Interesting outdoor display of the artist's work. Clearly different phases of the artist's journey - metal, cement, rock. I especially liked the rock pieces - clearly a significant effort to use natural glacial erratics and sculpt them into interesting and beautiful representations. The garden is way out on the back roads of the east edge of the island but a nice addition to our day on Kelley's Island.

When the female form is embraced to this level, you have to wonder about the drive of the artist.Absolute quality, interest, artistry, texture, balance in the art pieces, especially the granite in my opinion.Definitely worth stopping by when visiting the island.

We came upon the garden by pure luck while riding our bikes on a day trip to the island. It was a nice spot to get off and rest a bit. We walked through many of the little trails admiring the sculptures. I'm sure we even probably missed a few, as they were tucked into many different areas of the property. We will certainly make it a point to come back and enjoy the garden again.

Beautiful and quiet, off the main path. You can see the lake on one side and the sculptures on the other. We were there before the shop opened, but we're still able to walk through the garden.

We discovered this place while biking. Lots of interesting metal sculptures, as well as stone figures of women. All outside in a garden setting, and free to walk through. It is near the airport, and the artist lives on the property.

Phenomenonal, unique, lovingly created works of art by a master, professor, island native. Display is professional level, impressive in this locale. Stonework from local rocks transformed into living, evocative, contemplative pieces. Brass and metalwork, paint, photography. Staffed by the artist with on-premises studio. Very friendly and relaxed on picturesque grounds, great part-day excursion about 10 minute golf cart ride from the bustling metropolis of downtown Kelleys Island village. No entry fee. Many pieces available for sale. Don't regret it, make your way here on your next day trip or vacation to Kelleys Island and bring home a nurdle. I have 3 smaller pieces, 2 stone and a brass, very handsome mantel or tabletop conversation starting artwork.

An amazing sculpture garden with incredible works of art across a broad spectrum of mediums. Step into one of the galleries and see even more intricate works carved in stone, glass, wood, as well as vivid paintings! If you're lucky you'll catch Chuck hard at work on a new piece he might just divulge where he gets his inspiration. Stopping at the Charles Herndon art gallery is an absolute must if you make it to the island!

Hard to find but worth the hunt-- beautiful grounds adorned with abstract stone and metal sculptures, bronze figures lead to a gallery chock full of the artist's works from acrylic paintings to stone carvings of every size and shape -- a true gem not to be missed!
