Rescued a dog from this clinic. I've asked multiple questions at all hours of the day and even into to the evening. Most humane vet I've ever consulted with. Truly caring, compassionate, and committed to those she cares for, patients that can vocalize nothing. I trust and would recommend this clinic to any pet parent. I have found Dr. Jones to have only a loving hand with her patients and honest with the parents.

I've known Dr. Jones a long time. I take my dog there and one we lost Christmas day 2023. Dr. Jones went out of her way to help us keep him living quality life. Her staff has always been friendly. They have helped me many times as I'm disabled. I have no complaints. From one old horse woman to another...thank you Doc Pam and staff for everything!!!

Took 3 people to get blood then keep our dog overnight to have an iv called next day couldn’t get an iv to stay and couldn’t do a main line iv. If your a vet you should be able to perform these or let us know before you charge me 800 then just refer you. Save your many and go to a real vet office.

Great place to take your animals they are very good with them and very nice employees we have been going here for 7 years now and 5 years ago they saved our dog Midnight who had gotten ran over and shattered her back leg.. and you wouldn't be able to tell today she is on the go at all times...I definitely recommend this veterinary office...

If I could give 0 stars I would, butchered my Dobermans ears. Went it to have it fixed and they wanted $150 to fix stitches less than 24 hours old. Now sitting at emergency clinic trying to save his ears. Because there’s more wrong than just stitches popping out 😡

First off I have had problems with this vet. They don’t know anything! My Doberman has lumps all over her they say it’s fatty tissue but other vets say it’s cancer also did her ears 10 years ago and they didn’t stand took another dog there for ears they stand! They wanted to keep her over the weekend to get her hydrated it was going to be over 500 dollars if she stayed but I can do all the medics my self and hook her to an iv at home they wouldn’t let me but still charged me 480 dollars and she didn’t stay! Worst place around to take your pet! In Lancaster at least they are honest when your animal is suffering with cancer and her bladder starts to fail! The picture shows the lumps that other vets have said it’s cancer as Kingston says fatty tissue!

Date 09/02/23 at 2PM. Disclosure: ive used kingston veterinary hospital my whole life. My cats are age 2 and 7. Ive had a dog beforehand that was taken here. Ive taken them here and 1 other place primarily. Brought me and my girlfriend's two cats in on Monday to get regular checkups. 1 cat of mine was heavily stressed out from the ride (not typically this bad. Never had to sedate him beforehand). When he gets inside, he is usually very calm. Got him on the exam table and vet tech told me to scruff him. In panic I did and felt awful doing it. Tried to get stole samples afterwords, I told the vet tech that this ain't right and we need to let him have a break cause he was stressed. Brought other kitty to table. Right when I opened the enclosure from the top, the vet tech scruffed him and started to bring him out. I'm talking IMMEDIATELY. All she had to do was urge him out or ask me. I told her to NEVER do this again. The vet tech then said she was getting the Vet. I waited 30 min which is atypical for here. My cats started to calm down then right when they came in the room (after I had to ask the receptionist to get them due mind you.the receptionist wasn't any issue), my eldest cat started freaking out cause he associated this tech as a threat and started spazing out. I calmly told the vet what transpired and told her I hope she doesn't allow this with other cats. (Thry can't be handled like that. They then about charged for exam fees that were never done. On the car ride back, my eldest cat had an anxiety attack and was yowling and drooling in the car perfusively. I got him inside and has been doing better. No apology was ever given to me, my cats, or my Gf when she called kingston veterinary hospital (she has not been able to reach the vets despite leaving a verbal message to receptionist). Points to be taken to this practice and I hope they take this to heart.1) cats are not dogs. Scruffing a cat should be a very last resort in a situation if even at all.2) if a cat, or any animal, is stressed, the vet tech and vet need to be trained to say no for the animals safety. I would've been okay with this.3) take responsibility. Stop making excuses when you messed up.4) since the vets won't address this, I'm leaving this review and am going to a different vet.

This place is horrific to deal with! Constantly hiring new techs because they can’t keep staff. You’re told a time to bring your dog then they have “no help” or triple books all the time. I HATe this vet office with a passion. This is the second time I’ve tried to give them another chance with my Great Dane! Get there at 2pm at my appointment time they have No room for my dog to be seen & said someone will call me when they have an opening. I stressed I have a newborn, and a five year old with a 180lb great dane who is hard to get in and out of my car. I called 10 minutes before I got there spoke to a different lady who answered the phone said no problem they have a room and the doctor is back in at 2pm. I get there another lady was at the counter said it’s her 4th day there & she just repeats her self. I ended up leaving it’s 215 nobody called me & no idea when he would be seen. He just need an examine and heart guard . Zero customer service or personality at all everyone gives you a different answer & they do not care because of course they have plenty of business to care one way or another. I highly recommend animal clinic in Chillicothe that where I’ll be making all my appointments for now on. Tried this place because it’s closer to my house but not worth the stress.Edit: I have to reply this way because Google doesn’t let you responded once they respond. I wasn’t deplorable by any means. I never cursed one time I never yelled one time. I called numerous times once I arrived and nobody answered. So I walked my Great Dane in & never was told not once that there was a dog in cardiac arrest what so ever. The issue with this facility is horrific lack of communication.In fact the new vet tech told me her self that they had 4 rooms all appointments at 2pm the same time my dog was booked. She told me her self they were short staff and she had no idea when my Great Dane would be seen even though he had an appointment at 2pm if you heard anything why didn’t you come out and address me directly then? Oh wait because you didn’t hear anything that wasn’t why out of a norm issue. Why did they over book which has happened numerous times now) I was told my dog had a room at 2pm for his appointment on the way in. I was told I could wait in my car with my two little children (yet the new vet tech told me directly that they do not take the animals by their selves which is different than I was told on the way there). It’s a huge communication problem in your facility which is why you have negative reviews and lack of faith in the community with animals. I never was “deplorable” by any means but I was help upset that I was told multiple things from different workers with two small children. In my car. With zero apologizes or anything. The new worker was rude and looked overwhelmed when trying to answer phones as it was. This time was 220 before I left & never had anyone call me to discuss anything.You can call me whatever names you want to feel better but I’m an adult and I know what was said. Asking serious questions isn’t rude when this continues to happen.No worries my animals are going to a new place that has been wonderful & helpful even when I have my children with me.

Regardless of any experience I’ve had with this vet. I’m just here to watch the sh1t show she calls her profession. It’s a business some people are gonna leave bad reviews some good. You learn from that be a grown up and move on. I mean if she loses all business she’s got a career in stand up comedy cause she sure does like to roast people. I’m here for the comments keep your negativity coming.

Took my little dog into Kingston to find out if there was anything that could be done about his seizures and the vet said that getting him fixed would give him less seizures. She had said that it never fails...well apparently my dog was a special case. He still was getting seizures like he did before the procedure. We called Kingston to let them know and they said they had no idea who we talked to about getting him fixed?! Then they said they can give us meds to treat him starting at $250 A MONTH!?! Went to another vet for a second opinion and was able to get him on the same meds for $50 a month.

This is the closest vet to my house so i called them when my dog was choking and her tongue was turning purple and after having me on hold to talk to the doctor they told me to drive an hour to medvet, now i work at medvet so i know they are better equipped to handle this type of situation but i also knew my dog would not have been alive by the time i got there. I luckily was able to get the stick out that she was choking on and i asked them if they could at least triage her to just to make sure she was okay, they paused and i said never mind ill go somewhere else. I have never had a veterinary clinic turn me away when my pet was on the verge of dying, they have all at least stabilized my pet.

My pup Midnight , was ran over by a guy who had been using, I brought her here and I believe it was one of the best things I could of done , it's an excellent place to have a furry family member seen , thank y'all so much . Midnight thanks u as well .

They were very helpful. Little cat was sick and they got us in even though she wasn't a patient. She wasn't eating or anything. They cared about her and they helped her. I took a cat there several years ago and they did great by him too. These folks really care about your animals. I say 5 stars all the way. Honestly the best vet I've been to ever. Such wonderful folks. Kind, caring, and compassionate.

My dog was diagnosed with heart failure. He takes meds to keep him alive and himself. We have been going to the Kingston animal Hospital for over 12 years. They were closed the Saturday I had to take my dog to the vet. So we had to take him elsewhere to be seen. We were also told to take him to our vet to continue his meds. We did as we were told. When it comes to this dog like most dog people my husband would do anything so sometimes he called to check and see if the meds were in. This last time he called theThe very rude and unprofessional Receptionist yelled at him when he questioned why the meds were not ordered the day he paid for them. She also said he would not get the meds until Monday! This upset him because our dog can not go even 1 day without these meds or his belly swells up and he can breathe or move. He might have said some curse words but he was also cursed at and worse he was made to think his baby would be uncomfortable and in pain all weekend. Sad thing is it had never taken more then 3 days after the first order. BTW I was called 20 minutes after the situation and told the meds were there. My husband was band from calling or visiting the office but yet the vet is on his personal Facebook page (not a friend)Attacking his character! He never tagged Kingston in his very vague post! So that definitely makes me wonder was this vet stalking my husband's fb? Very unprofessional staff! I will not be returning after 12 years! Don't ever make the mistake of questioning when meds are coming in or why payment was taken without meds being ordered!

I recently had to have my beloved 18 year old cat put down, they gave me plenty of time and told me all my options without sounding harsh. They were very professional and understanding. I wrote a negative vet review a while back. Now we got a small claims court notice in the mail today for refusing to pay them for their negligence which led to our Siamese cats death. They ran X-rays and blood work charging us over $500 and our car died within a few days of showing symptoms of bleeding from the mouth & nose. Yet the 1st visit they wouldn’t confirm he was bleeding from the mouth (when you could actually see the blood). They’ve lied and said our cat had been sick for a few days. Which is untrue and nobody told them that. They’re incompetent, cruel and can’t diagnose pets conditions in our honest opinion. They also misdiagnosed my chihuahua for allergies when he had thyroid issues and an enlarged heart. Another vet found the thyroid issues this vet should’ve caught by his symptoms. Because of their misdiagnosis my dog now has a much shorter life expectancy & low quality of life. They killed our Siamese cat because they couldn’t diagnose him after running blood work and X-rays over $500 later our cat died the next morning after being treated at this office. They told my husband to take him to OSU, but there wasn’t enough time to get him in. He died the next morning. Horrible vet, not sympathetic and ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. Do NOT trust this vet clinic with your beloved furbabies. Then they’ll try to sue you when you refuse to pay them for their last negligent service and killing your pet. If I could give negative 10 stars that would be too good for this quack vet clinic. Warning to anyone who loves your pet, they will misdiagnose, charge you full price when they run tests and can’t diagnose serious issues and take you to court for refusing to pay for their negligence. Sue them back!! Worst vet I’ve ever taken my pets to. Never had issues with any other pet clinic EVER. Run!!

These people truly care. My little dog was treated at med vet for bleeding at both ends. Was told to see our regular vet within 48 hours. I was told about Kingston by a friend at work. and got Turbo in right away. They have so much compassion for any animals. Even for the parents and that's a plus for me.Med Vet was great also.Turbo is much better. Now my dog family will be going to Kingston Vet.Thank you so much.

Friendly staff! My 2 dogs enjoyed the staff! The vet is very gentle & caring which is my main concern when it comes to my animals. Extremely clean place!! I don't usually do reviews but this place met my standards so I figured they deserved a great review!! So if you have a fur baby and need a good vet call this place you wont be disappointed they are so convenient!!

Please do NOT risk taking your beloved pets to this veterinarian. They misdiagnosed my chihuahua as allergies when he had an enlarged heart. They were treating him with allergy meds instead of correctly diagnosing his heart condition until several months later as my dog continued to deteriorate. Now my dog has irreversible heart damage at 10 years old and it’s taken years off our chi’s life because they cannot diagnose anything it seems like. Recently our beloved Siamese cat was bleeding suddenly from the mouth and nose. They diagnosed him with pink eye!? My cat continued to worsen over a few short days and was taken back to this vet where they ran X-rays and blood work. They said they saw something behind his eye but didn’t know what it was. After billing us over $500 and our cat died the next morning after being at their office. We’re refusing to pay for their negligence of care for our cat that suddenly died. The vet has contacted me with no apologies for the misdiagnoses of either of our animals and threatening me if we don’t pay she’ll sue us!! Unbelievable they refuse to take responsibility for our cats death. Yet couldn’t diagnose him or give us any reason why he died so quickly under there care. This is NOT a vet hospital. Beware your pet will likely be misdiagnosed and they still expect every dime and refuse to take any blame for their negligence. This place is worthless and should be shut down. I will be contacting the BBB and vet board. The good reviews have to be fake. Do not trust this vet with your fur babies!!In response to owner, you couldn’t diagnose our dying cat with ANYTHING after running blood tests and X-rays yet still expected us to pay over $500 for your negligence that led to our Siamese cats death. Told us after 2nd visit to take him to OSU. We didn’t have time to get him in as we explained to you. He died the next morning after being in your office. Yet you treated him for cat pink eye. DO NOT TRUST YOUR BELOVED ANIMALS TO THIS NEGLIGENT VET!!

The worst customer service I have ever received.. the “office manager” hung up on me and when I called back the next day to try to finish resolving my issue I asked why I was hung up on her response was I worked all day trying to help you and you still weren’t happy.. my issue was never resolved. I didn’t know that was a reason to hang up on a customer these days? I tried to explain to her from my point of view what was going on and she kept my repeating “the tech said she spoke with you” I tried to explain to her that I never spoke to anyone about this procedure/cost and her answer was still “the tech said she spoke to you.” I asked her why she kept saying that when I’m telling her that i didn’t speak to anyone about an added cost and she said “she is my top tech and I trust her.” I even sent the in the voicemail I was left from “the top technician” showing nothing was ever mentioned to me in the voice mail and when I called back nothing was still ever mentioned to me. I can tell by reading some of the other reviews I’m not the only one who experienced a rude and unprofessional experience and judging by their rude and petty comments back to the bad reviews they already have I don’t think they really care.Update:: I never lied about what the doctor said or used any cuss words to her. I asked her why she was accusing me of being a liar! I’m not sure how I’ts considered lying when I sent her in email the voicemail the tech sent me and have phone records of my call back! She said she was doing vaccines and sending home nausea medication not giving fluids in the office! I can print them off and hand them to you. You also just proved my point of petty remarks back to your google reviews but yet the doctor can’t call me back and it’s been over a week. Maybe had you called your client back and talked with her you would know what’s going on instead of hearing a one sided story from your office manager.
