We stopped here on our way around the island. They had outside and indoor seating. The outdoor seating seemed to be pretty full. They had an outside bar and inside bar. The building is historical, it was an old quarry office. Our server was friendly and efficient. We got the big pretzel everyone seemed to enjoy it. Burgers were good, and chicken tenders were good.

We went there on a Sunday and at lunchtime the boats began coming in. They had live blues music but we left before that. The salad I had with chicken was very good. The views from the outdoor tables is awesome.

Busy place on "opening" weekend. Great atmosphere with lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine and the view. Food was good, we enjoyed the Flatbread pizza. Service was a little slow, not sure if it was a staffing issue or if they were just not quite up to speed yet since it was the Friday of Memorial Day weekend.

Rain or shine the West Bay Inn is a great bar and restaurant. Excellent food and cold beer is all one could ask for! They have seating options to fit the needs of everyone. Air-conditioned indoor seating, a covered bar with an outdoor patio and seating in the grass!

Before you order, ask how long the wait for food is. We ordered quick food, thinking it would be a quick stop but waited over an hour for a burger and flatbread to come out. Flatbread was burned. When we asked about it, the waiter said, "oh yeah, all food orders are about an hour to an hour and a half behind." Clean facility and nice staff. Wouldn't recommend simply due to the wait time for food while we are paying by the hour for the golf cart rental.Edit: they replaced the pizza free of charge.

We took our boat here. They have free dockage for visitors to the restaurant. The food was pretty good. Large portions and good prices. Service was great. It was an enjoyable experience!

On the walk up the courtyard was packed, people standing around everywhere. Opening the door we thought they were closed as there was nobody inside. One couple in the corner of the entire place. Got our soft drinks and they were so watered down no one finished a glass. The service was great the guy was nice but when the food arrived we were almost all disappointed. The fish that one of us ordered was great, thick and good. The rest of us ended up completely avoiding the meat in our meals. The pulled pork came in a rainbow of pale white greys and deep reds. Large un-pulled chunks that were all so slimy you had no resistance pushing your plastic fork through it. The chicken on the nachos and salad was worse than mystery meat pieces that came out of a sketchy microwave dinner. They were not remotely appetizing and were not eaten past the first bite. So we dropped 70$ on 4 meals that only one person enjoyed and 2 wouldn't eat. Tatter tots , fish , and service were good. That's all.

We loved this place, the atmosphere the workers was all fantastic. The food we got this time left us very disappointed, the nachos were just some chips with some cold nacho cheese and a few toppings, could get better nachos from a concession stand. Got mozzarella sticks and several were empty, no cheese. The burger was ok but we expected much better food from how much we paid. Great place, but the food needs to be better for the price.

We stopped in for a snack and to take in the view of Lake Erie. We were hoping to watch the sunset over the lake, but ended up watching a storm roll in. Which was still very interesting to see!The atmosphere is fantastic! Plenty of outdoor seating and an outdoor bar. A large area of the outdoors is in grass with Cornhole and plenty of space to walk around or let the kids run around.We did not order a meal. But we ordered the nachos and some drinks. I was not happy with the nachos. They used canned cheese.But this won't stop me from coming back. I will definitely return for a meal, some drinks and to watch the sunset! But will pass on the nachos;

Came over on the boat on a beautiful day.Yellow Perch was great, they give you four pieces. Nachos don't look all that appealing, the pork that was on top(out of chili) was just not good, everything was thrown on top so it was just plain chips on the bottom with some nacho cheese😖.Restrooms are CLEAN and that alone is key, staff is friendly.

Love their updated outside bar and patio! They have a grass area that's dog friendly. Excellent view of the lake. Need to rent a golf cart to get to it, but definitely a must stop on Kelley's!

West Bay is not family friendly and does not have high chairs for little ones. The food was average and margaritas were different based on who made them… Multiple people at our table ordered the same margarita and some people received orange juice in theirs while others didn’t? The waitress said different people make them how they want to. Obviously a nice location, but so much is lacking to give a nice experience for guests.

Go see the sunset at West Bay. You won't regret it! It's one of the best things to do on KI. Staff is great and good food (try the Walleye - enough for 2 btw)

Came in the off season before Memorial Weekend busy season kick off, was quiet for lunch as expected, kind and attentive service. Large portions, tried every variation of local Walleye- sandwich, basket, and blackened. All 3 versions were good, depending if you like the breading on fish, and excellent french fries. This place has a lot of potential for fun and relaxed vibes in good weather with more people, lawn games and live music right by water, plenty of parking. Seems like the only place out of the downtown cluster of restaurants, making it ideal to get away from summer crowds especially those without transportation. You'd need a car or golf cart to get here coming off the ferry, about a 5min drive from the main downtown/general store. Would definitely come back!

This establishment appeared promising so my family decided to give it a shot. We arrived on a Sunday around 3:45 and it was a bit busy, granted a vast majority of patrons were just drinking. There was no one inside eating at all, we chose to sit outside with everyone else. It was a nice day. We were told to seat ourselves and that someone would be with us but no one came. I ended up having to approach a server who provided new menus that don't match the ones online. We ordered food but the server ended up returning and telling us their computer was down and it'd be a longer wait. It took well over an hour to get our food from when we arrived. We're visitors to the island we didn't want to spend all day at this restaurant. They give you small plastic cups to drink from and charge for refills. They forgot part of my meal, but the rest of it was good. Another person in our group had their mashed potatos replaced with fries without being informed.I paid for one person in our group and our combined total was near $50 dollars, but keep in mind there's a resort tax and food tax I guess. They mixed up our bills, and said that was because the computer went down. Not worth it for bar food even at a restaurant that acts like they care. This place is next level ridiculous and I don't understand how it's highly rated. None of us will return.
