We have had multiple challenges with Ludowici. At first the sales team was helpful and knowledgeable. We appreciated they sent multiple sample tiles to our home to do a color match to an existing roof as we needed to order additional tile to match for an addition. After charging us the full amount upfront before anything shipped then things started to go south. The order kept getting delayed by months and they offered no discount nor did they give frequent updates. This caused us to have to reschedule roof installation dates and created a lot of uncertainty. Then, once the tiles arrived they were very poorly packed and we had a ton of issues with over 50% of the tiles. Many were broken and over half were not fully colored baked. The color had rubbed off or not been properly put on the tiles. The stain is supposed to be baked into the tiles which is why they are so pricey yet over half had marks, scrapes, missing color as well as many were broken. Our contractor was witness to this and we took photos and video from the minute the delivery occurred to prove to the company this was there issue. They then required the contractor to provide further documentation and ship back some sample tiles to show the issues to them. We have been waiting months now for a refund and they are ignoring us, not providing any update. The service has been very poor and we are now having to look into legal options to get some sort of refund. This is really disappointing as the tile that wasn't damaged was nice and the team was very helpful at first. I am hoping someone senior at the company can help us get a resolution.*UPDATE* The company did refund part of our fees due to the many broken tile and that many of the tiles were not fully stained. We appreciate that they did make this right in the partial refund but were still not happy about the delays and process.
