Decent groceries, but they need a competent butcher. Meats are cut uneven and roast with thick layers of fat hidden under.

This place has under gone a change in management as well as several employees. Things seem to be getting better. Chris, the manager is friendly and helpful.Update: The Jackson store keeps getting better! Nice selections even though the store seems to be suffering from product availability. That's not the stores fault though. The manager and crew continue to be helpful and friendly.This is a great little store!Update:Even more improvements coming. The word seems to be getting out. With the new manager, Chris, the store is looking great.

I like Save-A-Lot! This is a really good store. I don't know why it's not busier than it is. They have the best cream horns. One of my personal favorites. LOL! They certainly could be a little friendlier. But the selection is good and the prices are reasonable. For the most part that is. I would definitely recommend this place for sure. Come here all the time. God bless! You and yours.

Most horrible grocery store I've ever been in..Please check the expiration date on any item u buy there..We bought two digornio pizzas that had expired one was in 2019 and the other was 2020..When we took them back the manager was a complete B**** and was so rude it was unreal..One of the employees went back to check the pizzas and brought back two buggy loads of stuff that was expired from the freezer..She did not want to refund our money instead our only option was to take another pizza ..Now I had two digornio and those are expensive she only wanted to replace one...Absolute Laziness, and ignorance..I have never been treated so rude over something that was not my fault..She should be fired on the spot and never allowed to work with the public again..They keep letting her work there and they will eventually be sued at some point..

Usually less busy than Walmart, and store brands almost match major brand quality. Always a good buy on staple items as well. And, for reasons I can’t explain- I love their spaghetti sauce. I make special trips just to load up on it. The meat here is also pretty good. I prefer their ground beef to all others grocery stores in town.

The store staff has always been very nice. If name brands arent important to you, you can find some really good deals on groceries here. They have a nice selection of meats and frozen foods as well. If you buy produce here, eat it quickly as my experience has been that it doesn't always last long. I save a lot $$ shopping here.

I love sav a lot I get all my can food and box food from here great prices I don't buy to much meat from here I've had a bad experience in the past but that may have just been me I am a real picky person. But overall it's an amazing place to shop and great prices.

Great deals, nice selection, nice employees. They're a little wiped out from the pandemic, but they still have a good amount of merchandise to choose from. Clean store, nice looking produce as well!

This Save A Lot location is managed extremely well, is clean, and well-stocked. As is the case with most discount grocery stores, it offers considerable cost savings at the expense of product variety. That is ok, though, the beauty is in its simplicity. With less choices to make, it makes for a quick in and out.

Great store to shop at on a budget. Not a fan of the meat or cooler selection because is usually close to expiration date or being bad.. Meaning the hamburger, pork, chicken, lunch meat, ect.

They're outrageous on they're prices it should be called still a lot instead of Save-a-Lot because there ain't no saving you guys can have stuff cheaper and have more deals on stuff not charge people $20 for a pack of meat and ridiculous robbery
