Took my nieces for a beautiful day at the farm. The animals were so very friendly. We got a cup of each type of treat to walk around with. The baby goats stole the show. They were only days old! The farm was easy for us to navigate, but I could see those with mobility concerns having a difficult time reaching the upper hill. However, there were quite a few animals on the lower flat area. Also there was lots of seating around the lower area. We sat comfortably by the goats for a good long time.

10/10. Even got to pet a dog and some cats. Food was cheap, I recommend getting one of each, most of them have a preference. 🧡🎃 loved all of it

This was my boyfriends and I first time here(we visited early August). It does not disappoint! The people and animals are friendly. The Yaks, Camels, and Coy pond were my favorite:) The landscape was beautiful, clean, and very well kept. I can't wait to visit again!

Fantastic first time visit. Pens are large & clean. Owner & help were so friendly & helpful. Took my 75 year mom with mobility issues & they let me drive her up the hill to see all the animals. We had a fantastic time here.

This was such a wonderful place to go and such beautiful close up interactions with a variety of fun animals, many of whom were very eager to be touched and heard (Looking at you Max and Hank!) We really enjoyed getting to spend time leisurely visiting with animals! Well worth the money!

This place is a great place to take small children and be able to feed and pet farm animals. They have over 20 different animals, reptiles, birds and fish to keep the family entertained for hours. From the camel's to peacocks to emus to striped skunks and potbellied pigs (some new babies as well as grown), it's a fascinating and educational adventure.Guests can purchase food to feed the various animals at the admission counter as well as with quarters from gumball machines scattered around the property. The cost is pretty affordable, although it's best to go when the weather is accommodating as there aren't many human shelters. The highlight of the farm (in my opinion) is at the top of the hill: a pond filled with Koi, Carp, and ducks with a couple wooden swings to relax in while watching the school of fish squabble over the pellets that are readily available for 50¢.I went with my family over Labor Day weekend as a recommendation from my mom who had been there before. It was a nice way to spend time with my nieces and nephews.

This place is amazing! I’ve never been to such an incredible petting farm. There is so much to do and so much to see, the animals are the coolest and it’s not expensive at all! I highly suggest stopping by! I’m 31 and had the time of my life!

I was quite impressed with this farm in every way you could imagine. My grandchildren had the time of their lives! Animal's were all very well cared for and very friendly. There was quite a variety of animals to enjoy at a more than fair price. A very family oriented place to visit and enjoy! These ladies get 5 star's from me! Great job!

One of the best animal experiences we have had with our kids! Absolutely beautifully maintained farm, charming gardens with displayed antiques, appropriate habitats and healthy/happy looking animals of all kinds. Lots of space and go at your own pace. A friendly baby deer was even roaming around the grounds and said a long hello to the kids delight. Welcoming and helpful staff. Nice restrooms as well. Very pretty drive. What a gem!

What a tremendous place to have in the Laurelville Community. We loved our time there and will go back whenever we are in the area for an extended family visit. Keep the little ones close when you're by the pond, there is not a railing from the feeding area.

Muddy Boots is our favorite 😍. The owners are so welcoming and truly love each one of their animals...not to mention their property is beautiful! The strawberry lemonade they are serving this year is the cherry on top!

This is a wonderful place for any age! John and Tammie are very creative and have made this place something special. My personal favorite is the enclosure with all the bunnies that run around your feet.

Absoultely fantastic place. The people are the nicest people I've met ever. Super cheap, just park in the yard, find the buildings to pay (cards accepted) and then you're allowed to walk around anywhere. When I went, the had raccoons, squirrels, a cockatoo, peacocks, prarie dogs, donkeys, camels, Zonkeys, and a huge pond of a bunch of koi fish. Also this skunk and the hilarious picture I took.We had a blast. An absoutle must-go for anyone in the area.

We go to Hocking Hills every year, and yesterday was our first time visiting Muddy Boots! It's like a little piece of paradise ♡ The animals were all so friendly and it was so fun feeding and petting them all! I couldn't stop talking about it all day, and I'm 31 years old 😂 The owner was very nice and did a great job telling us about all the animals since it was our first visit! We will definitely be back ♡

What a wonderful place. My wife and I went with my daughters family, which she has a 4 and 6 year old. I was expecting your normal petting zoo but I was wrong. This place was super clean and neat. All the animals look to be healthy and well taken cared for. Also don’t miss the pond at the top of the hill. Well done Muddy Boots farm.

Two words; LOVED IT! We all had a blast visiting this petting zoo. They have so many different kinds of animals, including bunnies that you get to go in and play with and feed. My son particularly loved the baby raccoon that was hanging out with the owner at the front desk (she said it is going to be released back into the wild today! How exciting) the whole property is absolutely stunning and you can tell that they take pride in what they do - caring for animals. All are very well taken care of and extremely loved. Not very busy on a Sunday afternoon, so we explored with ease and didn’t feel bombarded with people. I could just walk the lands for hours and visit with the cute animals of course. We highly recommend visiting this place! Also, the woman (owner) was so very kind! That’s a huge plus in my book.

Wonderful experience at the farm! My kids who are generally nervous around animals took little time to get comfortable feeding and petting these gentle animals. Love the variety of animals. Hope to make it back for a visit soon.

Really well kept petting farm. There was a great variety of animals, from raccoons to camels. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. It’s very nice that there is food available to purchase for feeding the animals. I would highly recommend this to any family visiting the Hocking Hills area. My favorite animals were definitely the raccoons!

Wonderful petting zoo/farm! The animals were friendly, and all areas were well maintained. Take time to enjoy the beautiful flowers and garden, as well as the farm itself! And, did I mention, very reasonably priced.
