This place is fantastic if you're looking for an easy experience with less walking than some of the larger venues. We discovered this place when another orchards open house didn't offer picking last year and didn't tell anyone until after you showed up. Karnes is full of super friendly and super helpful employees and the fry pies and cider slushies are to die for! Always plenty of delicious varieties of apples to choose from, but make sure you check first to see if the variety you're looking for is active for picking. Our kids had a blast, and we've made this our new family fall tradition.

Was a good way to spend some time. Apples are really nice.The rows that aren’t tagged are apples that are not ripe for picking. Got some plums, I didn’t like, but my boys did.I would go back. We got 1/2 bushel but will stick with a medium or small bucket next time. We will be eating and sharing apples for awhile.

This was a fantastic place to visit! Definitely worth the drive. Beautiful orchard, delicious apples and cider, great family photo opportunity, wonderful family memories! (Bring a wagon to carry your bushel of apples through the orchard!) Highly recommend.

We enjoyed this trip very much! Good prices and we were glad there were decorative pumpkins and gourds. The slushy cider was a nice treat. The selection inside was great. The only downside was the Jonathan apples were slim pickin’s. 😎

Great place to pick some apples with the family and kids. Lots of varieties. The fresh apple cider they sell is wonderful. Long time family run orchard worth visiting.

I was looking for a local apple orchard in Southern Ohio. So few left. I made a drive to Karnes and I was not disappointed! Bright open sales area indoors or pick your own in orchard. Beautiful displays of home-grown varieties in bins, half and one peck bags. Fresh-pressed, refrigerated cider. Ohio grown chestnuts and maple syrup available. So happy I found Karnes online!

Great selection of varieties and all were plentiful and ready to pick, or just buy a bag already picked. But then the kids would miss out on the fun time of burning some excess energy! Clean and pristine facility with friendly staff.

A beautiful orchard with a well run u-pick apples. We also bought fry pies and cider which were excellent. Very friendly staff. We’ll visit more this season!

A wonderful, family run orchard! Excellent variety of apples, peaches and other fruits! Be sure to check their calendar for when the different varieties are in season and ready to be picked, as some variety can sell quickly! Beautiful scenery too. Walk up to the top of the hill for an incredible view! Will definitely go back and I recommend it to anyone looking for a nice day trip for apples!

Can we just talk about the Fry Pies for a second please? I was out there last weekend and bought one of the peach and one of the apple and now I am so bummed that I didn’t buy more. Really really good! The whole experience was great and I’ve been to Karnes before, but I had never noticed these in the past and I was so impressed with them. I’m somewhat tempted to drive 2 hours just to get more because they are so much better than what I can make. Love this place!

AWESOME!! They have a broad selection of Apples,Apple Cider made from different varieties of apples.Apple Butter,Cookbooks,etc.You can buy apples or go to the Orchard & pick your own.I would recommend visiting this orchard.Apple orchards are starting to get scarce around this area of Ohio!

This is such a fun place. We took my grandson. They give you a basket and you go out and pick your apples, whatever kind you want, he had a blast(hes 1 1/2). Then you bring them back inside to weigh and pay for them. They also have fresh apple juice for sale, delicious!!

Always enjoy going here! Their apples are delicious. My favorite are the Cameo, they are available in late September and October. They have honey crisp, red delicious, fugi and more during the season. They also have pumpkins and Indian corn late September and October.

This apple orchard is great if you can't find the Apple where you want just ask they will tell you where it is. The apple cider is in the cooler and it is just wonderful best tasting I've ever had they are easy to find off of US Highway 50 if they have time they will probably take you on a tour of the orchard you can buy one apple I think it's $0.50 you can take a bite and try them

I accompanied my daughter Belle for her school field trip, and everyone at the farm was very knowledgeable, informative, and direct.. We planned to take our family back here for the tour and pick apple's and have a family day...They also provide you with bags to put the apples in you pick with information about the farm with tours..
