37 minutes from sitting down to food served..COLD.I ordered the BBQ Platter, which included choice of 3 meats. Wings were cold, beef brisket was cut so thin that it looked more like bacon, and baby back ribs were dry and tough.Service left A LOT to be desired.I'd heard good things about this place, but I'm doubtful I'll give them a second to chance after this visit.

Went in hoping for a good meal...wouldn't know if it was or not. Waitresses walked past my wife and I without addressing us, offering to take a drink order or bring over menus. They did, however, make sure the outgoing tables around us were waited on repeatedly. We left to spend our money somewhere, anywhere, else.

This place is hit and miss. I have had wings that were clearly reheated. I have had pulled pork that was awesome. The service is slow and all of my servers don't have a clue about the menu or beer selection. The beer selection is good for the area though. Prices are very affordable.

Great food and cold beer. Can't ask for much more. The bartending staff there is amazing. Doesn't matter what time you go. Never had an issue! Very clean. Best place to eat in Kalida.

Worked there as a bartender couple yrs back. Smoked meat just sits in the cooler and then gets re heated for the next 3 days, nothings fresh. Lots of drain flies in the cooler and behind bar. Cooks don't use gloves half the time and no one washes their hands after they smoke and come back in to work.

Went there for the first time while visiting friends. The food was amazing the smoked wings in a southwest ranch sauce (ask for them on the wings it's not on the list for sauces) was amazing the wings were out in minutes. The beers were ice cold the bartender Gabe was excellent and entertaining. I will be back when I'm the area and highly suggest them for good food at a good price.

Food is usually good. Prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is great! But the kitchen is ALWAYS backed up. Have been here two times and have waited over 90 minutes each time for our food. Our 8 year old son ordered off of the appetizer menu so he could eat sooner and the server knew we wanted his food asap.... So far today we've been here 88 minutes.....No food yet! ***Finally got our food around the 90 minute mark. The brisket was cold, the ribs were so overcooked they couldn't be chewed, and the wings were cold. Waited over 15 minutes for the check after we were done attempting to eat. Will be awhile before we attempt another visit. Very disappointed today. BTW....You might want to update to show that you've moved to Kalida now....

The food was delicious. Service was spectacular. House made sauces were awesome! Delight your taste buds here. Worth a visit if you're in the area. Prices are also great for the cost minded.

We were here on Saturday evening with kids @ 6:00. We were able to walk right in and be seated and served. Food was wonderful (if you like BBQ sauce, you'll want to ask for extra), plenty of drink options, service was great, and the place was quite clean and recently remodeled. Finally, my 5 year old said "this is the first time I'm not taking home a box, this is good!" Smokey-E's was quite a pleasant surprise.

When I walked in, I didnt know what to expect. But the place was well lit and extremely clean. A great open layout. I was greeted promptly by erica. She was very attentive and nice. I ordered 6 wings, kicking bbq sauce. And fries. The meat was falling off the bone. So tender and juicy. A great charred smoke flavor. An absolute homerun. The fries were just as good. But those wings are definitely worth the trip.
