Too expensive. Vets should greet EVERY patient…VERY VISIT…They are not busy all the time.Plus they push extra services to generate revenue.If you just need pills refilled… FILL THE CUSTOMERS REQUEST. but they know it all… no input allowed from customers.Been going there for 8-9 years… need to wake up and adjust their practice. Too big for Ashtabula.Today was the end of our patronage.

They were very busy, but nice. I had an appointment and they had all of the rooms full so they started the pet visit with me in the waiting area. I greatly appreciated not having to sit there for longer than I did.

Thank you, Country Doctor VC!!! We called in on Saturday morning, trying to get our Mini Schnauzer Freya in for an allergic reaction. They got us an appointment the same day!!! The clinic is very nice and clean. The staff is super friendly, and the vet tech and a Dr. was very knowledgeable and understanding. They took care of our mini and she was feeling a lot better that same evening. We liked the place and the staff so much that we will be switching all of our dogs to them. Even though it is a 40min one way drive for us, we don't mind making a trip to receive the good care our dogs deserve.

They were so good to me and my cat I found.. their estimate was $500 .... I explained I can't do that, they don't have payment plans... asked her if we could please cut any corners and they did...... didn't charge for grooming when he was a nasty mess.They worked the bill down to 250 which I thought was fair for five star vet care!

I just recently had my first experience with this clinic and the ability of the staff to understand all my animals needs is outstanding.I have an anxious rescue Mini Aussie and they did everything possible to make him comfortable including taking time to talk to him before the exam to help acclimate him to the environment.10/10. will recommend.

I have been going to Dr Veale for a couple years now. Her and the entire team are always so awesome even when they had to handle my very spicy cat very frequently... Their patience, resilience, and love for their job is insurmountable. I've always experienced high professionalism with all of these lovely individuals and they've always treated me and all of my pets with the most care. 10/10.

Do not recommend this place at all!! Super expensive. I felt so taken advantage of. They tried testing and treating my pet for everything except my cat’s infected tooth and when I showed the vet the tooth she said oh it’s just a loose tooth and some tarter build up it shouldn’t be causing him not to eat and instead tested him for an expensive pancreatitis test along with other expensive unnecessary medication and shots. I felt so bad for my poor kitty Will never go back here ever again! I took him to another vet and he had gingivitis and said the tooth needed extracted.

Amazing caring staff! They took amazing care of not only my animals but me! While waiting for my elderly fur baby to receive fluids after some rough findings they stayed in the room with me and kept me company so I wouldn't have to be alone after the heartbreaking news. We have been taking our pets there for the past 15 years and highly recommend any of the three offices (Jefferson, Geneva, and Ashtabula.) They have been through a lot with us and our constant parade of rescued dogs and have always been compassionate, knowledgeable, and honest. The docs are all very personable and explain everything very well. I have never felt rushed or had to wait terribly long. They have outstanding techs in each office, many who have been with them as long as I've gone there. Overall, there's no other Veterinary practice I would even consider. They ARE THE BEST!!!

Very knowledgeable staff! The setup of this clinic was amazing, did not have to worry about my dog coming into contact with other dogs. They handled my pup so gently and were soo nice to my nervous pup.They looked over her records and made sure everything was ok before we walked out the door!Loved the attentiveness and will be back for more care if needed in the future.

Not only did they show compassion when we had trouble a few years ago with our male cat, they weren't our vet, helped us through a very difficult time. We've changed exclusively to this facility for their compassion and expertise now with our family of Maine Coons. I highly recommend them!

Our vet was at a conference and unfortunately didn't leave a recommended vet to use when my cat suddenly stopped eating and acting funny. Trusted online reviews and went to this one and glad we did! They are caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and professional and quickly (and accurately) diagnosed my cat as having the same unusual problem she'd had just 10 months prior. Wonderful experience. They love animals and people and it shows in everything they do.

I went here for school on a job shadow experience. These people care about the animals and the people who come in. I remember talking with one of the nurses laughing and she shushed me up real quick because in one of the exam rooms a family was getting hard news. That drove so much respect into me because I didn't know what was going on but this woman did and had the utmost respect for the family that had to make a hard choice that day.The year I graduated from Highschool I found a kitten, whom was so badly injured and left to just slowly rot alive on the porch of someone I knew. (Never talked to those people again, poor kitten had been ran over and was just left on the porch for over a week to just wait to die.) I took the kitten straight here, I had no plan, no money, nothing but tears as I cradled the poor thing. They graciously took the kitten and put it down for me without asking for money or any details. These are good people. Yes the price is higher than most places but thier hearts are there and for what they showed and did for me that day will always hold my highest respect.

They take great care of my dogs. If I have an urgent medical need they get them in quick. I started out at the Conneaut office when I lived there and transferred to the Jefferson office when we moved. My dogs are very comfortable with them.
