Great experience in the archery department. Purchased new bow and excellent service getting the proper bow accessories and building it. Also taking the time to practice and adjust sight to have everything ready for target shooting as well as hunting season. Always worth the 2 hour drive, because I know I'll always leave satisfied with purchased items and the great service that was provided. Thank you Vance Outdoors!

Bought another gun today. I had Rick as my advisor today. He did a great job and took the time to show the guns that I was interested in and explained some of the differences, pros and cons and personal experiences with the guns that I was looking at. Ultimately I got the Kimber KDS9C. Update… This gun is awesome. Accurate, comfortable for large hands and my wife with small hands was also impressed with how comfortable it is. Double stack mag 15+1 and comes with 2 magazines. Runs smooth, easy to take down for cleaning no special tools needed like some other models.

Addendum to my earlier post and a 5 Star rating.I received a phone call today from Bruce the Asst Manager and after a great conversation I agreed to go in today and meet him.Bruce embodies what an ESOP team member stands for at Vance's. Love the Hebron locationEverything is always clean and tidy. Staff are always professional, nice and courteous. I have never really had a poor experience there.George is the man when dealing with guns but everyone there seems pretty solid!Samuel W is great to work with and deal with… if you come in contact with him during your visit you’ll be in good hands, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful

First time visiting the store. Drove about 2 hours to get the Hebron location due to my friend telling me the have the best deal on firearms and outdoor goods. Associates at the firearms department were extremely friendly and quick to help. The other employees were just as nice and helpful. Will have to return again in the future when they have another great deal.

I have always had great service when I've been to the Hebron location. I didn't get the guy behind the gun counters name but he was quick to help me find mounts for my scope. He was very nice and helpful. I know sometimes there are long lines / waits at the gun counter and that can be frustrating. I just contribute that to good customer service making sure they are happy with their purchase.

I bought my items online. The next day I was alerted they were ready for pick up. I was greeted shortly after entering and had the pleasure of working with Alan who had great recommendations on ammo and was very knowledgeable. Everything went smoothly and left with a great experience. I will definitely be back to this vanced outdoors.

Finally was able to get in today to make my firearm purchase. There was a confusion and almost didn't get my rifle. The manager was doing his job and making sure weapons didn't go in the wrong hands. After clearing it all up, he made it right and did a great job working with me. Definitely happy with this location. Will be back.

Jon at the gun counter was super helpful. I never have a problem at Vance’s and always recommend them to my friends. Seamless transaction, knew the gun I wanted, Vance’s had a crazy deal on it. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

Truly a nice facility with easy highway access and plenty of parking. We came for the ammo specials and for the opening of their new boat showroom. What a clean and well laid out showroom with friendly salesmen as well. The ammo deals are what you can come to expect at any of the Vance’s in the area. Truly an exceptional amenity to any gun owners or outdoor enthusiasts in the area. Come and check it out next time you visit buckeye lake 😎

If there was a possibility of giving sub zero stars , I would. This company is totally incompetent at maintaining boats. And cares nothing for its customers. Boat a pontoon last year, when launched steering was hooked up backwards, after storing my boat for winter, launched again this spring they neglected to secure an access panel and the plug for my center toon and my boat started taking on water. Completely unorganized marine department. Those are only a few issues with this place. Total incompetence.

Cody was awesome to work with and did great setting up my rifle I bought. His bore sighting skills were put to the test and I was pretty much right on today when I put rounds down range. Unfortunately this is my first bad experience with Vance's outdoors. It's my first time at this specific location and I have little interest in returning. Was looking to purchase a multitool and all of their decent selection was behind a desk. I stood at the desk for about 15 minutes waiting patiently and then decided to take a lap and see what else they had in store. Upon returning and waiting another 10 minutes I was finally asked if I needed assistance at the knife desk to which I replied yes. 15 minutes later I decided that the wait just simply was not worth it. The only worker who spoke to me was the lady who asked if I needed any help at the desk. I dont think I'll be returning to this location in the future. Almost an hour with little to no assistance for a paying customer

Staff are always friendly and very helpful. Kurtis explained all the features of my new TenPoint crossbow and helped me do a rough zero. Kurtis was awesome and very knowledgeable and made sure I was 100% satisfied with my purchase. Sherri was awesome and polite and friendly with a great sense of humor while checking me out at the register. The lines were long and she still had a great attitude!

The associate was very patient and helped through the NICS process. The product was priced incredibly and came with a free optic and Walther offered a free safe. Between all the extras and the pistol great deal. Every time I need to buy a pistol they are my go to.

I was in the store to look at firearms-and several firearms that were in the used case were marked either at the same price as new or HIGHER. One was a Heritage rough rider that was heavily used, NEW on sale $99.99-Used $119.99, Several HiPoints-first gen, Taurus's, And Glocks-various gens. The staff was friendly, and helpful.

The only part of the visit I always regret is the LONG wait after taking a number at the gun counter. This wait can be over an hour! Fortunately, the number I took from the dispenser was only one away from being called. I actually visited the store in two successive days. The first day I purchased a pistol, the second day I visited to return (exchange) the pistol for another. Vance's has a policy where any returned firearm is subject to a $25 restocking fee, but since I was there to purchase another pistol, they waived the fee! Taking a number at least gives you your own salesman, and he stays with you until you are done with his services. Filling our the form(s) to purchase a weapon is time consuming, hence the long wait between serving customers.

In all the times I have been there I've always been treated like a person and with respect! Even if it is busy and people are getting upset because they have to wait a few more minutes the employees stay calm and still treat them respect. It's a great place to go to and shop.

I would give you a zero if I could. 8 years ago I said I would never come back because you didn't have any duck ammo at the start of the second season. Was told we won't have any until next year. I needed 20 GA. Turkey loads today and was working close 3 options behind the counter all tss $50+ for 5 shells, I usually think in advance and order it online. Hopefully my son gets to shoot a turkey in the morning.

Great selection. Process extremely slow compared to other vendors. Give yourself a lot of time. Most old people cldnt operate electronics for questionnaire process. Team was in no hurry to get people waited on. Tom was the best and most efficient and took care of us once we got to him after an hour wait. Counter wasn’t that busy for that long of a wait. Nice store though.

Look elsewhere when wanting to special order a bow!My husbands recent experience:On July 14, 2021 I placed a special order at Vance Outdoors Hebron for a customized Bowtech bow. Ken from the archery department provided excellent service in placing the order. When the order was placed, the manufacturer gave a lead time of three weeks. Those weeks go by and at the end of the fourth week I decide to check on the order status of my bow. With hunting season rapidly approaching, I wasn’t surprised by the fact that they hadn’t received it yet. After much patience, a few follow up calls, and another four weeks of waiting I called to try and figure out what the issue truly was. When I voiced my frustration with being told “well we haven’t seen it yet” or “we don’t have access to a tracking number”, it magically showed up in their back stock! When I showed to pick up my bow that afternoon, I quickly realized that it had not been in their back stock and I had been lied to! It wasn’t in its box, it had a price tag and label hanging on it, along with black rubber marks on the inside of the limbs from hanging on the sales floor rack for god knows how long! Alex from the archery department was the only one to apologize for the situation and he is the only reason I didn’t refuse my order. Save yourself from quite the headache because of this store’s lack of communication, ability to decipher what is special order, and lies after a mistake has been made. Shop elsewhere because honesty plays a key role in customer service!

The only downside was the long wait for help at the counter. Ended up leaving after over an hour wait. Prices and merchandise is great. Great selection. Will definitely go back. Owe my hubby a gift I was unable to purchase.
