The staff here is super... very knowledgeable about the products and suggested treats that my dog would like. I didn't bring my dog but others did and the staff interacted with them so wonderfully. Becca really treated them so good, you could tell from her interaction she loves animals. The store was very clean and well organized, I'm going to continue to shop here.

First time in the store and staff was awesome! Everett was super helpful and I didn’t get the lady at checkouts name but also very helpful. Could tell they both were knowledgeable about puppy care, and we’re both very polite! Keep up the great customer service! I Will definitely be returning to this store!

I needed a new harness for my dog. The staff was very helpful in getting me the right fit. They also helped me with questions regarding the doggie bath station. Very happy I stopped in. Shop local Hudson!

I rarely give out five-star reviews. However, my partner and I came here a week ago in the evening from Uniontown, and it wouldn't be possible to get better service then what we received from both the manager and the cashier. The more I think about it, this was the best service I've received at *any* retailer in quite some time.

Visited the store because of a suspected pet allergy. The staff was so helpful in providing information and a product that our pet loves. Highly recommend!Wonderful customer centered shopping experience. Becca and her team are great at answering questions about their products and providing resources and I love they can order products, even if they are on sale. Our dog really likes the Red Barn beef air dried dog food they carry and we use the pet wash stations they have in the store frequently. Highly recommend checking them out for your pet's needs.

This was my first experience with the free delivery. My time was limited and noticed my usual backup bag was not there to get me through the weekend. The service was wonderful to assist me in this time crunch and have mentioned to several at Danbury that this is a great accommodation for their pet needs as many do not have vehicles and access to get pet food ... Thank you!

Today was our first time in the shop and we’ll be back! There was an impressive selection of dog food/treats and the employees were incredibly helpful. My dog is really picky when it comes to treats and the employees were so patient with him. My dog didn’t care for the first two samples they offered, but third time was a charm. We were so excited to find a treat that our picky eater liked lol

Very disappointed there is a self check-out. What is the point? It's not like there is ever a line... just another way to get customers to do the job the company should hire for and the choose to inconvenience their customers. I won't be back!!

As far as the dog baths at this location they have gone downhill dramatically. There was no hot water for my dogs shower. There was still hair in the drain from the previous dog and hair on the floor. Not small amounts clumps. I didn’t really mind the hair as much is no hot water. I paid $13.99 per shower. So for two dogs I paid $27.98. I brought my own shampoo that was higher quality. So all I needed was the water, space and towel. The water was not hot, the space was dirty still, and the towels were microfiber that did not absorb any moisture. I only used one towel for two dogs. The hair blower that they have used to be amazing but now it’s lacking power and it makes a really high pitched sound that hurts your ears. I use the blower for all of 30 seconds and decided no more. Then I moved onto the microfiber towels which were useless. Thank goodness it is 79° out so we just paid and headed to the car. Now as far as pet food and the cleanliness of the store itself it’s very high-quality. If I was basing my review only on the dog showers it would be a one. If I was basing my review only on the store itself without the baths it would be a five. This is how I derived at three stars.Response to the store. As far as the temperature of the water I used to breed and show poodles for over 20 years. None of them ever had any skin issues from using much warmer water and getting baths at least a minimum of every two weeks. The water was barely even lukewarm. Many dogs have their skin dry out from using tear free shampoo which has formaldehyde in it. Possibly you’re getting that confused with having warm water. Dogs body temperature is higher than humans body temperature so what feels cold to me is very cold to them. My dogs were shivering. As for the blower I understand that it is a room temperature. That was not my problem. The problem was that the motor seems to be going out and it’s making a ridiculously high pitch noise along with the nozzle end being worn out and flying off. It would not stay on.I reduced my three star rating to two star rating due to making excuses for having cold water and worn out blowers.

Our "fur child" Roxy was diagnosed with severe allergies, so severe that we were limited to exactly two brands of dog food that she could consume. Hollywood Feed "HF" in Hudson, Ohio worked diligently with us over the past 10 months to locate & secure these foods and now provides the one brand that Roxy loves & eats. Two specific HF representatives, Liz and Becca, have answered our countless phone calls and worked diligently with the manufacturer to ensure that her food is available. They have always provided professional and "personable" assistance, a rare combination of support these days. Kudos to them and HF

Best place ever! My cat just wasn't eating. Until NOW! The lady that helped me, saved my cat life! Gigi LOVES her cat food. KOHA Poke Bowls! Gigi was so happy to eat on her first day! I cried for joy! So, if you have issues with your animals with food. Please stop buying everything....just go to this store. They have strong knowledge about animals!

I was told that there was a case of cat food available at the Hudson store, but the store associate said that the only way to have it delivered same day is to order it online. However, the case didn't show up as available online. I explained that I couldn't come to pick it up because I have Covid and I would rather have it delivered so that I don't infect anyone. I had to ask if anyone else could help me & offered her my contact information when the manager comes in. The associate agreed that she would have the manager call me. After 2 hours, I called online customer service & they said the associate was not correct and that in fact, I can have the case delivered to my home without the online same day delivery service request. Online customer service was great. This is the third time, I've been told false information where a simple East transaction turned into a very long & difficult process. Prices are better in Amazon. I'm done with this store.

Alexis at this location is a gem! She was extremely knowledgeable on so many different things for my cat. From formula/milk supplements, cleaning cloths, and even treat suggestions. She was quick to answer my questions about engraved tags, showed multiple options and was very educated on all pricing and engraving procedures. I was very blown away by her compassion for my cats last days and her customer service.
