Dr. Roll is awesome. Our 6 month old Aussie injured his mouth knocking a tooth loose and severely lacerating his bottom lip pulling it away from the gum/jaw. Dr. Roll did not send us away to med vet or something like that. He got him right in and provided the necessary surgery that I’m sure was very challenging. He took the time after to explain what he had to do and what to expect for recovery. So thankful to have a veterinarian that doesn’t turn away emergency problems and takes care of his patients when they need him the most. Plus he is reasonable on cost! Very grateful, thank you to Dr. Roll and his staff!!!

Pumpkin and I had a wonderful experience today. The staff at Maplewood Animal Clinic were very kind and professional. They were even able to deal with my large not-so-friendly cat with awesome care and skill. I will definitely bring Pumpkin back and I recommend anyone with pets to check this facility out.

I would give 0 stars if I could. We brought our 2 dogs here for a toenail trim after being told that we would be able to stay with them and restrain them during the trim. When we got there, the lady from the front immediately took both of them to the back. Our dachshund did just fine, however, when our bulldog went back, we heard him yelp loudly. I knew immediately that the vet (who was doing the toenail trim) had cut through the quick of his nail. The lady brought him back out and told us he was fine. I took him outside and saw he was favoring his back foot then I saw a large trail of blood accumulating behind him. I immediately walked him back inside and told the lady up front what was happening. She decided to use what appeared to me to be a dirty bottle of clotting powder and just slap gobs of that on the toenail. They didn't clean the wound nor did they offer to bandage it. She went in the back to tell the vet and he decided not to say a word to us. No apology or explanation. He just hid in the back. We thought we had gotten the bleeding to stop, but after a few hours at home, the bleeding is back and it's horrible. My dog is injured, in pain, and traumatized and these people acted like nothing was wrong. Do not trust them with your pets. If this vet can't even clip nails of a dog with clear nails and VISIBLE quicks, then he isn't skilled enough to ever touch another animal. I'm now looking at a potential visit to the ER Vet over a TOENAIL TRIM if I can't get this bleeding to stop. I'm absolutely disgusted at the treatment that this "vet" showed to me and my poor dog

Highly recommend Dr Roll and his team . I know when I take one of my babies to Dr. Roll they will be taken very good care of. If I have to leave one of my babies at the clinic I know I don't have to worry. Great Dr and medical team. Superior care and little cost. Cares more about animals than money.

should have made this review a long time ago but didn’t for some reason. i brought my senior dog in last summer (2022) to be put to sleep because of her deteriorating health. the staff was nice i have nothing against them, but when the vet came to administer the shot he didn’t knock her out first. he just injected her with the medicine to stop her heart. i didn’t know he was going to do that or i would of said something. it wasn’t fair to her, and in my opinion it was a very inhumane thing to do. she didn’t get to have a moment a peace before she was gone. because of that i don’t recommend this clinic to anyone

I made a first time appointment to bring my dog in. Due to the fact that my dog is a farm dog and very stubborn, it took me a while to get her in the car. So I ended up showing up 5 minutes late to my appointment. As I pulled in, the vet (who I didn't know was the vet) walked past my car and got into his car. Then he watched me get out of my car and get my dog out and then he pulled away. When I walked in, the receptionist told me I missed the vet and there was nothing they could do for me. He didn't bother letting me know that he had to go or anything... he just left. There was nobody there so he definitely knew I was his appointment. I will never go back there because he demonstrated that he cares way more about his schedule than my dog. Now because he was a rush to get out of there, my dog can't be seen by another vet until next week. What would have happened if I made the appointment on time? He was obviously in a rush so I'm not sure she would have gotten proper care and attention either way. Just really bad communication and customer service.

Dr. Roll and his staff were very friendly, relaxed and straight forward with us when we took our larger size mutt in for an injury. Our pup was almost a year old and not quite trained to contain his energy, but Dr. Roll gently took his leash and very soon had him feeling at ease. After the exam, but before treatment, Dr. Roll came out and spoke with us in a relaxed and matter-of-fact way. Service was great and fast, but I was extremely happy with the fee! For the care we received, many animal clinics would have charged 2-3 times the amount of our bill. Thank-you, Maplewood Animal Clinic Staff!!

Our dog was sick, and we just picked him up and took him, without an appointment, and the Doctor was great. They kept him over night, and their rates were very reasonable. The Doctor fixed him right up, and he's like a new dog !! 🐕 ❤️

I took my dog there to see the vet because the vet I had been taking her to said that she had an allergy and prescribed her the e-topic shot and apoquel. I took her to this doctor and he gave her a steroid shot because she was digging like something was on her constantly and he was awesome she's not digging what she was and a reasonable price

Have brought all of my pets here for the last 10+years. Brad is wonderful and the staff our great!! Highly recommend them. I recently moved and have not established a vet in my new state. I called them for an issue I had with my dog and they were able to give me advice over the phone. Wonderful people who truely care that don't try to charge you outrageous prices. Hate to not have them with me here in washington.

How I started going to Dr. Roll 9 yrs ago. I had a local vet, that when I called her for an emergency she said she didn’t have the time. I called Dr Roll and he asked how quick can I be there on a Sunday. We love this veterinarian. He’s honest and upfront on everything.

I will never look for another Veterinarian for as long as I have animals. While staying in a cabin at Burr Oak State Park our dog had been shot in the chest by a coward who was poaching deer. He survived the wound and dragged himself back to the cabin. When I called Hillary, I was told to bring the dog into the clinic and Dr Roll would be there when I arrived. Dr Roll is blunt and honest and does not sugar coat anything. If you need someone to hold your hand and play your emotions to get you to spend more money then maybe you should go to Buckeye Lake or one of the other astronomically more expensive animal clinics. Our dog is recovering well after surgery and we are all grateful for Dr Rolls expert care of our short furry four legged family member. Thank you Dr Roll, Hillary, Ally and Taera.

Through, nice guy. Basically robbed me though. I drove 45 mins with my horse because he had been chocked since the night before. Vet looked him over once, checked his heart, told me he was healthy, then charged me $40 bucks. It wasn't even 2 minutes worth of work. I wont go back. On the other hand the place was very clean, well kept.

Price gouging meds and refuses to approve or write a prescription. Stating they have it there and I can get it there. When actually they didn't have my smaller dogs weight meds, but had no problem literally moving her up to the next weight level, which is double the dose she requires. If It was only a few dollars different would be one thing but literally 100.00 dollars difference..thank God for the veterinarian board and a new vet..know your rights and the laws when it comes to your fur babies..will never reccomend or go back..others have shared worse experiences all the way to losing their baby after a simple surgery without even a follow up call to check on him, knowing how bad he was, but wants to send a reminder of his upcoming visit..devastating...rant over!

About 9 years ago i got my puppy charlie half yorkie mixed with a shih tzu. He got very very sick and someone told me about maple clinic so i rushed him there, they kept him over night for about 4 nights i was so scared. But they healed him all up. He eneded up having the dog flu. And i thank him everytime i see him.

Our dog goes to this clinic of which I read about through Google's reviews. This is our favorite vet in Ohio, the doctor is honest, helpful, and wastes no time in taking care of our dogs!
