We headed out to Hicksville to do their Drive-Thru light display, for my birthday. We decided to give this place a try. Joann had the patty melt and onion rings. The O'rings we're awesome. Sweet onions, crunchy thin batter on outside; excellent. She said it was a good patty melt too. She was able to eat it for lunch today too.I had the 2 piece fish, with 2 sides. House salad was shared with Joann. It was that big. French fries were a little too crisp for me and the fish was ok. One piece was ok but the other piece was so OVER-FRIED that chewing it was a lost cause. It was so bad that not even our cats wanted it. That's saying something... It ended up in the garbage at home.Restaurant was very clean, staff friendly and attentive. We shared a very, VERY cold piece of carrot cake, which clearly had been frozen at some point. It WAS MY BIRTHDAY, after all.You can tell by the unassuming location that the regular diners are well known by the staff. We will give them another chance, so we can have breakfast there next time. Location, of the windows in restaurant allowed for watching the snow come down. Great place.-Brightest Blessings. )O(

Came at 9am on a Sunday when they were not busy at all. Servers argued over who was serving, waited 20 min and no one even brought drinks. Had to leave and find breakfast else were. Thought magpies was better since they moved locations but I was proved wrong.

We ordered all you can eat fish. Our fish was over cooked and the french fries were so oil soaked. Needed extra napkins to soak up all the grease off the fries. But the coleslaw was good . The waitress never came back around ask if we wanted more fish or refill on our drinks. Or asked how our food was . Food is a little pricey for the sub par service.

The waitress was alone, but she did a great job keeping up with almost a full place. We had lunch and the chicken basket was awfully greasy. I will come back, but try something different.

Was ok. Food was fairly good, service was slow. If you are in the area, it is worth stopping by. Not a place I'd go far out of my way for but it was locally OK. Ordered country ham, what I got I call city ham. It was fine, just not country enough for me.

Thrice now I've had the problem of their kitchen staff paying no attention to order specifics and wasted both food and money. Never going back.

The food was great the waitress was great !; A couple of the locals who I understand eat there everyday ? Pretty Rude !! One man and one woman stared at and glared at me and my 70 year old mother ! Wow!

Our crew has been going there every Monday for breakfast. Cheap, fairly large portions. O beware their pancakes are HUGE!!!!! a Solid five stars

Seems like every time I go in there the steak tastes old got that box taste to it it's not fresh the eggs were good potatoes tasted who am I kidding I didn't take the potatoes but for two country fried steak breakfast cost 24 bucks
