Amazing! I informed the staff it was the first time my (senior) dog had ever been to the groomer. They assured me over and over again of his safety and their experience. Upon picking my dog up he was happy and smiling with a cute new bandanna ! Staff and pricing is making highly recommend.

A Tail Waggin’ Place is an understatement , my dogs leave here feeling SO happy, fresh and clean. I cannot express what a relief it is to find a place that treats your dogs truly like their own. Not only is this establishment super accommodating but their professionalism and dog handling is superior. My dogs smell good for weeks after and are always excited to go back. Shout out to Paula and her team for always an excellent job done!

My wife & I were very happy with the washing, trimming, & grooming. That A Tail Waggin Place performed on our sweet Daisy. It was our first time there, and everyone was so nice. The staff was very friendly to Daisy, as well with the other dogs getting groomed today. Daisy smelled soooo good, and looked like a show dog.

When my regular groomer canceled at the very last minute, I called A Tail Waggin Place and they got my dog in right away. Did a great job bathing and trimming him and were reasonably priced. Brutus looked handsome and smelled nice and clean.

Yesterday both of my Shih Tzu/Bishon pups were groomed. This was the first time for this groomer. When I called for an appointment they were able to get me in the next day which was great because I have out of state company coming. The place was clean and very nicely decorated. The lady who signed them in obviously loved dogs and was very gentle with them. The price was reasonable, since they had a lot of mats, but a little more than usual. I knew they had a lot of mats. The next time it should be less.The pups look adorable! I will take them back in a couple of months.Thank you for taking good care of my babies.

My first time there and I will definitely go back. Paula is a true animal lover that took time with my elderly Tuxedo cat. His coat was a mess because he has lost a few teeth and his hair would get caught in his teeth when he tried to groom himself. They bathed him, trimmed his nails, cleaned his ears and gave him an adorable Lion cut. I took in an old cat that now feels 100% better. I expected to pay more than I did, $95.00, and that's because he had a few mats. $80.00 next time because I won't let him become miserable again. Thank you Paula and I didn't get the other ladies names. If cats and dogs could talk, and none of them were barking or meowing that were waiting their turn, they would want to go to A Tail Waggin Place!!!

After reviewing and seeing the various comments, as well as the star rating, I decided to take my 10 1/2 year old Sheltie for a groom. Upon arrival, I completed an intake card, which is normal process. After completing the intake card, I mentioned to the lady at the desk he was here for a bath and hair cut. She looked at him and said he needed a summer haircut due to matting in his fur. Thinking it would be a short cut, I was okay with that. He was in desperate need of that being done. Upon picking him up, I saw he was shaved. Never in his life has he been groomed this way. It has always been a super short cut. It worries me now about him as I have been advised a Sheltie should never be shaved as damage can be done to their hair follicles, as the hair may grow back in patches with bald spots or the fur may never grow back at all. I was also told with shaving a Sheltie, it can possibly impair their ability to properly heat and cool themselves and protect their skin. Others may have experienced a great groom with this location, but I for one am disappointed and worried for my Sheltie. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

I have always done most of my own grooming but I had a knee injury and was unable so I made an appointment. I have a Chiweenie (Petey) and a French bulldog (Toby). I was nervous and have never left them with anyone except my son and daughter. When I picked them up they were really happy and of course excited to see mom. Petey is 8 yrs old and had a back injury last year and is sensitive to being picked up, I was concerned how he would be, but they were great with him, no ouchies!! Toby is 1yr old, bouncy, and has tricky ears and lil face folds, no issues! Cleaned him right up, no redness or irritation!! Even gave me tips for keeping his lil folds dry inbetween bathes!! Thank you!! They both had bathes, ears cleaned, nails done, the works. Great Job!!! I think my grooming days are over and I'll trust my babies to Paula and her terrific crew.😁

Me and my mom take our dogs here and they love it! They go every month and come out looking great and also smelling great! We love how she is so understanding with my moms dog who was not so socialized as a puppy and didn’t like to many people. She loves going to the groomers now to get some attention! We will always take our dogs back here to get groomed!

Not impressed. Price was more than the last place. Not thorough. I asked for a trim of any long areas of fur but not shaved as he has longer fur and didn’t want to mess up the undercoat going too short. Asked for legs and butt to be shaved down, paw pads shaved, nails trimmed, and then to round out the ears and trim the tail fur. Paw pad fur was trimmed not shaved (I can trim it myself, I really NEEDED it shaved to help with mud buildup), head, neck, ears, and back weren’t trimmed at all, as as I said he has long hair and is probably not any cooler now, maybe I didn’t specify enough but I did want his hair CUT Just not shaved down. The areas that were cut were choppy, but that’s doesn’t bother me all that much. Nails could have been trimmed more and at least one was missed altogether. I really cannot even tell you what they did and why it cost $75…..Won’t be back.

The last time I took my dog in for a groom, she came out rattled and shakey for a week after the visit. The last time I take her here. So many other great places to take her and have not had an issue since.

The owner fit my dogs into the schedule the same day. When I arrived, it was apparent that they were busy, but they still were able to work my dogs in. My dogs were nervous and scared to go to an unfamiliar groomer, but the staff was kind and gentle with them. They did a great job and I am pleased with “my boys” cuts. When I picked them up, they had little fall themed bandannas and had been given treats. It is obvious that the staff at A Tail Waggin Place cares about the pets they service. I 100% recommend this company.

Love this place. The Owners and workers are amazing. My pup always comes back looking great, and these groomers really are good at what they do and they always take into account what you are asking and wanting them to do with your animal. It will be done the exact way that you asked and agreed on. They don't just take it into their own hands and do as they please with your animal. They deserve a tip everytime! This place is amazing and no other place I'd want to take my dog. 10 stars from me!

We brought our 17 week old goldendoodle to be groomed and we were BLOWN AWAY by the quality, attention to detail, and value! The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel comfortable leaving our puppy with them. They took excellent care of her and she looks AMAZING now. I highly recommend! ❤️

I will definitely be coming back. I was able to get in quickly and the service was finished quickly as well. It's so nice to see my kitty happy again. It's been a few weeks and he still smells amazing. His haircut was also the cutest thing I'd ever seen and I love it!

I've been taking my dogs here for years and I'm always satisfied with their service. The prices are great and they don't over charge you. After bringing my dogs here for 6+ years I even sought out an internship at the business. I've now been interning here for almost 6 months and I'm blown away by how loving they treat the dogs. It is as if the dogs were their own children! All the dogs are kept in their own individual areas and do not mix with any other dogs unless a group all came from the same owner . I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good groomer.

Outdated services that do not meet the needs of today’s advanced society. No one pays on cash these days and every legitimate business has Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle or other electronic means of payment that can be set for auto pay. Wasn’t asked details on my animal to include no medical verification of shots or otherwise. It’s like, hey yeah just roll on by and drop off old Rover and we got it. The world just simply doesn’t work that way. As a prior service member and K-9 handler I never was able to take my pooch anywhere unless vaccination requirements were met and in most cases a meet and greet occurs. Hats off to FIDO for being an advanced service provider who was able to capture my vaccination records from Complete Pet Care out of Raleigh NC and verify vaccination requirements. I was also able to electronically pay and set up auto pay for future visits while they applied a military discount as well along with a free day camp.

We have a a dog name tank that doesn't socialize well with other dogs and can be a big hand full they have never turned us down and have always taken great care of our dog they are polite even if your dog is a nuclear head and are always professional they are the only people we trust with our dog and also the only people who can manage thank you so much...........

They helped me same day my first time calling. My young long haired kitten was matted and I couldn’t help him. They helped him immediately! I waited and watched. My cat was so calm and did great. So, we went back and got him shaved like a lion and he’s so happy during these hot months! Thanks ladies for your help!!!

Awesome place. Very friendly people. Good pricing for grooming and boarding as well. Got us right in without a appointment. Eevee loves her summer do. Will definitely be coming back in the future. If you are looking for a 1st class,friendly & VERY CLEAN place for your pets i highly recommend these folks

I most definitely will not return. The lady who groomed my cat was extremely rude. She scolded me for waiting a year to have her groomed therefore she was too matted and too unmanageable to cut. I appolized for the fact that I do not have time due to my busy schedule to brush her as often as I should. She yells at the customer's dogs. I was so stressed when I left.

Not happy at all with my pups haircut.. When I took my puppy in I told them 3 times I only wanted her body cut and did not want her head, ears or tail done at all. I pick my puppy up get home and take the hair piece out of her hair to find out they cut ontop her head and around her ears. When I called about it letting them know how unhappy I was about this I got the excuse at first that she was sorry and miss understood them used the excuse that since she is a puppy and move around so much she did the best she could do then when I mentioned the fact that it had nothing to do with my puppy moving around cause her head wasn't supposed to have been messed with at all used the excuse that she only cut on her head to try and blend it in.. So pretty much she took it upon herself to cut my puppyes hair the way she wanted instead of the way I asked it to be done.. I am the owner of my puppy and am paying to have it done so it should jave been done the way I wanted instead of the way the groomer wanted. If you ask me this was very unprofessional and I will not be taking my puppy back again and would recommend anyone else to avoid taking their dogs or puppies here and find a different groomer instead.
