Gave 4 stars due to prices but otherwise 5 star experience. More expensive than other grocers so just be mindful of the weekly ads. Good selection of fresh meats, produce and has state licensed liquor store at Kent location.

It's a grocery store. Not a terrible one. Not a nice one. Prices are too expensive for the average food quality. They resell their leftovers of hot deli food at full price (which is already too expensive). They always seem to have too many leftovers and I can only imagine the amount of food waste happening. Who is buying old, cold, and dried up chicken wings at full price? They also put way too much junk food at the front of the store. They also recently expanded their already large alcohol selection and closed up the aisles making it harder to navigate the store.

Gave one star because of the new manager. We left State Road because of him. Now we went back to State when we saw he was the new manager at the store we had switched to! The store itself would get a 4 star, it's ok.

I shop at Acme regularly. They have a wide variety of products in each grocery category and are reasonably priced for a regional retailer. The store is always clean and well stocked. The employees are friendly and helpful.

I went there to buy something only so I could get cash back, and I asked the cashier if they do cash back and she said yes. After I scanned my item the order finished and I did not get the cash back often. She then sent me to the service desk and they said I had to buy another item to test if it works up there. The people there really have no idea how any of their equipment works

When I was still with my ex-wife, we went out here to visit some of her friends and family. I stopped into this little store real quick, because I needed some canned meat and some fresh produce. The meat tasted great like it was Cam the other day, and the produce was very fresh. Add a very affordable price. I wish we had one of these in my home area.

Shop here at least 3 times a week it's convient they have the best sales and the best selection of organic foods spices gluten free local produce ect. The staff is great friendly helpful attentive . Highly recommended my local acme!! Barkey staff is amazing Jessica H. does the most amazing custom cakes for most local acme's she made my daughter the most beautiful alice and wonderland cake even tho she doesn't work at the Kent acme she was able to get the order and have the cake shipped without any hassles We Absolutely LOVE our local Acme #7 in kent!

Alot of items out of stock throughout store, and there are a lot of bare spots in produce area. Definitely check dates on produce packages. 3 items had expiration for the same day I purchased but didn't check until I got home and was putting away. I just used it sooner than I had planned, so it wouldn't go bad on us.Workers are always nice and friendly, and it's convenient when I'm in Kent.

Been shopping here for over 30 years. I love that they use special needs individuals for various jobs. My main gripe is they don't leave an area for the handicapped carts for us to easily get on and plug them in. They put their products right up against them and the carts are butted up against one another. I have to pick up the carts to move them to gain access and many individuals are uncapable of this. I've spent well over $150,000.00 in this store over the years. I might have to start going somewhere else...

A standard city park. Clean, well maintained with a good playground for kiddies, ball fields and basketball courts, plenty of picnic shelters and a nice walk along plum Creek you could probably wade in. Open dawn to dusk and seldom very crowded.

Always liked Acme more than Giant Eagle especially the meat selection always seems more fresh to me at least. Can't say much about interacting with employees anymore. Everything is self checkout anymore, but that is everywhere these days.

Good Store. Everything is organized and easy to find. The staff is very helpful and equipped to answer most questions.They have a store card you can apply for and use for discounts on certain items throughout the store.Depending on the time of day there is usually no waiting to check out. You have a choice to do it yourself or have a cashier take care of you.From fresh produce to meats and dairy to canned goods everything is fresh and ready for purchase.Make Acme a stop next time you need groceries. A bit pricey unless you are shopping the sales. Which I do, I have the time.The store is always clean, friendly employees, and seldom out of specials.It's nice to see the uniforms -if only to be able to quickly identify an employee, plus they really do look nice.I have been trying to think of any time I have ever gotten any fresh grocery that was going bad within a few days (meat, bakery, produce, bagged salads, like a few stores in the area) at Acme, and can't.I really like Acme, I shop the sales. I get a kick when I get an ugly total, and then my card savings deduct the savings and I've saved like half. But I have to watch. It's easy to shop, the prices are higher for all the little things like the uniforms, the nice heavy duty carts. .

I've always liked this store, albeit they need to continue increasing their meat selections. The lay out is nice and generally can find good sales. My one beef is lately it's all "10 for 10". Who needs or has the room for 10 items each to get the sale? These aren't "stock up" promos, they are becoming their norm. If they remain I will have to shop elsewhere after years of loyalty.

Don't work there. Don't get your medications from there. Produce has mold on it, or out of date half the time. The bakery is always disgusting, they leave expired food out to be sold. If I could leave no stars I would.

Pretty good, never had any issues! Generally clean decent selection of products but they definitely don’t have everything. There is a fun cow button my the milk kids can press to make the cow moo (I always push it 😂)
