Are Danielle and Simon the BEST people in the world? Yes, I think so. I am a VERY experienced exotic animal owner so when my 7 year old daughter wanted an axolotl, I was up for the challenge. I did my research and it seemed very intimidating. Danielle and Simon took a lot of time to discuss and explain things. I asked sooooo many questions and most of them probably sounded really stupid. (I promise I’m not THAT stupid… just an extremely detailed animal owner.) They didn’t judge, gave knowledgeable answers/advice, and helped me find the right products (but didn’t push things on me). I don’t know if they realize they are literally saving animals lives by sharing their knowledge. My axolotls (Effie and Sméagol) are so happy in their beautiful 55 gallon tank Danielle and Simon helped me prepare. I am officially a customer for life and recommending to all my friends.

Wonderful Place! They helped us set up our 5 gallon tank! We bought our supplies and fish from another store, and the fish died after not even 24 hours! Went to J P Sucess, Inc. They sold us some of their water and told us to only get 2 fish to start. After a week we still have fish!! Thank you so much and you guys are highly recommended!!

I've been coming here for a while now. Been to a lot of fish stores, and this one is the BEST OF THE BEST! the team is very knowledgeable, take very good care of the fish, and I defiantly recommend their clownfish. Simon and the owners (Joe and his wife) are amazing people and are very personable! I recommend this fish store over others easily and the little over an hour of a drive is totally worth it!

Do not go here unless you like to purchase sick and dying fish for an extremely high price. You'll be much better off ordering fish online from a reputable seller. Every time I have bought fish from this store they have died in under a week. I've been keeping fish for nearly a decade and have never had so many problems.Edit: calling a dissatisfied customer a loser more than makes my case for me. Your complete lack of professionalism speaks for itself. Have a nice life and I wish you nothing but the best. Future customers be warned.

Joe is bitter and mean...rude....yelled at a long time customer for vaping.. Non nicotine...then telling my personal health problems to the whole store!!!!! Dirty store...dead sick fish...dont quarantine fish....way double overpriced compared to everywhere....Don't go.....for joe.....bitter old man!!!!!!!..........a... Joe is unpleasant to be around....dirty.....store....high price's. And since I left a bad review..he banned me unless I take it down...or Google....they won't...he tried..cause it's all facts...cameras don't lie...only Joe. And the pictures are dirty tanks,dead fish,rotten plants, dead unhealthy plants...DO NOT SHOP AT J.P.!!!! Google will not take down true factual reviews of bad places...sorry...not sorry j . edit. Joe said I am not allowed back in store untill me or google takes down this review! That might be illegal Joe! Freedom of speech is my right! I went in to take a fish back cause they were sick and one dead. A young guy with glasses said i stole . i emptied all my pockets out. Told me to leave.then he told me quote, "go kill yourself " What store tells a customer to kill there self? So I left the store and will go to Petco where there friendly and treat people nice, and don't discriminate or say horrible things to you.DONT GO THERE! go to petco. Great Clownfish breeding program. Picked up 2 juvenile Snowflakes and they are awesome quality for my nano 16. They have some good coral frags I got a duncan and a Monti digi, doing great in my tank. My 2 year old thought the world of getting to see the fish. Great store 👍

I made a special trip to see this store and was a little disappointed in their freshwater selection, as well as the state of some of their tanks. I saw several dead fish, a very cloudy tank and a couple tanks with fish just "hanging"...they were not swimming around....which is strange to see..but maybe that's normal.I double-checked the map to make sure I had the right place...based on all the other excellent reviews...but it appears to be the same place. I'm not a saltwater tank owner so can't speak to that section.

I hit the store up weekly for my pre mixed saltwater and the staff is always super cool and pleasant to talk with. I tend to talk a person's ear off so I often feel bad about taking up their time. But very knowledgeable about the fish and equipment I've spent about 1000 bucks there over the last few weeks with no regrets will definitely be a long time customer

Been a customer here for years, won't go anywhere else. Great selection (even harder to find specimens) and they'll order what you're looking for if they don't have it. Best customer service...always honest, helpful, friendly. To me the customer service is the most important part of any business, and this place is amazing.

The employees are very nice. And lots of beautiful different types of fish (fresh/saltwater). They have many fish tank supplies and super nice aquariums that I haven't seen at other pet stores. Their prices are awesome!!! I won't be getting my fish anywhere else. I highly recommend this place.

Love the store I have stocked my tank thanks to them I would have to agree though with another post they do often have dead fish or no offense kinda nasty tanks I have seen them in good condition as well as poor. Now don’t get me wrong I can’t imagine what it takes to run that place because my 75g stresses me out! Recently I have seen ick on saltwater fish…. And the place kinda seems like it’s going down hill. They often don’t seem to have a good selection of fish always seeing the same stock even after a month or so of not going. I would not get any fish/plants/coral/ect unless you know what you’re looking for and have a little knowledge of how the type of fish you are looking for and how they are supposed to behave or simply just looking for ick. Hope this reviews helpful!Since posting this the owner has commented with a remarkably long answer to the problems. In no way was I bashing you’re store or really talking down on you’re store. I have simply pointed some things out. You even admitted to somethings I mentioned. As I said before I can no imagine what it takes to keep a place like that running… I also said I have stocked my whole 75 gallon aquarium from you’re store!!!! Have spent well over about 2,000 in his store. And I have over 30 live things in my aquarium 9 of witch are fish…. I fell that I was just leaven an honest review and that store owners should take the reviews as opportunities to better them selfs in the thing we think the lack. Now we customers are what keep you open right… I don’t understand why you felt it was okay to ban another customer form you’re store for simply pointing things out. Great example of rude imagine if I said this to the owner in person I might be band as well! Pleas people coincided going here On if experienced!

Very cool little shop! Good assortment of both fresh and salt water fish. Owners were very nice and knowledgeable. Just when we thought we had seen it all they showed us an extended area of the store with even more fish. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

This place is so beautiful and have a plentiful stock of fish, both Saltwater and Freshwater. Their prices are better than any petland, PetSmart ect. I just went there today and have a wonderful time just looking at all the fish they had to offer. Don't waste your money anywhere else. They treat their fish with the upmost care and keep there fish in big tanks even the betas too! Don't waste your time at petland petsmart ect. This place has everything they do and more at better prices. They staff is great! Tons of tank supplies aswell.

Great staff, always friendly and helpful. Not only great selection of fish salt water or fresh. Healthy coral. They can even order things in for you tank stand you name it. Having a issue or setup question they will help you. When I first started in saltwater was very helpful on what I need to start my tank. Many tanks later and bigger I still talk with them and ask questions, now more for the passion of Saltwater.Just when you think a great store couldn't get any better. They now have a Solar Division for all your Solar power needs. Win win for me since I have that as well and someone else to chat more about!Thank you for everything you do!

I was looking for an old fashioned mom and pop aquarium shop. Columbus only has big box stores left. (Which are ok for certain things)But i wanted my daughter (new to the hobby) to get a feel for how it was when i was growing up.Buying used equipment, trading, more variety, staff that will order whatever you want (not just what sells good) and I've found it! Thanks to J P success! I've gone twice in 3 days! Its worth the drive! A must see!
