Only place I go for cat stuff. One of the only places I can find this specific flavor of wet food my particular cat prefers. Runs deals frequently, and signing up for their program saves ya a fair amount of money - I feel like I’m never paying the full price at check out.Younger staff that runs that place like the NAVY. Love them. Haven’t had a negative interaction in the years I’ve been going there.

I have been coming to this location for 6+ years. Nice place for pet food and must haves. But i would never buy a fish from here. I have left a review in the past and to the store employees. They have issues with not always putting signs up letting customers know that the fish are sick & not for sale. Anyone that has ever purchased a fish knows we take our time to look at the fish before selecting one. So not having a sign out is wasting customers time. I have been a fish keeper for 8 years, the condition that these fish are kept in is horrible. Dead fishes in multiple tanks, fish with bitten fins, multiple fish with parasites. Some tanks are way over stocked and others empty. Lots of algae in tanks. Fish with black spots all over, ( that indicates poor water quality & stressed fish) when you have all those dead fish in tanks the ammonia levels spike, making other fish sick and can die as well.This is not something that has happened over night but has been going on for years. Everytime I come here for other pet needs I check out these poor fish and its always just so sad.Please find someone to take care of these fish properly or just get rid of your fish selection. Your probably looking money with them anyways.Here are some pictures from today. Other tanks were bad to, I just didn't take pictures of all of them.

Ive been shopping here forever. Everyone is always super nice, vip pets is here now and I love seeing shelter cats finding homes. But I can’t help but feel sad when I see the fish and pets for sale. Please stop selling animals. The fish always look in poor condition and seeing them in those tiny containers with no stimuli was awful. No doubt they will die there if not sold. How can you be a pet store and treat the fish this way. It is not right. I will have to switch to a company that aligns with my values.

The two groomers Mark and Katie are amazing!!!!They went out of their way to help me and I've been using mark for years now; he is so nice and helpful and does such a great job for my two poodles!!My dogs love them and don't like any of the other groomers I've taken them to. It means the world to me that they're being treated well during stressful grooming

Mark B the groomer is wonderful. He is kind and did a great job cutting my schnauzer. Everyone in the grooming area was very friendly. I would highly recommend this place they will treat your pets well.

The Pet Supplies Plus store in Lakewood is great! I received much help from someone by phone and he had to keep checking on things to answer my questions. He was very patient. They were also really accommodating while I was there and helped me get my purchases to the car. Great inventory and service!!

I came in to buy a new litterbox. First, they wouldn't let me return a large package of small pet bedding. Not even for store credit, although I had purchased it at this store and have been a rewards member for decades. (Hamster passed away so no longer needed it). Then they only had 2 kinds of litter boxes. I was looking to spend a decent amount on a good quality, hooded cat litter box. They had nothing in stock. Another store will be getting my money. They also had no Fresh Step cat litter, which is what I also needed. They do not stock Purina Natural cat chow, which I also needed. Will not be back to this location. I made a special trip to this store and was super disappointed.

The person that helped me near the aquarium area, I believe his name was Nate, was very knowledgeable. It's rare to find someone that actually knows what they're talking about with fish.They may want to look into a different supplier for their Neon Tetras though, because about 30-40% of the ones I get here don't seem to last very long.Edit:Brought it down to three stars because the next time I went, there were a bunch of fish that have clearly been dead for a number of days. Not to mention the lady that was helping me was very rough with the fish that I did buy. She also didn't have any interest giving me the fish that I actually asked for, rather just bagged whatever she felt like.

Spent $63 dollars on cat food plus treats. But with coupons I had& ones Pet Supplies + sent me I saved over $48. The staff were great and had great patience inputting all my coupons l love that they take competitors coupons. Great that they think about their customers wallets. Was able to get all the Black Friday deals I went in for and ones I wasn't aware of.

Mark grooms my standard poodle and he does a fantastic job every time..even when the dog is in rough shape because we waited too long between groomings. Poodles have alot of grooming needs and Mark does it all with great attention, he's the best. Plus Mark is nice and kind, I trust that he treats my dog with kindness too! If your looking for a good groomer, don't hesitate to book with Mark.

Well, I went in to buy capstars and flea collar for fleas for my daughter's dog. When I asked where I could find them I was told they were out,and didn't say where i could look, no one looked but I said OK.I look to see if maybe I will buy something else so i go hunting around looking for flea controlproducts..no help or anything from staff... then low n behold !! Capstar 😁🤣But I thought they were out??! So I ask to also get the seresro collar and she says the glass is not locked and that I can get it. 🤨 Maybe it was better for her to go back to chatting with her co worker friend and finish up playing on her phone because she wasn't helping me at all.Anyway, $120.00 later and next time I will be going anywhere else for my pet needs.I did get what I came for but service is important in a consumer world and no I don't need anyone to follow me helping the whole time just know your job,products and be helpful when someone is asking for help p.S.I would have spent more money but I decided to just grab those couple of items I intended on getting.Sorry the store lost money,I hope they find better employees.Oh! I almost forgot, I asked about their kitten adoption and not only was she being vague when I asked questions I felt discouraged she said kitten were$100.00 each but that I could only buy two of them so I would have to spend $200.00 and get two because kittens bond with each other and they have to be sold in pairs!? Lol What? I personally never heard of that but ok
