Friendly staff: right place, good hours. This convenience store is right across from Kelley's Island state park camping area. They have many of the basic items you forgot about and left at home (Firestarters, pop, hot dogs). Additionally they have clothes, souvenirs, and ice cream. Ice cream was good- everyone enjoyed what they got. They have approximately 16 flavors. The only negative is a $10 minimum on credit cards- but don't worry- its not hard to hit the minimum.

Uncl Diks is located directly across from the entrance to the State Park Campground. Which was very convenient when the state park ran out of ice for a couple of days!The store has clothing, beach toys, sundries and Tofts Ice Cream!We stopped in for some bags of ice and my son could not pass up on the Tofts Ice Cream!Customer service was very friendly. The lady that was running the register and dipping the ice cream was very pleasant. Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from. But I did not experience any bad service.Having the ice cream stand so close to the state park and beach came in handy more than once! Certainly saves a bike ride into town to settle the craving!

The customer service varies depending on the person. Some of the cashiers were very rude and impatient, although most were nice and forgiving. The ice cream was delicious and they have a good selection of merchandise. I do think that a list of the hours would have been helpful.

I went to Kelley’s for a camping trip. the location of this store is very convenient as it’s right across the street from the campsite. Unfortunately, during the 4 days i was there, I only saw the store open for maybe 6 hours total. Their hours are not posted anywhere including on their website. It was very inconvenient.I rode my bike there from my campsite because i was wanting to get some ice cream. When I walked in, the guy (who I am assuming is the owner) made some snide comment about how “were about to close why are you here you better make this quick.” It was like 8:30. And their hours aren’t posted anywhere. How are you gonna be rude to me about coming in before close when I don’t even know when you close?Other than that weird one off interaction, the place is wonderful. Clean, and they sell a minimal selection of camping needs and food, along with a good variety of souvenirs (and of course the ice cream doesn’t hurt.)Overall I’d really recommend it, i’d you can manage to find a time they actually open the place.

My girlfriend got yelled at by the cashier for wearing her mask below her nose, that should've been our sign to leave right then, but we were hungry, so we ordered ice cream. After she dipped the ice cream, and we were about to pay she told us we had to spend $10 minimum for a card. I didn't have any cash, so I had to buy $10 worth of merchandise just to pay for my ice cream. Should've just left the ice cream there with the cashier. Won't be going back

To be clear, this is NOT a supermarket. It's a clothing store and ice cream shop with a few food items, camping essentials and souvenirs. It's small -- nothing super about it!The clothing is beautiful island wear with a hippie vibe -- I bought several things. It's not cheap, so be prepared to shell out $40 for a sundress...Unfortunately, the kimono I bought had a tear in the seam. I can sew it up, so I'm not too concerned. But that's why I'm giving it four stars instead of five. (My kids LOVED the ice cream!)

Absolutely terrible customer service!!! My wife, daughter, son and myself walked in to get a drink and ice cream, my daughter orders a 1 scoop in a waffle cone, son orders 1 scoop of brownie bandit in a regular cone, wife orders 1 scoop of butter pecan in a waffle cone... I start telling the employee what I would like and she cuts me off saying: "you want an ice cream cone you can come back here and scoop it yourself because I'm not". I literally made my family put down their cones, left my drink on the counter and walked out! The customers behind us were also going to order ice cream and they left as well! NO customer should ever be treated like we were! Completely unacceptable behavior by the staff!!

This place sells drinks and ice cream along with some general merchandise. We purchased drinks and ice cream and when we asked to use the restroom we were told they didn't have one.How do you sell drinks and ice cream and not have a restroom for your paying customers to use.The person working the register couldn't even tell us there were restrooms across the street in the State Park.Won't go back again.

During the COVID pandemic there was over 25 people inside when the sign outside said max occupancy 8. No one enforcing the occupancy limit, only 2 customers wearing masks and people not physical distancing. The loan person working the counter and serving ice cream had the mask around her chin, no gloves, and looking unwell (sweating, and sniffling), she also snapped at the kids at the counter when the didn’t pick a cone or dish option quickly. Staying away, clearly safety is not being taken seriously here by the staff or customers.

They have a gift shop with shirts, hats and other assorted items. They also have cold beverages and several flavors of ice cream. Right around the corner from the glacial grooves memorial.

What a wonderful store!!! Beautiful clothing!!! And Jean, the associate was so kind!!! She even drove me back to the ferry since it was pouring and I had walked!!! Thank you again Jean and I will come back to visit next year when the weather is warmer!!! Thank you again for your kindness Jean!!!
