Let me address the **** I saw someone posted recently!! First I am a 100% disabled US Army Veteran. I reached out to numerous trainers, schools and places to get help when the VA told me to get a service animal. Thankfully I found The Canine Campus. Katie the owner went over and beyond for myself and Neo.A bit of background Neo was a rescue and if you know about animals from shelters most of the time they do not have the best backgrounds if any. Katie told me there was a chance we would not even be able to complete training because there is always a chance the dog and myself may not have the highest of bonds or just some dogs really do not want to work. Well I am glad to say within 2 months of working with her Katie not only saw my willingness to get Neo trained but Neo's willingness to learn.Since we did not know his entire background we went through the aggressive dog training class as well. We sure did use treats, praise and love to get by in this class and yep I sure did see some dogs that had to even get pills to help them calm down. But by sticking to the lessons myself and Neo were able to learn and prevent any kind of aggressive behavior before it ever becomes a problem. At for the statements from Chris Gagliardi saying ;1st: “She tells me they “ help “ veterans! Well they must help every veteran EXCEPT me.”Well Chris I will be happy to talk directly about all the Veterans I have sent to Katie and The Canine Campus because of the work she did with Neo and myself.2nd: “NO DISCOUNT FOR VETERANS”Chris this statement is truly laughable. Chris the fact is this place is one of the ONLY places that offers true discounts for veterans and works with Veterans and their animals they want to get trained no matter how long or how much time it takes.3rd: “TALK TO YOUR VETERINARIAN BEFORE TAKING YOUR ANIMALS TO THESE PEOPLE! TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! THANKS FOR NOTHING BUT STEALING MY MONEY CANINE CAMPUS!”I saw the replies from the owner directly offering to work with you one on one but you also have to be willing to do the work. This means scheduling the training and following through on it even when you are at home with your daily assignments. These animals are like people in a way if you do not use it they can lose it meaning it is not just going to happen over night. A waste of time and money is not returning with the offer of the free training directly from her if you seem to have issues with any trainer there.Chris I will offer you this as well from one Veteran to another. If Katie would allow, I will join any time you guys decide on a date to be there as another form of support to help you out because let's admit it sometimes as Veterans we need another Veteran to understand things in the civilian world.I have had my service dog Neo now for over 3 years and 4 months. He is my right hand no matter what. We have traveled, stayed in different states, go to Dr appointments, go to the VA in Cleveland and Youngstown. If I am there, so is my boy Neo.Feel free anybody to reach out to me for any questions about our experience here.

So much patience with the pups and ability to let us know what to expect from our puppies and their body language. My pup passed his puppy test today. So proud and will be saving up for him to continue to go here each level and continue to grow!

My dog loves taking classes with Mariah. She is so helpful during classes and gives great advice/methods to try outside of classes with other behavioral issues. I feel like I have learned so much and enjoyed all of the classes we've taken so far. Also, the dog daycare is amazing and we recommend it to all of our friends! Thank you!!

Literally the WORST thing I’ve ever wasted money on. Their aggression classes for dogs is total garbage! The only thing they do it’s try to throw treats at the issue hoping your dog will change, then when it doesn’t work they tell you to get pills for your dog.The instructor quit half way thru the class. The woman running the place said we should try again, then she NEVER calls back to tell me when the classes are.She tells me they “ help “ veterans! Well they must help every veteran EXCEPT me.NO DISCOUNT FOR VETERANSTALK TO YOUR VETERINARIAN BEFORE TAKING YOUR ANIMALS TO THESE PEOPLE!TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!THANKS FOR NOTHING BUT STEALING MY MONEY CANINE CAMPUS!

When my reactive German Shepherd needed assessed I called multiple places. I was told he was “too old” and that I should have had him in training a year ago. I was made to feel like I’d failed him. Not only did the trainers at The Canine Campus welcome me, they understood my frustration and never made me feel like bad person for trying to correct him on my own. I was offered an assessment, one on one training, compassionate support and the change was incredible. My reactivity to his reactivity was exacerbating the problem!! Gentle and clear instructions and kindness towards my dog resulted in steady progress. I couldn’t be happier. If you want aggressive training, this isn’t the place for you. If you want people who listen to your concerns, work with you through it all and make sure you and your pet leave happy and safe..I HIGHLY recommend calling them. I couldn’t be more pleased.

It's been long enough. I haven't worked there in 2 years but I loved the job, my coworkers, my boss, everyone. I did feel like I was asked to do more than my fair share for what I was paid, but I tried my best because i loved the job. After covid I felt hurt bc she could get people to do my job for free & basically told me I was not affordable.Understandable, but I even said I would do it for free, which she felt was unfair. I loved that job. Katie is very knowledgeable about dogs & if you need basic obedience or help with a problem, she's the best in the county. I miss the dogs, I miss the clients, and I miss those I felt like were my friends. But nothing lasts forever. I wish them well with the new location. It worked out well because I found an amazing opportunity but I'd give up the $ to work with animals again.Off topic but her husband, Dr Costello is by far the best vet in TCounty.

I was looking for a positive training group near me in To assist me in training my next service dog. Before I could attend a class, I had a very tragic accident and had to use their board and train option through one of their trainers. To make a long story short, I fell in love. I have had difficulties because of my recovery and everyone with whom I've had in her actions has been compassionate, caring, and involved not only with the training of Gabby, but concerned about me and our families various situations.I love Katie's vision, I've become friends with Kristen not only as a trainer, and as the only person I would trust my dog with for boarding, but also as a very precious friend, and I've enjoyed Eric's exuberance about all things dog.Even the ones that are administring the office, Liz and Becky, have been joys to work with. While Gabby was offset for the service dog training program timing, they have agreed to help me as she progresses with private lessons.I would strongly recommend this group for anyone with any type of dog goals because you will learn to love your dog, to understand her dog better, and to build a bond that will last for the life of your dog.I am so tickled to a found this place. I am looking forward to years of interactions with the wonderful classes that they have and being part of canine campus's family.

I wish I could give more stars. I researched quite a few schools while deciding where to take my puppy for training. I was torn between two different places until I saw that the Canine Campus had a class opening first. I am convinced it was a sign from God that this was where Caleb was meant to be. So far, he has been through 2 classes and we couldn't be happier. Kristin is amazing. She's patient, firm and really good with the dogs. You can tell she loves what she does. I'm a more confident dog mom because of her. I haven't met the other trainers yet, but if Kristin is any indication of the quality of the trainers they hire, I know we are in good hands. So, if you are looking for training for your pup, this is seriously THE PLACE to go.

I’m pretty picky who I let around my dogs because they are my life. So when I first got in contact with Katie from Canine Campus I knew that I would absolutely love her. From the variety of classes they offer, to how fast they responded to my plea for help, I was just absolutely floored. Katie came to my home and we discussed the many manageable issues that my dogs are having and great resources to back up her knowledge and the training. This place is an absolute blessing and we are so fortunate to have such an amazing place close to home. Thank you Katie for always being available for my dumb questions and making my boys a priority!! I will always send people your way!

Hard to hear, dog that lives there barks CONSTANTLY. WAS given poor advice on leash holding. Wasn't enough 1 on 1 attention. Too basic.I was unable to reply to the owner comment, so I'm editing original comment.Freedom isn't my last name, obviously,& Samantha is my middle name. This is my public profile name.My dog's name is Luna. That's all I'm comfortable posting publicly.

The trainers at this facility go above-and-beyond for pets and pet parents! The dedication, skills, and knowledge of the staff are so impressive. I would never go anywhere else for help training my dog! My dog exhibited some fear behavior as a puppy and I was nervous to seek help from someone, but after only the first 5 minutes of the first class I knew I had made the right choice. The trainers never made me feel shameful or embarrassed about "failing" to properly train my puppy. They were patient with me and my dog and helped me to learn how to work with my pup in positive ways to increase his confidence and promote good, healthy behavior. There are a variety of classes to help with behavior and fun classes too! It's SO worth the money and time spent - the prices are affordable and the times of classes work around my busy schedule.

I work with dogs part time and have cared for the Campus' dogs more than once as well as having sat in on both lvl 1 and service dog training. The trainers here are exceptional and they are very familair with positive reinforcement training and how its done. I have learned a lot from the staff here and as a delivery driver, I can tell you that the training I have received from them has prevented me from being bit at least once. They do an excellent job training and supervising playgroups. While the resident bulldog, Mufasa, may be large and a bit intimidating, he is superfriendly and should not be judged on his appearance. This is a great place with expert staff and I would not recommend any other local trainers above these folks.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Canine Campus! I’ve tried at least 4 other trainers over the years and not one even compares! I started my puppy in early 2017 and we have never looked back!My new senior rescue is just starting out there and Katie has been so helpful to me every step of the way, since I got him! She even facilitated the meet and greet on her own time! All of the trainers are amazing! They always go above and beyond. My Zoey has learned so much like: sports, tricks, obedience, impulse control... I could go on and on!She has awards and titles, it’s amazing what TCC can do for your dog! They learn, have fun, build confidence, and if they stumble TCC helps you get them back on their paws!!You can’t go wrong with The Canine Campus! I will never go anywhere else! Give Liz, the receptionist a call, (she’s Pawesome!) or check out the classes on the website! I know you will find something that sparks your interest!

Be careful. Our dog was attacked by the Canine Campus Bulldog when we walked in the door. The staff member told us she usually keeps the Bulldog, in the back since it has a tendency to go after, other dogs, because it had been attacked by another dog. When the owner was phoned, she defended the Bulldog even though she had not witnessed the attack. Very poor Customer service.
