So my father in law is a resident and knew I love books so he had to bring me here. To say they have a lot of books is an understatement. I could have spent hours perusing the aisles. If you're looking for a super organized selection of books, odd and ends, collectibles and wallpaper then this isn't the place for you. But if you're a dragon that enjoys finding little treasures then I suggest you make a visit soon!!! Also, the owners are super nice and I'm pretty sure the place is haunted.

This place is extremely fascinating. It’s a restaurant, milkshake shack, thrift store and book store. It’s a bit scattered and you can’t tell where one of the three themes starts and where the others begin.Everyone I encountered were extremely nice and kids were laughing it up, drinking milkshakes. I had an Italian sub. I got the six inch and could have probably had the foot long. The food was really good and tasted fresh. I’d treat this place more as a roadside attraction then anything else. It’s a must stop because you will never see anything like this.

A quaint place where you step back to earlier days. The staff are great, friendly and accommodating. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The place is a random collection of various odds and ends. There are a LOT of books, spanning multiple floors. The books are sorted into general categories, covering a plethora of topics, and cover a large range of years, from old to new. It's well worth a visit to check out the incredible variety of trinkets. No visit could be complete without ordering from the old fashioned fountain. If your taste runs to something not on the menu, ask and surrender yourself to an incredible treat.

This place is something else. I mean it. Market Square is eclectic (eccentric?) in every way that is great. The selection, the people, the owner. Everything about this place is unique and worth the trip. I had such a great time and the owner was incredibly helpful and kind at every step. Guiding me to books of interest, offering to make me a sandwich - you name it. This is now a favorite stop when I am coming through Kinsman.

This is a very nice and fun place to spend a day. If Don does not have it or can not get it, you do not need it! Great food with low prices. The meatball subs will have you coming back all of the time they are way better than s-bway sandwiches.

Always an adventure. Went looking for a road atlas. Found one and an old Trader Vic drinks and food cookbook.

I love this place! I went to get Rootbeer floats here when I was a child with my family. I was happy to find out that I could still get delicious ice cream sodas and great food here ,recently. My sons and husband love it, too. Very quaint and inviting atmosphere. The owner and workers are wonderful. Great place to browse and buy if you are a book lover! The soda fountain is the best! Excellent selection and variety of flavors. I am partial to the Elderflower flavor. If you are a Star Wars fan, try the "Yoda Soda." My son recommends it. :-)

Local book store, variety store and deli. Great home made food, and milk shakes from scratch. I like to stop as I pass through. The owner is always friendly. Floors of books. Honestly a great local place. Bring cash for small business.

Great place for books, and Star Wars if you’re a big fan. Great subs too! And you can’t beat to price either! Will definitely visit again! For the food and Star Wars. Haven’t tried the ice cream, updates will come.

Best rootbeer float, really good ice cream, is very retro inside, extremely nice owner, one of the only places that have phosphate soda still.

This time capsule store has something for everyone! I enjoyed my cup of hearty and flavorful made-from-scratch turkey soup packed with meat and noodles! Delicious! Next visit I will allow some time to explore this charming place and find some books to take home. A wonderful find right on the town square.

I absolutely love this establishment! So many books! 3 floors of books, delicious sodas, friendly staff. Would come back again 5/5. The ice cream is good too. They have such a wide variety of things. They have children's toys, sewing equipment, antiques, and more. I would definitely recommend this store to all my friends.

I loved walking in and immediately smelling the books! The owner was really nice and explained the history of the Market Square to us. My friend and I spent nearly 4 hours roaming the 3 stories of the store. We ended our trip with an ice cream soda and sundae. Very unique store.

Best used book store in Ohio that I have personally visited. You may have to hunt amidst overstuffed bookshelves, boxes, and stacks of books going from the floor to the ceiling, but you will be ecstatic with the gems you find. Prices are extremely fair and most books are in stunning condition. Each time I come I walk out with at least 50 books. The owner rules too. He is a buff of film, literature, and local history. He also will not pry when you are book hunting. Use him as a resource of knowledge though and chat over a nice malt or soda! You will be happy that you did. Hoping to make another trip from Cleveland very very soon.

I just visited this place for the first time today, and I will definitely be back. The owner is the nicest guy and was so helpful. He also told me some random trivia about the area that was really interesting. This is an eclectic bookstore where you could really get lost for hours. I didn't have time to see all of it, and I can't wait to go back to buy more books and have a milkshake!

THE BEST PLACE TO EAT.Don the owner has his Deli open. The Subs and sandwiches are worth stopping for. Very resonable for as much as you get. We had a Turkey sub and BLT first night. It was so good we got Beef & Cheese subs the second day and ordered 2 turkey subs to travel home with plus a bunch of meat.Very different, it can be over whelming. Tons of books, the owner is very nice. Prices are good. It is 3 floors of a large building. It has all kinds of stuff. If you love to read, you will love this place. Also you can buy ice cream, milkshakes from the original Soda Fountian. It is worth a visit.Take a step back in time.

It's an awesome place. So much more than a book store!! This place has antiques, groceries, local produce, greeting cards. The best Ice cream and they also serve homemade food. Just stop in cause there's just too much to list. Don and his wife Joanie are the best!!

The new selection of snacks and the soda fountain are worth the trip. I love this book store, Don is friendly and always helpful. He knows his local history very well too, if you have questions, he has the answers. You could spend all day in this huge store and still not see everything. The prices are excellent, especially on the books. He also sells used household goods and furniture. In the summer/spring he sells garden plants and fresh local produce, at very good prices.

We stopped because we noticed a large sign over the front window saying "soda fountain." And, there is. My husband ordered one - the very pleasant man making it, even put his soda jerk hat on ! My husband said it was the best soda he had that was "store bought". It is nostalgic - a step back in time - very relaxing. We sat at the counter and enjoyed talking to the owner, who made the soda. Within the next week, he is opening a small restaurant within the same area - he told us fast food but good food. Lots of odds and ends for sale, too. There are also locally made homemade jams and honey. Quaint place, nice people and a good soda made the stop worthwhile!

What I usually call a junk joint. A whole plethora of oddities spaced over about three or four rooms in no apparent order. One-room apparently was devoted to what they called the bookstore but the books were not in any particular order that we could find helpful to our browsing. The complex also had a soda fountain with like Fair and a small deli section. We did find a couple of oddities that we just have to have that were reasonably priced. Certainly an interesting place to visit.
