plus supporting small businesses. We love their ice cream and food. My wife always gets their pulled BBQ beef and I always try different things, their soft tacos are good as well as the nacho supreme. Great seating area with about 6 tables as well as parking to sit in your car and eat. Reasonable prices and a great staff. You get well above average servings when you order their ice cream.

So very disappointed. We spent $28,00 on 2 hot dogs, a chicken salad wrap, 2 hot fudge sundaes and 1 scoop of cookies and cream ice cream. The hot fudge sundaes had more whipped cream than ice cream. Usually for a sundae you can see the ice cream coming out of the bowl....not these. I took them back up to the girl and asked if they were correct. For $10.00 for 2 sundaes there should have been a lot more ice cream in those bowls....

Best banana splits ever. I drive from Kenton just for them. Made to order, soft serve & regular. Best ice cream ever. Custom made is the best way to go at Hefner Dairy Barn.

Have only been here once since I'm from Michigan, so can't say too much about Heffner's. I had a chocolate covered banana blaster which was good. They weren't super busy when we were there but they were steady. I would like to go back and try more off to their menu. My fiance who is from Ohio said they have excellent egg salad sandwiches.

This place is great. My kids love it, good prices, the staff is super nice, it's always clean and on a hot day the breeze from the fields makes it very pleasant. I'd definitely recommend this place

I went there after a baseball game once and it is amazing! They have a wonderful variety of items and good food and good service! I'm surprised that this is the only location with how good their food is.
