Love this course and will always play here. Easy to get a tee time, generally relaxed, and absurdly beautiful scenery. I try to avoid the traps due to upkeep, but the course offers challenges with how long it plays and slope. This has been my home course for over 18 years and I would say there can be improvements for sure. But if you can just get out and enjoy the scenery and pace of play, you'll genuinely enjoy the course. (Just avoid the traps, and you won't have any issues)

I enjoy playing here a few times a week. The clubhouse staff is always friendly and accommodating. Nick is also excellent at finding things I often forget in my cart. Views are stunning and the short course (Buzzard's Nest) is a great place to take a new golfer or to get a few quick holes in. No better setting to watch the sun come up.

Needs some work. Fairways, greens and rough were not bad. Cart paths between holes were brutal to ride on and were very much in disrepair. Sand traps look like they haven’t been groomed since last summer. Grass and weeds growing up in all of them. Not worth the $53 for 18 holes.

Great course, Mike in the pro shop and the other staff are always very helpful and polite. Don't agree with alot of the negative reviews of the course on here. Sure the bunkers and some of the greens can use a little maintenance but overall it has great views and challenging holes.

Finding a ball outside of the fairway is nearly impossible. The rough needs trimming. However, the staffs are really nice.

One of the nicest secluded feeling courses in the area. Yes the cart paths pose a challenge in navigating the potholes. The vista's of walnut hickory and oak, the water features. Natural cliffs add interest to challenging holes. I feel like I'm on an outdoor adventure at this course. This course is a Gem

I have played here since I was 16 - now 45. Such a great layout! But, the upkeep is awful. I was there today and the greens fees were $51. I looked at the guy and thought he ran my buddy with me. Nope. That’s for one; 18-holes and a cart. You can play Chippewa - an EXCELLENT public track - in Doylestown, for less than that.It pains me to say this, but it’s an absolute goat track. The staff were very nice. But, if they don’t put some $ into it, they may as well sell it to a home developer. Sad…

$60 for one of, if not, the most poorly maintained course I have ever seen

Awesome course with some seriously long holes, beautiful when the weather is nice. Calm, rarely so busy that you have to rush. Love to golf here with my family.

Paid $53 to play. Felt like I should have gotten $25 back. Clearly the owners are putting in the bare minimum to keep the greens kind of playable and gas in the carts. You have no chance to make5 feet. The greens are as long as most other courses fairways. There is no sand in the bunkers and they’re full of weeds. Dandelions everywhere. Fairways are like short rough. Cart paths are a disaster.I’m sure the owner will reply with how they are competitive in pricing. To them I say: For the quality and condition you keep the course, you are absolutely NOT competitive. If you need to know what a pristine course looks like, Pine Hills is 5 minutes away and costs $6 more to play. And they pay the same prices for gas, fertilizer, etc as you do. If you get the same reviews years after year, you are the problem.6/13/23. Response to owner.I’m a 7 handicap. The reason I couldn’t adjust to the green speed is because I brought my putter and not my croquet mallet. And here’s a tip. Thinly veiled insults are not a good way to get repeat customers.

$58 on a Sunday is at the top end of public courses in the area. That’s fine if the course is well manicured. However, that’s not the case. ALL of the bunkers were full of weeds and water and unplayable. All of the greens were long and slow with divots and burnt out. Would be a nice course if they maintained it.

Not worth the money to play. Tees and, if want to call them, sand traps are terrible. Some of the cart paths will knock your teeth out. The greens were pretty good though. I was very disappointed since I played this course many years ago and liked it.

This course isn’t competitive with others in the Northern Ohio area. The fairways are practically just a slightly better rough, and the greens are brutal. Any putt over 6-8 feet long has a 0% chance of going in due to poorly kept grounds. The owner will say “oh we’re in a season where we are trying to aerate our grounds. To that I say, why is every other course not having this same problem? Cart paths are also atrocious. If you want to overpay for golf at a place that just isn’t good, then go here.

Love that you all raised the prices to $58 and still don't maintain the sand beds. Make it make sense please!!

Golfed on a Saturday at 1pm. Paid $51 for cart and 18. Given the poor quality and upkeep of this course and the drastic price of concessions, one could easily find 5-6 coursesWithin 10 min drive that cost less and offer better quality course. Price the course for the quality you are getting. Half the greens are completely dried out or dirt, most sand traps need work and the cart paths are completely filled with pot holes and dust. I’d be happy to play here for $20-25 less but given the better options in the area I find it hard to ever return.

Solid course. Typically easy to get a tee time. Greens are a little slow but overall enjoyable and in a nice location

Course is in disarray. The greens are completely destroyed and look like the surface of the moon. No joke. The bunkers were full of water and black algaeI just started golfing recently and this by far was the worst course I’ve played on.Sorry but you should look to save your money and play elsewhere*** reply - sorry for such a negative review but I have to be honestyes iam a new golfer but I know the difference between aeration holes and large patches of missing grass and dead grass. It was not aeration.I didn’t know that the shanty in the middle of the fairway was a gas line repair, if that is now gone I apologize for adding that to the review but I find it to be weird. If it was for safety then yes I agree that it’s better than my visual appeal on one hole and removed from my review. Though most holes were in rough condition, not just 1.Also when I golfed (august/sept) the leaves were not falling yet and all of your bunkers were completely full with water and black algae, it had nothing to do with leaves.Again sorry for the bad review but this was 100% just straight maintenance issues. I also golf there with experienced golfers, they all have the same opinion so I don’t think it has anything to do with the fact that I’m only a one year golfer.

Tees, sand traps, and cart path are in horrible shape. It looks like no one cleans up the tee since there were tons of broken tees all over.

Pros: nice views, can play quicklyCons: Overpriced, poor conditions, flat greens, poor conditions, overpriced F&B, did I mention poor conditions.Overall: look, it has the potential to be a VERY cool course and even a challenging one at that. The course tho has really let itself go. I am sure the difficulties of owning a course and maintaining it is difficult, but with the number of courses in the area its competitive as well. I will be returning I am sure a couple times a year, but it will be basically at a last resort. I do hope they turn it around as I remember this being one of my favorite courses to play, now not so much. It should be 30% at the minimum less to play here.

Greens were in terrible shape. Should lower the green fees when these are the conditions on most holes. Sand traps were hard with little sand in them and some sand traps were overgrown with grass. I won't go back.

I have been playing this course since about 1968 when it opened. Always had so so to terrible cart paths. Always had dry fairways in July and August. If you don’t water them they get that way most years. The sand traps are usually a joke. Greens vary but lately they are losing them. Very slow to the point where you can hear the ball rolling. When I could play 18 for $15 to $20 due to the Tee Time Book it was worth it. When the charge $30 to $50 it’s a joke. It’s too bad because it’s a nice layout. However it’s typical of a family owned course. It will be a housing development soon.

We played Hinckley Hills G.C on Sunday morning (8/15/21) and the staff was friendly and the course has a nice layout with nice greens. The course is overpriced for the rest of the conditions. The sand traps are the worst I have seen on a golf course and the cart paths are absolutely terrible. It will be a long time before we return to this place when there is so many better places to play.

I like the layout, the course was in good shape but the cart paths and sand traps were terrible. The greens were in good shape but slow. Over priced for this course and higher than similar courses in the area.

What would have otherwise been a great day of golf was unfortunately ruined by the ranger…just as most of the reviews say here. There were multiple instances where Bob would sit in his cart as we were teeing off and would then harass us to “move it along” even though there were golfers directly ahead of us. This course would be much better off without the bad attitude. Will look forward to returning when a new ranger is there.

Fun course at a decent value. There are a few interesting holes. Was probably a excellent course back in the day and is still in decent shape but could use a little work on the cart paths. Staff was very friendly and prices in the clubhouse were good.

It was an okay course. Greens were very slow. Very disappointed in some of the upkeep on the course. I hit a bunker that was about half filled with weeds and some of it was mud. I personally think it’s a little over priced. Club house staff were very nice.

Played here this fall in October. Beautiful course. VERY HILLY! Roughs were high and it was difficult to see your ball if you weren't in the fairway. Very challenging. Cannot beat the price. No one was out there either so playing 18 was a breeze. If you have a chance, get out and enjoy this course. It is truly beautiful and very challenging. You better also be long and straight off of the tee or kiss par on each hole goodbye! Thanks!

Golfed it late afternoon yesterday (end of May 2019). Time for some upkeep. Sand traps were awful (no sand). Cart path is horrible in some areas. Cigarette butts around several of the greens. One of the maintenance guys on the mower followed our twosome for half of our 9 holes, mowing between our shots. Very distracting and I felt pushed. With all of the other choices in this area, we won't be back anytime soon.
