My first time there. The little blue house has some gifts and gardening merchandise and upstairs are two whole rooms of Hinckley spirit wear. In the plant section there are a large variety of trees and bushes. I'm sure the inventory will increase now that it's May. There was also a large selection of pots, yard decorations, and a whole bldg dedicated to bird feeders, seeds, etc. Will definitely return.

The staff has a wealth of knowledge on everything outdoors. They have a very large selection of plants. The gift shop is great for shopping for unique gifts and local made products from various artists. Don't forget the birds! The Greensmith has a whole building just for bird products! I've been a patron here for over 10yrs, and they have always been nothing but helpful and friendly.

The level of knowledge that came home with our new plants was as valuable as the plant itself. We were guided through the garden center through a large selection of various bushes and flowers and easily found what we were looking for, 3 Azalea’s and a cool plants called Hot Lips. Our guide explained in great detail how to care for our new plants. The knowledge of the women we worked with gave us all the confidence we needed in both the plant and care. I felt like I was on a guided tour through the forest. Next time I’m bringing coffee. Thank you Greensmith.

What a GEM of a place! Started in the Fall when I (duh) didn't bring home enough leaves to feed my larva (I raise butterflies) They we're the only place that helped me.I have 'help sml business' syndrome, and visited in Dec. They have an amazing selection of X-mas stuff, unusual pet gifts and a unique array of off-humor gifts. Went to both places and everyone (literally) was Great. Thanks and a Happy New Year to all!!!

Absolutely the BEST, healthiest variety of plants, shrubs and bushes I have ever seen. Looked for decent hydrangeas everywhere this year. Someone recommended Greensmith and I was amazed at the difference in quality of every single plant here!!

I've lived in Hinckley almost my entire life and never actually pulled in here until last weekend and WOW. This place is so great! There's an amazing gift shop that is decently priced and you can buy some outdoor stuff in the back! Like stones, bird seed, lawn decorations, and holiday decor! I'm so happy I decided to stop in here on a whim! I needed to buy my friend a last minute birthday gift and they had plenty of things to choose from. Greeting cards as well! They have a room upstairs the gift shop that has Highland T shirts and Clothing. They also have plenty of candles and wax melts that are great quality and smell wonderful. I was very impressed with this place and I really missed out not stopping in here sooner! If you are from Hinckley or in the area definitely check it out. Also the woman I met with at the register was just so welcoming and thanked me for stopping in! Such a good rapport for being a first time customer! Highly recommend!

Very cute garden center ! They carry a nice variety of annuals , perennials, trees and shrubs . Some proven winner stuff but not a lot . They also sell bags of soil , compost , fertilizers etc. They have a separate section of pottery , garden statues and many bird houses feeders and bird food. The best thing is their lil gift shop of home decor , trinkets , jewelry, clothing , candles and many more. Worth checking out every season for their plants and if you’re looking for a local handmade gift

Bought our Christmas tree there today and had a 5 star experience! Great variety of sizes, species and prices and each with a name tag to help remember our selections. GreenSmith has been the best contractor we have worked with since moving down here 3 years ago. Recently, we have noticed some unwanted insects in our home. We contacted their office and Ralph, their designated pest control manager, visited our home 2 days later and began spraying and setting up bait traps throughout our home. We are thankful for the quick response from everyone at GreenSmith.

My parents have used Greensmith for some pretty extensive projects, and I have always bought my Christmas trees from them (they have the best trees, by the way), but I had a small grading/gravel project and called them. The owner John was courteous and efficient, and the price was extremely fair. This place is perfect if you're looking for a smaller place to pick out pumpkins. But don't let the size of the front deceive you, there are TONS of pumpkins gourds and mums of all different shapes and sizes! Very friendly, helpful staff. Extremely reasonably priced!!!! This is my family's favorite place for picking out Pumpkins and Mums:).

Drove past this place many times but never stopped because it looked small and I figured they wouldn't have much selection. I was sure wrong! So we bought $700 worth of spruce trees. One had died a few months later. I was told there is a one year warranty. So I called in to them. I was told to take a picture and bring the tag off of the tree and they would replace it. So my wife and I went down there and Sandy that works there told us she would replace the tree. Then she found out she didn’t have any more of those trees. So she agreed to let us have 3 smaller bushes instead as a replacement. She even helped us load the truck. Then she came back and said she would NOT honor the warranty. And that we were out of luck. What a nasty person. Do not spend your money here. They are way over priced too from what I have seen. Shop somewhere else.

This is a hidden gem nestled in Hinckley. It may not look like there is much to see from the road but with numerous buildings, including a two story gift shop, you could spend at least an hour taking it all in. The staff strives to be as helpful as possible, and is there to answer any question. It's also refreshing to see the owner working side by side with his employees, and taking his time to help as many customers as possible. You can tell they care about your experience.
