You would think being a multi billion dollar company they would have better registers and pay their employees better so they can actually get NICE people in there. Registers are down all the time with lines wrapping around the store, most employees are always rude; mostly the younger girls in there. seems like they hand keys to anyone. Prices are ALWAYS WRONG at the register then they get an attitude when you ask them to adjuat it to the price shown. Get better computers and more employees. DG needs to be shut down. Convenience or not it's a clown corporation.

Constantly out of things, the store closes whenever they feel like it because they can’t keep employees. Prices can be different when you get to the register. The entire store is a mess and there is usually only 2 people in the entire store

This store just sucks. The customer service is terrible, there’s never anyone around the store to help look for stuff when you cannot find stuff. Rarely ever see someone behind the cash register. Just not a good place to go overall.

This is my local Dollar General so I have refrained from making a review but honestly I can't deal with it anymore when you Google something and it says open customers expect the store to be open when we drive out here to get something they literally make up their own hours whenever they please and they blame it on short staffing well here's an idea hire more people I mean it doesn't take rocket science it's ridiculous and it's unfair to the people who live here in Lewisburg this is the only store that really has much of anything come on guys get it together

June 2019 Store is usually a mess. Limited stock, and out of those the items they do carry most of the time.Nov 2019 Update: Under new management, and store is better stocked. Nikki is super helpful, and friendly. Ashley the manager is also very nice. Selection is getting better. Would love to see them expand their fresh & healthier food selection. Changing review to reflect improvements.

It's bad enough that their produce is way beyond past its prime, I was greeted by this going down an aisle. WON'T BE COMING BACK TO THIS LOCATION. Next time they close, they aught to make it permanent

I love this store and am grateful its located in our small town......friendly staff....my concern is the the store is always dirty......floor is a dirty mess always no matter the season and the floor space is complete chaos with not much order or nice displays.....boxes stacked here and there but no one restocking ever. Shelves are usually a crazy unorganized mess.....maybe they r short staffed??

I saw a boy working here, hanging around after taking the trash out at night, causing a large scene and calling the customers slurs. The store was also EXTREMELY dirty and gross! I wouldn't come here again if my life depended on it.

Love this store!!!! Always come in with my children and have always had a great experience with the employees. They seem to always have time to help us and make us feel very welcomed even when they are clearly busy. 💗💓

When we greeted a young employee 🚶 who was taking out the trash, 🚮 he loudly threatened us, saying we needed to "square up," and then yelled a sexist phrase & the n word. Further, the store was dark, grimy, and run down, and barely anyone, let alone employees, were wearing masks, with social distancing 🧠 not being enforced. 😹 HORRIBLE! 😛🚫

I SOMETIMES FEEL SORRY FOR THE EMPLOYEE BEHIND THE CASH REGISTER. AFTER 4PM WHEN MOST GET OFF WORK. IT GETS PACKED. AND THERE LINES CAN BE INSANE. EVERY EMPLOYEE THAT WORKS AT THE DOLLAR GENERAL SHOULD RECEIVE A RAISE AND I DO MY PART ALSO. I TRY TO BUY THE EMPLOYEES THERE A LARGE PIZZA WITH ALL THE WORKS. I HAVE BOUGHT THEM AT LEAST 4 PIZZA'S IN THE LAST 6 MONTH'S. IF THAT AIN'T PEOPLE SKILLS I DONT KNOW WHAT IS.

Filthy. Dirty. Shortly after the remodel, fresh food was available. Now, where that was, it generally has old, rotting food... if any.

This is the dirtiest store I think I've been in ever. It's already bad enough that none of the prices resemble a dollar, but to charge outrageous prices and operate a dirty store does not make much sense.

They are so helpful and friendly at Lewisburg. If I can't find something....they go and see if I missed it. Always working and straightening. Go there several times a week.
