Best place to visit in Ohio and where great memories are made! The staff are the absolute sweetest and most helpful for any situation. Events scheduled throughout the summer for fun, very clean, lots of things for kids to do. Also, where kids can be kids! I will always recommend Longs to friends and family.

After staying at a relatives' camper for a season, we started looking for a place of our own. With the laid back atmosphere of just being able to get away is the main reason of coming. But with the amount of technology we are hit with everyday, nice to be able to enjoy the campground amenities of swimming, basketball, fishing, kayaking or driving the golf cart around. The stars are so much more intense there.There are cabins for rent if just planning a long weekend. Not far from here is an Amish store, The Country Crust Bakery, that has pretzel sandwiches that are so good. Although sauce on the side is suggested.Longs is just far enough to get away, but still be close to home.Enjoy!

Only camp ground I know where you can’t even go camping just for a night or 2. There change to only long term camping show you they don’t care about there long time customers who use to enjoy coming and camping just for a weekend. Hope only the worst for this place.

Wonderful place for family gatherings Pavilions have electric and are a nice size. Bathrooms are clean. This is a resort area for RVs. They may have cabin rentals, I don't know. They have a lake for swimming. Seems like a lovely place. We have our yearly family reunion here.

Toilets going into the swimming area were clogged and disgusting. Putt putt was a pretty nice 9 holes. Went to the arcade and got change for all the kids at the birthday party to play the games just to find out 90% of them don't take the quarters and maybe 5 games even properly worked at all. The shelter house renting was decently priced. I don't think another birthday party will be happening there.

We would go a lot more if they had actual sand. It really hurts people's feet to be at the beach area too long especially little ones who don't want to keep shoes on. Also, the pizza left a lot to be desired. No flavor in the sauce.We have family in the area and camp on their property most weekends in the summer. We've heard the same complaints by family members.

Wow! Remote, gorgeous views, Amish Country, massive camp grounds and quite a bit to do. Perfect for a week's vacation. Be aware that cell service and wifi are virtually non-existent but a ten minutes drive will get you service at a local library. Go carts, golf carts, splash pad, mini golf, kids train, bounce houses, shelters and playgrounds, water slides, $2 ice cream. Cabins for rent. Great place for a family get together.

We had a group of 14 that went on our trip. We rented 3 cabins and 1 rental trailer.-The cabin that the kids and I stayed in had a full size bed on the first floor and the loft had a bed that one of the kids slept in (the loft ladders were very steep, so if you have trouble getting up and down that may be a problem)Each cabin had a couch, so one kiddo slept there each night.-Each cabin was air conditioned and stayed nice and cool (I had to take it off of energy saving mode, the cabin just stayed too hot otherwise)-The only thing they supplied you with was one roll of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, dish soap at the kitchen sink and they had a broom and dust pan. Anything else you need to bring with you!-We had an amazing time. There were so many things to do! So many fun memories were made!-The only downfall to this place is there is no signal for wifi so you can't use your phones to call or text each other. We lost GPS along the way. I wish we would have at least taken walkie talkies lol. As big as the place is you like to communicate with each other on where to meet up and so forth. Other than that we absolutely loved it!-The food onsite was really good (They need lids and straws for future) especially with kids!!!! 🤦 -The water slides were a huge hit along with the arcade and go carts!-We rented golf carts for our stay, which made it way more fun for the kids (and adults😉)!!-Definitely a great place for a family vacation!!!

We have been coming for several years now. It's definitely quieter than back in the day with over night/ weekenders staying. Which is nice but sad in away. Some people can ruin a good stay and is understandable.The cabins are great. Except air conditioners need better maintained. Maybe new mattresses. Love that the patios are going concrete and cabins are being upgraded. Really improving.Loved the pizza. And the staff was great everytime I spoke to them. They explained why no lids and straws and I do agree with their decision about not having them. We need to take care of the nature around us. So be sure to bring your own cups with lids that attach. Please pick up trash you create. Just because they have staff that keep the place nice and neat doesn't mean customers need to leave a mess.Arcade definitely needs games to be fixed. Price was good. But need more kiddo games. Pool tables would be nice, ping pong, shuffle board, even badminton maybe.Showers were nice and clean. Plenty of hot water. The store was nice and seemed to be stocked with great supplies.The beach was nice. Love that the chairs they rented was less than I thought it would be. The lifeguards were great. Definitely on their toes with watchful eyes and safety in mind.Definitely happy that there is a dollar general just down the road because we made a few trips there.Do wish there was Wifi. Tho vaca is suppose to be a getaway.All in all a great little vaca with the family and will come again even more.Safety: Great safetyWalkability: A good bit of walking to do. If you don't want me to walk alot get a cart but it's $60.00 a day. And I heard people complain about their cart.Food & drinks: Love the pizza

We go up for day trips it's about a 45 min drive from our house so we never get the cabins but it's a great place for families and we also go with a big group of friends and all of our kids ages between 7-4 and all of them plus us adults have an absolute blast the staff are always friendly a they have great food at there on sit restaurantsNearby activities: Go Kart bouncy houses water slides splash pad boat rentals mini golf a carasouleSafety: Always at least at the beach 3 life guardsWalkability: Everything is in walking distance from each otherFood & drinks: Amazing food but you can also take coolers and stuff for a grill they have a decent size area with charcoal grills and picnic tables

Nice retreat for a family to visit. We have a permanent spot here. Would like to have more scheduled activities For permanent campers. I would give 5 stars if they had a swimming pool for permanent campers only.Nearby activities: You share the beach and all of the recreational activities with the locals which is public access.Safety: Security on site.Food & drinks: Nice variety of American food selections

We started visiting Longs about ten years Ago and first rented a cabin. My kiddos love it and we now have an annual site that has been the best investment in family R&R that one could possibly make. Forget time shares and expensive annual vacations. Longs allows us to enjoy all the amenities of a resort stay virtually every weekend and multiple weeks throughout the summer for a fraction of the cost of a single week roadtrip vacation. It's a unique place where everyone smiles, waves and is very welcoming. The owner and staff are great. The entire grounds, restrooms and facilities are very well kept. It's very much a slice of heaven hidden in the hills.

We had a group with ages ranging from 50 to 2 years old and everyone had a great time! The lake itself is a lot of fun, the slides and diving boards make it even better. The splash pad is pretty big and included in the (super cheap) admission price. Go-Karts, inflatables and the arcade are pretty cheap too. Lots of fun to be had by everyone!!

Loved the place when we first arrived. Lots of cool things to do, water slides are pretty fun, and the swimming area next to it was really nice. However, staff seemed like they hated there job. What really got me was I had my daughter with me who was 7 months old at the time and family was with us who also had a 2 month old at the time also, we were packing up to leave and they were closing everything, we were changing our baby’s out of the wet diapers into clean ones when a older female security guard snapped at us to “get out, were closing”. If you’re going to go I’d recommend avoiding the staff but lots of cool things to do with kiddos. My daughter loved the swimming side, they have a section for little ones.
