Wouldn’t go anywhere else for a cut. I always book with Jason Huffman, but all the staff in there do excellent work and are very helpful in getting the customer what they want.Not only is the haircut/beard service top notch, the whole environment of the shop is comfortable and clean. There’s a lot of great products in stock to choose from and you leave knowing you are cared for and appreciated by a quality local business.

Jake is fantastic. I’ve been going to him for about a year and I’ve never had a barber that is able to give the level of consistency that he brings. At any other barber, consistency was so hard to get - I’d love one haircut, but the next time would just be okay. Jake on the other hand is somehow able to repeat a great haircut every time with little to no difference from the last time he cut it. 10/10 would recommend making an appointment with him. It took a few haircuts for him to learn exactly what I want (and even those were good cuts), but once he did I no longer have to go to a barber wondering if my next haircut would be as good as the last or not.

absolutely love this place. We’ve been looking for a decent barber to cut my husbands and sons hair for the last 6 years but I haven’t been able to find one I was happy with until we got a recommendation for this place. I don’t leave reviews very often but this place definitely deserves the praise. Not only was this the best haircut he’s had but they were absolutely amazing with my son and spent the entire time talking to him about Toy Story. The atmosphere and staff at Lakeside are top notch! It is worth a 45 minute drive for a haircut for the experience and old school barber shop feel. The cut is always perfect. You can tell that everyone in Lakeside truly cares about each other and every customer that walks through the door. Also, the amount of support for the community is amazing and inspiring. Jason is an awesome guy and an amazing barber! When you go in here you feel so welcomed and you get the exact haircut and look that you are wanting. The barbers are willing to spend as much time as needed to give you the perfect haircut and the price is very reasonably priced for the service and experience that you are getting, I would definitely recommend!

My new go to place. I have never had my beard trimmed until today and wow!! He did an amazing job with my beard and my hair cut. Very thorough and knows his stuff. Its an hour drive for me and totally worth it. Wish I would have found this place years ago.

I go forever before I get my hair cut because I always hate it and feel like the beauticians/barber doesn't listen to what I'm describing or they don't exactly understand. Nor do they ever seem to care to. Lakeside was the opposite I actually went in having no idea what I wanted and the beautician (female barber?) was patient and helped me decide on a style. Asking for my input and adjusting the cut along the way. That isn't a common experience me when it comes to haircuts. I don't plan on going anywhere else when I need a cut from now on

I had a fantastic experience. The barbers take time to do things right. No rushing you through and pushing you out the door. And the shop has an old school atmosphere that fits perfectly with their old school style. I will definitely be a return customer.

My fiance got a haircut & beard trim earlier today to get ready for our wedding that is 10 days away. His beard is very important to him. He specifically asked to keep about 1 inch length at the absolute shortest, mind you that his beard was probably about 4-5 inches prior to the appointment. What he got was about 1/8 of an inch everywhere. He has had his beard trimmed/shaped here multiple times before with no issues. I understand mistakes & miscommunications can happen. If it were any other time in our lives it wouldn't be such a big deal but with our wedding so close and there is literally NOTHING we can do about it, I am extremely disappointed and angry. We will look at our wedding pictures for the rest of our lives and remember what a bad experience this was. Needless to say, we will not be returning as customers.

Stopped by here while visiting Apple Valley for a family wedding. Needed a haircut and traveling from Florida, I found this fantastic barber shop thanks to Google reviews.This was a great spot to get your hair cut from a crew that actually gives a damn about their customers. Great personalities from the staff and my barber took his time to make sure I was all set for the wedding.I wish they had this barber shop down in my neighborhood in Tampa Bay... y'all need to open up a 2nd location down here!
