Great mom and pop shop that know what they are talking about. Very friendly and patient with my kids. We bought a Siamese mix and he is happy and healthy kitten we couldn’t of had a better experience.

I got my kitten here!!! Hes awesome! I've also been getting feeder rats here for quite sometime! The owners care so very much for all of their animals, and are very well educated in everything they sell. The fish selection alone is impressive, and they do both salt, and freshwater fish! I'll be continuing to return here for the foreseeable future!

This is such a quaint, family-owned store. I love how when you walk in you're greeted with hellos and smiles. Always kind and friendly service. Nice selection of fish and small animals. They also have quite a bit of supplies to help too.We adopted our kitten, Binx from them. They put the animals first and foremost. Which we absolutely, love.VERY knowledgeable! Stop in. I've been there on three occasions, and every time I've been there an older woman was working and was very rude. It's a shame because their fish there are clearly very well taken care of and there's a wonderful selection, but I can't picture myself going back because of the service.It's worth noting that it wasn't in reference to my care of an animal, the woman was just snippy with me whenever I had a question and more or less shoved me out the door three hours before they closed.

I adopted a kitten from here 2 years ago and the owners were very nice and knowledgeable about the cat. My baby shell is healthy and loved. Next time we look for another cat we will go there

i love this place i have been going there since i was a kid getting goldfish for my turtles :) and its not a kitten farm to whatever butthole said that. they have a fat white cat that walks around and its not pregnant. I love how its a family business like my own and the fact that they genuinely care for the well being of all animals including your own. Hutch is a good guy who makes an honest living. LOVE IT

Awesome- Came in for something to do one day, ended up looking around and chatting with the nice man at the desk for around an hour. Always shop local if you can- especially these guys. They take care of their animals so well and are so knowledgeable about all species there. You could tell there was a lot of passion behind the business!

I went in with my mother, and all the animals were crammed in cages. The cages were small enough as it is for one animal at a time but there was at least 20 rats in a five gallon fish tank. and there was six kittens in a ferret cage at the door. The fish tanks didn’t look too clean and when I went in the basement there was a shark-type fish that looked as if it had been dead and decaying for awhile and the others were eating its body. But the lady that owned the place was nice,,.

This is generally one of the best local pet shops. They have a nice cat that wanders around in the store, and have a nice selection as well as supplies. Although it's a little shabby-looking on the outside, it is actually very well kept. The fish are alive and well unlike other places where they're floating around dead, and they also give great advice to various pet owners. Btw, the car lt is fat, it has always been fat and always will be. It is not pregnant. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

I just recently bought a cat from here and I cant complain. Owners really know quality food and the effects it can have on the cat. The one owner even contacted us after since we were having trouble getting my cat to come out and gave us advice and checked up on us too. Quality people and a quality store!

Wonderful little shop. They have some adorable kittens for adoption. Nice array of fish, from small tetras to some bigger silver dollars and pacu/pirahna (can't remember which) all at very reasonable prices. I got a healthy, decent sized black moor for 5.25, which is cheaper than a chain store and much more healthy. They have saltwater as well as koi fry. T here was a section of used reptile decor which was neat, and a great bargain. The bettas they sell are kept in actual tanks with filters instead of little cups which is awesome. I ended buying some food there as well since the prices weren't inflated. They also sell crickets and rats/mice. Had a very good visit and hope to go again soon. (And no, 75$ is not outrageous for an adoption fee of a kitten, especially when you factor in vet care and vaccines. Craigslist free animals usually go to dog fighting, snakes, or research. Don't list animals for free or encourage the behavior)

This is a great pet shop, it's not very big but it's run by a very nice couple who genuinely care for animals. There may not be a huge selection like bigger places but it's quality over quantity. There are kittens, birds, fish, and reptiles along with the necessary supplies. There are friendly adult cats roaming the place, that are older and have bellies but are NOT pregnant. The kittens they sell are dropped of by people who don't want them when their cat gets pregnant, the kittens are cared for there and have had their shots when you buy them. They may be a little pricier than other places but they don't have several chains selling subpar items to help with costs. We've stopped in just to see the kittens, bought one several years ago, and more recently purchased 2 rats. All the animals have been healthy and if you have any issues you can always go talk to them. They've been doing this for quite some time and you can't guarantee that going to PetSmart the employees know anything about what they are doing.

The lady warned us her cat and bird didn't like people.......why do you have them at a public animal place then? The tanks were so dirty alot of them you couldn't see threw and she wants 75-125$ for kittens she rescued? That's ridiculous go to Craigslists for free. Reviews were so good we were excited to go and very disappointed wouldn't recommend to anyone

Nice place. People are so helpful bought a kitten and love that i cant just bring her home until they make sure she is completely healthy and they encourage you to come visit your kitten as much as possible until she is ready to go to her new home.

A small business that I visit frequently for quality fish food and fish keeping advice. I really appreciate how Betta fish are kept in 5 gallon tanks. Few pet retails attend to the animal's needs over sales like Hutch.

Awesome old school pet shop. These people have unique things you dont see in pet stores. The owners have ran this place together for many years. They have extensive experience and knowledge and are kind and helpful.If youre going to buy pets especially anything for your fishtank this is the place to go. Building is a bit run down BUT the owner knows his stuff. Bought fish a year ago and all are still alive and growing and breeding. Animals are well taken care of and it shows.

I go out of my way to buy fish food and supplies there. But the value is in their knowledge. They give out free advice all the time. If you have questions about fish, go here, no the chains.

The staff was very knowledgeable and yes it did smell but it is a store full of animals. I'm sure if you buy any of those animals your house is going to smell a bit too.

Great business!!! They have alot of fish and when I went there there was not any dead fish in the tanks!! I went to the bigger shops and they had only a few fish and alot of dead ones!!
