And the employees are wonderful; everybody feels like family here and I don't think I even know anybody's name! A truly magical experience everytime I go!

It’s a great shame this business’ reviews were tainted by anti-maskers/vaxxers for implementing safe COVID procedures. Much of the pandemic and how stores operated was out of their control, and keeping staff/customers safe is always best, especially for small businesses.Anyway, I didn’t visit during the pandemic, but I recently started shopping here and I love it. Great selection, good message, and good vibes. I don’t have much of a comment on the customer service; it has been fine when I have visited. It is pricey, but it is still great quality and selection of what are often speciality products. I will continue shopping here when I’m in the area!

This evening I attempted to buy locally. I drove to Kent Natural Foods to buy ground maca & ground matcha. I had to ask the young kid sitting on the stool for help finding both. They did not have pre-bagged (I prefer not to buy anything loose due to the pandemic. However, I did find a small ag of fresh ginger root.I stood in line and watched the cashier with dreads talk on his phone while a lady was trying to get a certain amount of a dried loose good. This went on for three or four weighs, yes he's still on his phone. She cashes out and he waves to me.I placed my ginger root on the counter. He rings me up & I handed him a $5 bill. To his credit he did hand me the change, while still on his phone. However he TOSSED my ginger root back toward me on the counter. I was taken aback because I wasn't upset at this time- just disappointed at not finding the items I wanted.I asked for a bag and he tossed that to me also- while on his phone. I bagged my ginger myself & noticed that he hadn't given me a receipt. And he seemed perturbed that I wanted a receipt and that he had to print the transaction receipt.So I am left to assume that customers aren't appreciated at Kent Natural Foods, and I will be ordering from Calabash Tea online this evening.Oh, he did finally get off of his phone after my transaction.

Wonderful selection of dry goods but the cleanliness is really lacking. Saw a dead roach there. Not to mention the customer service... truly horrid. The staff are constantly bickering and also extremely snippy/rude every single time I am in there. Which is often lol cause like I said, the products rock. Just avoid the produce and the people. Cheers!

I'm still new to the area, but I had a wonderful experience. I came in becasue my son fell across the street and I needed some first aid supplies. Everyone was so kind, and they helped me get some Band-Aids. Though the shop is small, their selection is quite surprising and we liked to get soem organic apples for an afternoon snack after walking around downtown. We will definitely be shopping again!

I stopped shopping here though I have been a member since they first opened... customer service is non existent in last 6 yrs ofIt is not a friendly and helpful place it started out as and has not progressed with needs of members as co-op. My last visit, I asked where to find something and person said look for it and walked away. Oh and don't call, they can't help just way too busy for calls. So on that note my business has gone elsewhere being vegan gluten free and naturopath I spend $200-300 a month ...you are too busy

This place is too scared to be in business. The blonde female employee is literally too scared to restock and refuses to look or actually help with anything, so you're on your own if you need anything. Membership discounts have changed, so you can't use them anymore (at least that's what she told me, probably because they're driving away loyal customers and can't make money anymore)I've been going there my whole life and will not be going back because of how the business is being run. It's truly a shame.to see such a nice place go so downhill , you guys have really ruined yourselves and no longer care about your customers.

I used to love shopping here but I’m no longer able to due to their strict masking rule conflicting with my religious beliefs. This hasn’t been an issue anywhere else in Kent but despite being perfectly healthy I’m not allowed in. I understand that there may be some people that are sensitive to being around unmasked faces but I don’t think this is a good solution. Maybe having separate hours for those that are sensitive would be a good comprimise.

I have been going here over 40 years. It's changed and not for the better. The girl they have working behind the counter is far too afraid to be working period. Most dramatic, obvious, over reacting to customers I have ever seen!. I was wearing a face shield and was made to leave. Because of my serious lung issues I AM THE ONE AT HIGH RISK! I will not be back. Neither will my entire family. Thats 8 loyal customers never to return. Ripped up my life time membership card. Bye

They have a decent (overpriced) selection for a small store! Unfortunately, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE the workers don't greet you when you walk in. They walk pass you without speaking; I mean at least have the decency to ask if we need help finding something or say hello! This was my second time here and I won't be back. They didn't deserve my $50 either trip. I prefer Mustard Seed (Highland) they're AMAZING and worth the drive!!!

Hello Kent friends. I have an exemption from wearing the mask and taking the vex. I cannot shop there any longer because I do not want my rights violated. Businesses and governors are not above the law and they do not make laws. Mandates and health orders are not laws. The language politicians and media use are misleading many, as they are meant to. Under federal law, Title lll, Section 36.202 and 36.203, it states that I shall not be denied equal access and participation as everyone else because of my inability to wear a mask, etc. But hey, perhaps you could start selling copies of the Constitution as toilet paper since that the choice you are making with your policies.

Love this little store. I always stop in to pick up my ripe (read: spotty) bananas. Features a small selection of local produce and a choicey range of healthy packaged foods (meat and dairy are appropriately relegated to a small cooler in the very back).

Yes, it’s kinda pricey, but it’s a great store for local healthy & natural foods. Personally, I love the employees and have always received wonderful customer service! I hope to join again when I move back to Kent this summer!

I am not at all impressed with the selection of supplements, fresh produce and stale baked goods. I was expecting more from the brand new store. Next time I'll go the extra mile to The Mustardseed Market in Higland Square.
