I like Whit’s. It’s not cheap, nor is it fancy. But this is the kind of place you go to for one specific reason. THE CUSTARD. It clean, often pretty busy, and the food is fresh. Haven’t tried much beyond the fresh-made daily custards, but they do have great footlong hotdog. Typically staffed by local teens, but they keep up. They are always polite and attentive. It’s nice to see young people willing to work, and it’s equally nice to see an establishment willing to employ them. I appreciate that in a local business.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians, keep moving. This is a custard shop. Unless you are ovo-lacto friendly, there’s probably nothing here for you.Dietary restrictions: If you are lactose intolerant, this is not the place for you. I would avoid it if you have nut allergies as well.Parking: In a strip mall adjacent to a hotel and event venue, so there is plenty of parking. Drive through is a bit confined though.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly in that they server frozen treats, hot dogs, and Mac & Cheese!

A very efficient group of young adults served us, and they were extremely pleasant!! The restaurant had so much space to relax and enjoy the custard. This sets off the main road a bit, but the well lit sign helped us find it. Had my favorite-Hawaiian Luau.

I love the ice cream when it’s available. The last 3-4 times the daily flavor has been out by the time the evening rolls around.

I don't typically eat/get Ice Cream since my body literally cannot injest it; however I made an exception today with my wifu. We stopped in at Whit's to see the very wide selection of Ice Creams. The staff upon arrival were very nice and helpful; their selection as noted already, was phenomenal and wide. They even make custom meals here. We both ordered a Mint Chocolate, cookie dough. It was AMAZING. I highly recommend this place for ice cream and the prices were incredible for what you get. We Definitely plan to come here more often.

Love the ice cream I always get a chocolate cone my daughter gets vanilla and my husband gets carmel sundae I've never tried the food but I've been told it's really good.

We found this place on accident but we stop every week now. The Whits in Athens was awful but this one in Jackson is wonderful. I always get the flavor of the week and have never been disappointed.

5 Stars for the candy for sale. (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) I had white - covered buckeyes. Delicious.Their custard flavor itself is terrific.The Apple mixture milkshake I ordered had no apple flavor. I ate the little pile of apple & crumb filling leftover in the bottom of the cup at the end of the milkshake and there was very little apple flavor in it either.There is just very little apple flavor, spice, sweetness, or anything in the filling.

I have nothing bad to say about this place. This was my first frozen custard experience and I loved it. They had the radio tuned to K-LOVE so that was another plus! The homemade Buckeyes and cookies were excellent, as well. We didn't try any food since we came only for dessert, but I look forward to returning for lunch the next time. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stopped in today for footlongs, as we do occasionally. They have the absolute best hot dog sauce in town, we’ve searched all over for a good sauce, and this is the best yet. Honda and all her crew are always so friendly, and willing to help. I love going there.

Yesterday I gave a 5 star review. Today i gave a 2 star review. The lady that worked yesterday with the blond hair has a bad attitude problem. If you are old and taking a long time to order, she sighs a lot, so you hurry up. Not me young lady, not me. If you dont want to work, go home. There's no point in you being rude to people. The rest of the women that work there are amazing. Went out of their way to help out. Sorry you have to get a job to support your life, but that's how the world works.The food is amazing though.

Ordered a birthday cake for my little ones birthday party and miscommunication about the size of the cake happened. But the owner made everything perfect! They have great, well everything here is great! Had their Baked Steak with green bean, mashed potatoes,, and a dinner roll. It was all really good. Their main things are sweets but there is always a couple daily specials for s great home cooked meal. You can tell they love making great food! Loads of baked goods and the frozen custard is amazing. The cream horns are beyond amazingly great!!!!!!

Friendly people, Mom and Pop shop feel. I am not sure about the custard in the name of the place. I got the cookie dough flavor and my 11 year old got the plain vanilla and both of us thought it tasted like regular ice cream maybe mixed with a bit of whipped cream. The single scoop size is plenty for one person, FYI.

Best frozen custard around. Period!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access is difficult as the sidewalk out front is wide enough but Cafe tables obstruct it partially. On the plus side they do have a dive thru so you don't "have to" go in .

You know! It's a real shame. I find a place that has really good milkshakes. But you have to tell them how to make a good milkshake. Real chocolate ice cream. And reel whole milk. But despite everything. For me. I do not rush to go back. Because the unfriendly people when you walk in the door and have to deal with. they do not care if you are there. Or not! They do have really good overpriced no bake cookies and other goodies. a real shame! Could be a great place. I hope this helped you.

Friendly staff but do NOT go here for the hotdogs. They're nasty and if you get too much on them, the bun gets soggy.They were super bland, tasted as if they were either boiled or microwaved.Definitely go for the custard and not the savory food items.

Smooth creamy goodness is what you find at Whitt's. I got a banana split with raspberry in place of strawberries. It was amazing. I'm gonna go and get one now. Yum!

Nice place to go for good frozen desserts with a large selection of flavors for the kids. They also have other things to choose from to eat other than just desserts. A nice clean dining area ..
