Maybe it’s odd to rate a store, but one thing that I took note of was how impeccable their stocked shelves were. Not to be corny, but they were kind of a work of art! Another thing, the employees seemed happy, which hopefully speaks to how well they are treated by management.I love Marc’s because you can find odds and ends and some stuff you never find elsewhere. In 2023 they had a cool Halloween decoration that I had as a child and couldn’t find for almost 20 years!

Great prices, mostly friendly staff, but the music they play is unbelievably sad. I go in there to buy this weeks groceries and leave with depression. Whoever chose the play list is dedicated to spreading misery. Even the workers have told me they can't stand spending hours there with it playing

This Marc's is one of the best. I like shopping all Marc's because of prices, availability and supply but I don't get there often. We stopped in Hartville because we were in the area and I was impressed with the store, the cleanliness, it was well lit, and I was able to get everything on my list. I haven't been able to do that in our local grocery store for a while now. I wanted to give a shout out to the woman who checked me out, Debbie W, because she obviously loves her job and people. She is careful, kind, efficient, friendly, and very good. I hope she's there the next time I go, which will be soon. It's worth the drive.

I shopped here all the time. I loved this store. But lately it's gone way downhill. There was actual mold on the bananas. Expired medication on the shelves, bad chicken etc. I really liked this marcs too. I'm not sure if I'm comming back any time soon. The pharmacy is great though.

My daughter and I shop here frequently, 3 or 4 times a week. At times we decide not to shop there because IT'S FREEZING IN THERE especially now with Summer approaching you have to dress like it's winter time to shop there,ridiculous

Great variety of department store merchandise. They also have a pharmacy department. Seasonal decorations galore at discounted prices. Grocery store items also. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking.

I've shopped at Marc's for 40+ years and spent a lot of money there rather than at their competitor stores. Jan. 16th, 2021 I was told to leave by a 20 something clerk as I walked in because I didn't have a mask on and though I told her I had a medical condition and couldn't wear one, she said Marc's no longer recognizes that exemption. They will not get another dime from me. I never realized how many Communist people and merchants there were in America trampling all over our God given human rights. Rights that our soldiers fought and died for. I transferred my prescription elsewhere and will not shop at Marc's again.

Shopped at store today was overcharged not made aware of it till customer service manager walks over and asked why cashier light was blinking after i was cashed out and ready to leave store. Oh sir i forgot i overcharged you.... customer service manager acts like its my fault and was so inconvenienced by it all. What a Dang joke. How much on a daily basis do you people steal from the customers? Sorry to bother ya all by coming in to shop your store today.

4.5 Stars.This is one of the smaller Marc's I've been too. HOWEVER - their selection is bar none. Perhaps other stores have much the same (in twice the space), but the workers here ACTUALLY know where everything is - and unlike several other locations - if I'm walking in a daze looking upon the shelves - one (or more) will ask if they can help me find something...The shorter guy (don't remember his name) - dressed as if management gets special recognition - seems to work his butt off and leads by example. He has helped me find things (he knows where everything is), he has played cashier when they were busy, he is quite to clean up, etc...This is an OLD building - but its clean - and its always WELL STOCKED. If they are out of something - I ask - and they immediately start a search party to find it.Exceptional staff.Would be 5 stars if only the building and the bizarre parking lot was improved.

Great local option to scratch off the last few supplies on your shopping list, where I found what I needed that I couldn't find at Aldi, Sommer's, etc. since it's a bigger store than local competitors.

Like most grocery stores in Hartville, this Marc's location is a step above neighboring community grocery stores of the same brand. This store is clean, the staff is friendly, and it's fairly easy to navigate. The reason I shorted it a star is this location trying to put too much in certain places. As soon as you walk in there is always a display that impedes the initial flow of traffic. Once you get past that, the aisles are fairly spacious enough until you get closer to the frozen/refrigerated section. The congestion reoccurs and it's easy to scrape carts with another shopper while trying to move past.

Most of the time the lines are too long. They don't have enough registers open. I was there on a Thurs night tonight and they only had one line open. I waited for about 10 min just to check out. I almost left my cart in line and just went to Giant Eagle.

Went specifically for the deli an hour - half before the store closed and there was no one in the deli, it was all packed up!
